I used the Obagi "starter kit" that included cleanser, balancing toner, serum, day lotion, and night lotion for about 2 weeks and my skin ended up extremely dry. I'm 43 years old and was hoping this product would provide some aging reversal.I felt like I needed to reapply moisturizer to my face about midday.I guess you need to consider this system is "bleaching" your skin to even out the pigmentation.The dryness effect seemed to create wrinkles rather than help as indicated.Product is not for me.Want Obagi C-Exfoliating Day Lotion 2 fl oz. This is a great product.I have had skin cancer twice and have extremely sensitive skin.I have looked to find other products out there I like as much as this and I can not. I used to have to order it over the phone so I am thrilled I can get it online now.This product smells great (I hate the smell of sunscreen on my face), feels amazing (not greasy and glides on easily)and the best part is that there is no under eye stinging. I LOVE this stuff. I am addicted. I am allergic to nearly everything but this one I am not. I mix it with my dark tinted moisturizer and it makes it the perfect color for my face. I used to be really tan but now that I am taking care of my skin I stay out of the sun and put SPF on so I don't burn or get more fine lines and age spots. I have used Image Sun Daily Defense Moisturizer for thelast 4 years and have loved it.I am disappointed that
it is no longer available.The Universal smells really strongly of sunscreen,
with a richer texture. I would wear this only as a sunscreen.Not as a daily
moisturizer.

I have been using the L-Oreal Revitalift Day Cream with SPF 15+ for about 8 years now.This is marketed under the same name as the more commercially available product in a different pump pack that is also perfumed, and sold for about four times as much.While I prefer the perfumed version, this is a good product, and excellent for sensitive skin.However, as identified by a previous reviewer, the pump is a disaster.I have bought this particular packaging three times now, hoping I had just got a bad batch, and not only is the pump virtually ineffective to pump any moisturizer into your hand (often takes about 20 pumps to get any out), it invariably breaks when only half the contents have been used, so your only option is to take the lid off and tip it into your hand (not easy as the consistency doesn't lend itself to this!).If you don't mind this sort of messing around in the mornings to put cream on your face, it is a great price, but if you are pushed for time, I would probably choose an alternative (or the more expensive perfumed variety).
They don't tell you that this has avobenzone in it!That's probably one of the WORST things that you can put on your face!Do a little research... that chemical produces a MASSIVE amount of free radicals.I was really hoping that the Mexoryl was replacing avobenzone in this sunscreen since Mexoryl doesn't produce free radicals and is photo-stable.I feel like a fool for buying this!Put whatever you want on your face, but I'll keep my skin looking young and healthy!I'm sticking with my zinc oxide.Don't buy this junk!

I had to switch to a more tan/darker shade of foundation while using this product.Suggesting maybe it doesn't work so well.I used it every day.Also, the pump broke and since the container can't be squeezed and is too hard to cut, I couldn't get the rest out.I tried turning upside down and letting it drain but it's too think.So I threw a lot of it away...

Mercola's Natural Tanning Oil With Green Tea 8 fl oz
I have been using this oil in tanning beds for about 3 years. I do understand that there are oils that are petroleum based that will harm tanning beds, this oil is all natural and will not harm a tanning bed. Also, I get a darker tan with this oil than any magic 100.00 bottles of lotions they are always trying to sell me when I go in to tan. This oil is all natural there is nothing in it that will harm your skin or cause cancer. Also it does not clog your pores since it is not petroleum based. Tanning is so good for you but can be hard on the skin, this oil keeps my skin smooth and not dried out. It has no strong scent to give me headaches or sinus problems. My husband also uses it for tanning and loves it.
Dr Mercola touts this as a good oil to use in his tanning beds... but it leaves incredible sticky residue on everything it touches. If it gets on clothing or towels, it stinks for many washes and will destroy anything else it's washed with in the washer. DO NOT USE IN A TANNING BED. It leaves a sticky residue that hot soapy water washes won't even remove.
We are very disappointed with these side effects and now we're stuck with two bottles we prob won't use unless we go to the beach.

I'm currently on my second bottle of Mercola's tanning oil. I recently took it with me on vacation to the Dalmatian Coast (Very hot this time of year) and it helped me get a lovely tan. I was looking for a sunscreen with "safe" ingredients, my research said this was a good one. I would prefer a different scent it's a little "air freshener orange" to me (my husband says he like it but what does he know?!) A friend and I were at an event all day, at the end I looked at her and she was burned to a crisp! She hadn't worn sunscreen at all but I was so thankful I had. I spend a lot of time outside and have browned up over the summer but never burned and I'm certainly paler than than I would be without anything. I put sunscreen on everyday after I get out of the shower. This stuff works great!

I live in Phoenix, AZ and use sunblock on myself and my kids literally every day and even my kids will ask for it rather than a spray lotion or something else.
The bottle says it is WATERPROOF, which was important to me since I was going tubing and would be on the river for 4 hours.I took the sunscreen with me so I could re-apply just in case, but that DID NOT seem to matter.As soon as I got in the water this "WATERPROOF" sunscreen was coming off in the water, I could see the film on the surface of the water, which at first I didn't realize was coming from coming from me but as it turns out it was, stupidly I was still hopeful.About an hour and half in I reapplied the "WATERPROOF" sunscreen to my legsto ensure that I would not burn, but to no avail.My legs were burned so badly that I may as well have not put on anything.
That evening my legs were so red they were almost purple.I found myself with sun poisoning and felt ill most of that night, being cold and hot at the same time and unable to cover up because of the pain.
If you are a fair haired fair skinned person I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCTAT ALL.

For 9 bucks a bottle, I was expecting a better product.It has a very mild and pleasant smell and rubs in easily leaving behind a slight greasy feeling.Sun protection was mediocre at best.I applied it once every 2 hours with no water exposure and I still got burned.They claim it is "sweat proof" and that it will not get in your eyes and sting... Totally inaccurate.I have never before experienced such a stinging sensation around the eyes from a sunscreen before.Terrible product and I will not be purchasing this again.

Sunscreen isn't cheap and at $8.50 for six ounces this follows suit, but it's very worth it in my book.We are getting ready to head to the Caribbean, and I am already stocking up!

The great thing about this new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration sunscreen is that to me it isn't just sunscreen, but much more! I hate the kind of sticky feeling that most sunscreens leave on my hands and skin, but HT Silk Hydration is creamy like a lotion without the sticky feeling. I have raised red, swollen bumps on my cheekbones, scaly and peeling skin under my eyes and bridge of my nose and my forehead just hurts to touch.It feels like I have a severe sunburn.I immediately discontinued using the product but it is several days now and my skin does not seem to be getting better but thankfully, no worse.I definitely would NOT recommend this product.
