Now that summer is here, I need to step up my SPF a notch. Normally for everyday use, I use MDSolarSciences SPF 30+ mineral gel, but for prolonged sun exposure the MDSolarSciences SPF 50+ Mineral Screen Gel is really handy. It caresses my skin in the same way as the SPF 30+ gel...ever-so-smooth and water/sweat-resistant. I've recommended it to friends and family. Once you try MDSolarSciences products, there really isn't any going back.

A dermatologist friend of mine recommended this product.It is amazing, one application prevents any burning all day.I would have given 5 stars but this stuff is crazy expensive.On heavy sun exposure days it is worth the $1-2 dollars worth of sunscreen to cover my face, neck and arms but for frequent use this is too expensive.

As a product of the baste and bake '50s era, I've learned to be very careful about protecting my skin from the elements, something made more difficult by occasional Rosacea flare-ups which seem to be my generation's acne.Most of the dermatologist products I've tried have been a disastrous, sticky, shiny mess.Adding a layer of makeup only compounds the problem.NOT SO with MDSolarSciences Mineral Screen Gel SPF 50+.It absorbs instantly and feels weightless.It allows the addition of foundation for a flawless, matte finish which doesn't transfer to one's cell phone (a big problem).My skin feels good with it on all day, and it's easy to remove with wipes along with your makeup.Skin feels good when you remove the product too.It has no medicinal smell...no fragrance at all...and it's about 75% cheaper than Lancome which I also like, just not as much.However, at the end of the day this kind of product must do what it promises -protect from the Sun -and I believe it does.

MDSolarSciences was recommended to me by my dermatologist, because of my skin's sensitivity and tendency to react to certain products.

I live in a bike-friendly city, which is good because I do commute to work on my bike just about every day. But it also means that I'm in the sun quite frequently, sometimes for more than just a couple of hours.

Since I started using the SPF 50+ gel, I haven't had any negative skin reactions from the ingredients. And I've also managed to protect my skin from sunburns. I keep a bottle of it in my backpack for reapplication.

I can safely say that this product meets all of my expectations.

I have tried many different sunblocks and they either felt greasy on my skin or they irritated my eyes, or both. Max Block does neither of these things and it smells good enough to eatjust like banana cream pie. I love this stuff.

2010 Tan Asz U Campus Diva 50x Bronzing Tanning Lotion 13.5 oz.

This tanning lotion has a very mellow perfumy smell not overwhelming nor fruity, talks a lot more about moisture on the bottle than you actually recieve. Moisture level is very subtle but atleast it is not sticky afterwards like some, and the smell is very faint afterwards as well. Did see a little color from one use but not as good as some.

This is THE BEST daily moisturizer I have ever used.I have naturally oily skin and I'm very sun-sensitive.Finding something that I can put on regularly to provide a little SPF while not making me break out has been really difficult.I feel like I've tried them all: regular sunscreens, oil free sunscreens (for face), natural zinc sunblock, SPF 15 to SPF 100+ (seriously).Clinique M Protect is the best of the bunch.

I put it on in the morning right after I shower (and usually reapply a couple times a day).It goes on smooth and soothes my skin on the rare occasion when it feels dry.One thing I really like about it is that it does not have the chemical feel to it like your traditional sunscreen does.It just feels like a light lotion.

So why only four stars?Two reasons: It's slightly shiny, which wouldn't a problem if I had unblemished skin, but I don't.And I wish the SPF was a little higher than 21.

After the final tally is done M Protect gets four stars which puts it safely ahead of anything else out there in my book.

I apply this product everyday before i leave the house and right after the shower.It burns just a little because my face is really dry all the time but it will make you look fresher and it also feels great.

This is the best sun screen i've ever used. This is not greasy like most sun screens, does not leave a film on the face, no smell and has a decent spf count(25)

Although this is for men, i would recommend it for everyone.

I ordered this tanning lotion after I tried a sample at my tanning salon.I had run out of my usual lotion(Black 20X), and wanted to try something new.The lotion works fine at first; however, after two & a half weeks of tanning, I know I was much darker with my other lotion. I read the bottle & realized that it lacks a bronzer. If you are a person who likes the extra oomph of a bronzer, then this is not the lotion for you.

If you not need or want a bronzer, then this is a great lotion!It smells pretty good, and is very rich & creamy going on.My skin feels soft and hydrated after use & it does a good job of masking that "after-tanning" smell.Overall, I would recommend this lotion to anyone who does not do bronzers.:)

This product is purrrrrrrrrrrfect! It's a moisturizer, sunscreen, and gives you a little color all in one package. Relatively speaking, I wear little make-up so this product is perfect for me. I can wash my face in the morning put just a little Dermalogica sheer tint moisture on, apply some mascara, and lip balm and I'm ready for the day.

Dermalogica has created a product that is non-greasy, spf protective, and looks completely natural. So many tinted moisturizers look oily and do not complement my natural complexion. If you've ever struggled with finding a color match with foundation and base I recommend Dermaligica tinted moisturizer. It's not heavy like base and has just enough color to even out your tone. It comes in light, medium, and dark.

I have fair olive colored skin and use the light. If I were to tan I'd probably use the medium but I try to avoid the sun to protect my skin from damage and that pesky skin cancer changed my mind about sunbathing.

I have been on the hunt for a sunscreen for ages, I have tried everything and everything caused me to break out! I put this on because someone gave me it.Boy am I glad they did, because I LOVE IT!! Even the package has changed and does not look like this photo.The sunscreen used to be great but apparently the formula has changed.It used to be smooth but now it is gritty and it scratched my skin also I got freckles for the first time in years after I started using it.I sent it back and had to pay for the return shipping. I am very disappointed because it used to be my favorite sunscreen.Wish I could still get the old kind.

Love the glove application. I put it on at night and shower in the morning, as it does develop that self-tanner smell over time.

The color is great, a nice brown with no orange, but not very dark.The smell is amazing and it does dry fast!Would be 5 stars all the way if not for the poor color level.I like how I look with the color guide on but then it all washes off.

If you want a natural looking tan, this is the way to go! They have a MIT that shows exactly where u miss.. Only downfall is it is messy. I use this everyday and hear at least one compliment on how naturally tan I look and people are shocked I rarely hop in the tanning bed!! The best fake tan ever!!

This is an awesome tanning product. I have used many other tanning lotions but nothing has compared to this. I am instantly dark and don't burn. This product is definitely worth the money. You don't smell burnt afterwards either. I would recommend this product.

I only purchased this because of the steep Amazon discount... I dont particularly care for the Kardashian line of products anyways.This tanning lotion is very dark and not streaky, and enhances your skins tanning ability.You will tan much more easily with this lotion, so don't choose an upper limit time for your first couple lays with this lotion.It smells incredible and when I tan midday, there's no ato, just fruity smelling soft skin.Although I don't like sticking to a single lotion too long, I would definitely make this purchase again.

This is was my first BB cream, and I do like many things about it. Unlike others, I notice almost no jasmine scent? But I do love the sunscreen, and although the color is a bit pale, it doesn't seem like grayed-out like some others I have seen. It's very good for my NC 20 skin in the less-sunny months, and I often wear only this with a bit of concealer, bronzer and lipbalm very clean and fresh looking. Looks completely un-made-up, actually. Caused no skin irritation at all, unlike the Misha I bought the same time, which seems to cause an occasional break-out? Anyway bottom line: will likely re-order this when out.

Bottle was smaller than I expected, but given how little it takes to cover my face, it's a decent trade off.The product itself is great for extremely fair (almost white) people like myself with a pink undertone to their skin.It's very light, doesn't clog my pores, stays on all day and masks old acne scars and freckles wonderfully.I have yet to have a breakout either, which is shocking given my face's normal reaction to makeup.Will buy this again.

The Sanre sunscreen is the best sunscreen I have used in the sense that its organic and nourishes your skin. It smells great, its chemical free and its a sunscreen with organic oils and zinc oxide.

Its SPF 30. Now folks, we actually do not need sunscreen higher than SPF 30-50. In fact its wiser to choose a product within this range. Here is an excerpt from the EWG website -

"Don't be fooled by a label that boasts of high SPF. Anything higher than "SPF 50+" can tempt you to stay in the sun too long, suppressing sunburn but not other kinds of skin damage. FDA says these numbers are misleading. Stick to SPF 15-50+, reapply often and pick a product based on your own skin, time planned outside, shade and cloud cover."

One thing I noted, it may be a little too oily for people who do not have dry skin. I would not recommend this for Oily skin as some of the oils do not penetrate the skin. However, since I have dry skin the oils were instantly absorbed and I could not see a white film on my skin.

Its a convenient small size too and can be carried in your purse for reapplication later. I would recommend this product only for the face and its better to buy another sunscreen for your body. (I bought Loving Naturals from Amazon)

After looking at several different face lotions that the EWG rated as number 1, I decided to go with this one. I use it almost every day and i could not be more pleased. There is a scent to the lotion, especially in the jar, however once applied I did not notice a smell at all. By the end of the day i have noticed that my skin is a bit greasy, however, i have not found a face lotion that does not have that affect. I figured if it was rated so highly by EWG it was a great product but maybe that was for safety only.Despite the previous cautions of causing breakouts, because I have dry skin, I thought I would give this product a shot.Nopeclogged up my pores immediately with little white heads.You would think the consideration for "face cream" would be for the effectiveness of a face cream + SPF.I have such difficulty finding a skin cream that works as a SPF skin cream that has a great safety rating.Or is ranked at all.I think it will be okay on my neck and chest, but it's an expensive product for such limited application.Still looking for that wonderful SPF face cream.So disappointed b/c I thought this line had such promise.I guess I should have been wary when I saw the #1 ingredient....safflower oil.That is a heavy ingredient.

Fiji Samba-Dark Bronzing Dance

It's affordable, it bronzes nicely, and is not too sweet smelling.It smells tropical but not overly so. It does leave the typical tanning smell behind, though, but I've found this true of any bronzing lotion.I also like the squeeze bottle it has a little silicon opening similar to a squeeze-type ketchup bottle which means no gunk on the opening.I would buy this again.

I take an antibiotic to treat severe rheumatoid arthritis and to say it makes me sensitive to the sun would be quite an understatement!Given that I am a professional charter boat captain who spend 8-10 hours a day in the sun for 6 months of the year this adds up to a big problem. Add to that that I am fair skinned and have red hair and you have huge problem!!! So I have used just about every lip sunburn ointment on the market and most of them have not been very effective. Several months ago my lovely wife came home from the drugstore with a product called Solar Sense Clear Zinc. When she showed it to me I said, "Take it back hon I can't stand the taste of zinc sunscreens, they make my mouth taste like metal."

Now it would be impolite to say that my wife more often than not ignores me, and it might make her appear immodest if I were to say that more often than not she feels that she is right and I am WRONG. So, ever the devoted husband, I won't say either of those things. I will, however, say that some weeks later after repeated urging on my wife's part I finally did give this stuff a trial run. Drum roll please.... and Wow! does it ever work well! Better yet, there is no metallic zinc after taste and although it goes on white like other zinc preparations it quickly fades to invisible. I know it's cool to look like a lifeguard muscle wise but I've never bought into the white lips bit.:(

Anyway, Solar Sense Clear Zinc is far and away the best lip sunburn protection I have ever used! Without it I wouldn't have been able to run my boat tours this past summer. And no, I don't own stock in Solar Sense of have any other financial connection with them... though I must say that I am currently giving some thought to buying some stock as their products are that good!

I have fair skin and burn easily also break out from most sunscreen products.After using this product for a few months my skin has improved remarkably.I use this product on a daily basis instead of moisturizer now instead of rosacia I have perfectly clear skin, clear zinc really works.

It's good, but not great about $8-9 for 0.5 oz is too much especially since I really only used it maybe 2-3 applications & it was gone! I also felt pretty greasy with it on.It works well though great sunblock! I tried to also order it in the stick applicator to give that a try but they were discontinued (not sure why it let me order it!) I used it on my face primarily & my hands, a little on my neck & ears but this really is for face only & like I said maybe 2 applications the 3rd time, I was scraping out of it to just put on my forehead, nose, cheekbones used it for outdoor sports.

This product works very well in keeping my nose from burning.I have a very sensitive nose that turns red very easily in the sun, this products gives me the protection I need.And the package is small enough to fit in my purse for when I need it.
