I live in the Carolinas and wanted a moisturizing sunscreen for using all over the body.I have been doing a lot of research to find a highly rated item for a reasonable price, and this sunscreen met my criteria.Unfortunately, I had a skin reaction to it.Anywhere skin touches skin like inside the elbows or behind the knees is causing me to have a reaction...more like a rash...and I have never had a reaction to any major brand sunscreen.I just wish I knew what ingredient was causing the reaction.Pros:It does feel good and rubs in well, and there is no white residue like some of the other brands.I just wish I could use it.

I would reorder this in a heartbeat! I've tried numerous sunscreens from Neutrogena to Shiseido.They all make me break out! Elta MD was recommended by my dermatologist and so I purchased a small bottle. When I put Elta MD on, I've noticed that it is extremely light.Most sunscreens are thick and sticky; however, you cant even feel this on your face.For all of you who are prone to sunburns or sunspots like me, this product is a must! I live in Florida, the sunshine state. A good friend was given this sunscreen while she was pregnant, by her dermatologist. She recommended I try it and I love it! I usually don't wear sunscreen and have olive skin that doesn't burn too easily but I am getting older and worry about my skin, wrinkles and cancer! I still tanned beautifully but never burned. My mom is extremely fair skinned and always burns. I made her use this sunscreen and she actually tanned a little. Her skin only burned on the tiny area behind her knees where she forgot to put the sunscreen! Also most spf products irritate my eyes and this one never did. I use this now everyday as face lotion all year round. The sunscreen doesn't smell or have an oily or thick consistency. I like the way it feels and I feel protected and grown up with this sunscreen. The teenager in me only misses the smell of Hawaiian Tropic!

After using this as my main moisturizer, I can't go back to the cheaper drugstore ones. This moisturizer does its job of not over moisturizing, but also gives my skin and nice dewy glow. I don't get oily as fast compared to other moisturizers I have used. Give it maybe three hours for an oily nose to kick in, but that can be easily blotted away. I love this moisturizer!
When applying the product it noticeably changes the feel of your skin in a great way.
I've used a heap of mattifying moisturisers over the years, including some a lot more expensive than this vichy product. It is seriously the best I've used.
My only complaint is that the tube is quite small, and so may not last too long.

I would highly recommend you do not use any of Alba's sunscreen products.They contain two chemicals that they use that are not good for the body.The two chemicals I am talking about are Octocrylene Produces oxygen radicals when exposed to UV light and Homosalate Research indicates it is a weak hormone disruptor, forms toxic metabolites, and can enhance the penetration of a toxic herbicide.You think you can trust the name "Alba", but the truth of the matter is you can't.The two sunscreens I would recommend is Badger or Goddess Garden.It frustrates me that you have these companies out there saying that they are all natural but really aren't.
Octinoxate is a human endocrine disruptor-it affected reproduction processes in animal tests, can disrupt cellular activities in humans, and can accumulate in human tissues, according to the site.The other ingredients have also generated concern in scientific studies. EWG lists the best and safest sunscreens on its site.From now on, I'll check first before buying sunscreen... even those that say "natural" on the label!

I own an old bottle of Alba SPF 30, in a bottle that looks just like this. It's a couple years old, and about empty, so I ordered this one.I was so disappointed, because they have changed the ingredients. This one makes my eyes burn HORRIBLY once I get my face wet after applying it. Traditional sunscreen does the same thing, but none of my organic sunscreens, including my old Alba green tea 30, ever had that effect. I won't even be able to use up this bottle because it was so painful. Why did they have to take a great product and make it worse?

I like this product a lot. Nice, mild and pleasant smell. Because I have oily skin, a little goes a *long* way. It comes out of the bottle kind of solid, so before application I suggest squishing it between your fingers this will really allow you to see how far it can spread. Those of us with oily skin definitely want to avoid applying too much of the product in one area. That said, it works well and doesn't make my face as oily as some other moisturizers. This will definitely last me a very long time, too.
I actually keep it in the fridge and it's nice going on cold, it wakes you up and gets you out the door.
I have just recently replaced a 20.00 night cream with this plus some Calendula oil. NICE!

I like this cream a lot. Having tried all possible eye creams, this is the first where I can really see a difference in the morning. You know how you have the fine horizonal wrinkles, and then the vertical ones, from the face smushed in the pillow? Not pretty. This cream somehow strenthens the skin (or puts me to a more restful sleep... I doubt it) so that in the morning I don't actually get those crimpled undereye patches. Great price too. All Terrain KidSport SPF30 Natural Sunscreen Spray Phineas and Ferb
We were so excited to find the All Terrain sunscreen spray on Amazonits hard to find in stores! We read about it on one of the EWG websites and decided to give it a try. It took a while for it to arrive but was really worth the wait. Just spray it on and it rubs right in. It is a little greasy, so make sure to have hand wipes around if you are out and about to clean it off (and don't get it on clothes). My kids are both impatient and very fair-skinned so this was perfect for our hot, sunny, Mid-Atlantic outdoor play. It really does last a long time and did not come off in the pool. Its a bit on the pricy side, but a lot of the "natural" or "organic" sun blocks usually are since they are not as common. The smell is not bad either, kind of neutral.Get it while it lasts since its really, really hard to find in stores...
Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide: 19%

PROS:
It spreads easily and clear.
It does not cake on the skin.
Will not leave dry white patches no matter how much you put. Very forgiving for skin that has dry patches or is peeling from acne medications.
Does not cause or contribute to increased acne.
Helps to spread other dry sunscreens that you might use on your face.
CONS:
It is quite oily, so oily that you can easily wipe it off and you will be unprotected from the sun just as easily.
If you are used to seeing at least a little bit of whiteness as you spread a natural sunscreen, this spreads very oily clear so it is harder to be sure if you are being protected from the sun. Makes me wonder if they are using nano-zinc in this? The bottle label does not state that is non-nano zinc.
The spray of the bottle can get clogged after a while and not function well. Making you have to unscrew the top to pour it out or transfer it to another bottle.
Possible solution for oily face:
What you can do is put this on then put another type of drier sunscreen (the cream version of All Terrain is quite dry) on top to help dry the oily residue and to ensure it stays in place so you are protected while at the same time the oiliness of this sunscreen will help to spread the dry sunscreen.

I decided to try it for my toddler because it is all natural and I thought a spray would be easy. I love that it's natural, no chemicals. The spay makes it easy to apply. It stays on well in water and stays on for a long time. It seems like I don't really need to reapply it very often. I use it on my toddler and myself for swimming. This is the best natural sun screen out there, hands down.It has great ratings on the Skin Deep database and it performs very well.I have tried dozens of other sun screens looking for the best combination of safety (low toxicity in regards to ingredients) and performance.Some of the others I have used have the following problems: leaves you/your child looking either blue or white like a ghost, some are extremely difficult to rub in (can we say Badger? :), others are super greasy and leave loads of residue on your skin, others absorb well but do not perform, and a lot of them don't have a pleasant scent.Well, this is one doesn't have any of those problems.It will leave a little tiny bit of residue (sticky/greasy) but it is very minimal and goes away if you rub it in again in a few minutes after application.Get this sun screen, you won't regret it!

This is a wonderful product. I've sampled myriad hand and body lotions; some smelled good but didn't work, some worked but didn't smell good. If you read the ingredients of this lotion, you may a little disappointed by the company's "All the good stuff, none of the bad stuff" slogan, but I didn't find the contents unduly alarming.
I've tried enough lotions to be a bit jaded about new ones, but I have a soft spot for honey-related ones. So I sampled the tester in a store and was instantly hooked on the fragrance. (Also, the lotion worked nicely!) I was surprised to discover how long the scent lingered; I got compliments on the fragrance over an hour after applying the sample. Oh--and my skin stayed soft. This stuff smells really good. And it seems to do a great job at moisturizing my man skin. The only issue I have and it is not a big issue at all, is that it really stanks. Not in a bad way, but when you rub this stuff on your body you smell of it's aroma very pungently.If they kicked back the strength of the odor 20%, I would give it five stars, but I can deal with the super charged aroma if I must:)

I just do not obtain a tan without using a great lotion...or going to the carribean for a couple of weeks. This lotion has both an intense tingle and triple bronzers and have given me an awesome tan and very silky smooth skin.I often get asked where I went on vacation because my tan looks so great and natural. I tried many lotions and have been disappointed over and over, but I have found the results I have been looking for with this product. I'm normally fair complected. I have also noticed that I tend to hold my color longer with this product. I have been tanning for awhile but when I started using this lotion I noticed right away how much
darker I was getting. To me the tingling is slight and not bothersome but to someone else(who doesn't have

I have been using Trinity 3 now about 4 times a week for the past two months. This is THE BEST lotion i have ever used. I have been an avid tanner for 9 years and have tried over 50 lotions. I am a lotion junkie :) and this lotion has given results that can't even compare to others. The combination of the bronzer and the tingle give a gorgeous dark color after very few uses. The first few times using Trinity 3 i did experience the high tingle power, but after a week or two of using it i don't even feel the tingle, but still get great results.I recommend not showering for 4 hours at least after using this lotion to let the bronzer soak in. That really makes a difference. :) I would HIGHLY recommend this lotion to anyone wanting a serious tan!! :)

I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a good base tan! DO NOT use this as a starter lotion especially if you are just starting tanning for the first time for the season. The 1st time I used it I seen instant results (but over the next few hours I was still seeing a difference)and the tingle action I would rate it about a 6 or 7 if you are new to tingle your skin will feel as if it is crawling and burning. After your body has adjusted to tingle then you will be able to tolerate it. After you have finished putting the lotion on MAKE SURE you wipe the bottom part of your hands off and between your fingers because it will turn your hands a rusty color because of the sunless tanning bronzer that is in it. Sometimes I forget to but within a day or so it has worn off. The only down fall is the after smell because of the sunless tanning bronzer. I do not use this lotion everyday I may use it 1 or 2 times a week and alternate between 2 other lotions one is a tingle and the other is not. You will not regret buying this!i bought a bottle of this based on the reviews. this was my first time using a hot action lotion.. it burns. but it's not excruciating pain, it's tolerable, sort of like a mild sunburn. i love it and now use it on a daily basis. my color has improved immensely in just the 3 days that i've used this. i would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a nice deep color. it doesn't make you look orange. it's awesome. give it a try.
