I have extremely fair skin and I burn so bad, I have never found a sunblock that protected this well before. I used it on my honeymoon in Bermuda. I spent hours on the beach (something I have never been able to do before because of my skin) and I literately did not burn at all!!! It was amazing, I will never ever use another product again in my life. This stuff is legit, top quality protection from the sun.
Oh and it goes on nice too, no greasy feeling at all. I put it right over my makeup with no issues at all. LOVE IT

The sunscreening ingredient I mainly recommend avoiding is the synthetic chemical oxybenzone. Oxybenzone is an endocrine disruptor which can affect the nervous system, has been linked to cancer in some laboratory studies, and creates free-radicals when exposed to the sun which are harmful.
retinyl palmitate): Recently the EWG put out their 2010 Sunscreen Guide and with it they made public some information regarding retinyl palmitate and its use in sunscreen. A study done by the FDA revealed it may speed the growth of skin lesions and tumors in lab mice.The study is still in a controversial stage at this point so but its easy to avoid so I have not included any sunscreens containing retinyl patmitate.Item sounds good but these toxic chemicals are in it so after I use the one I purchased, I will find another spray non greasy which does not have the poison in it.
What is strange is that this product is #1 recommended by dermatologist with the bad stuff in it and the helioplex as mentioned by their own site neutrogena.

So they claim that oxybenzone stabilizes the avobenzone. So the question remains how does Oxybenzone which is an endocrine disruptor which can affect the nervous system & has been linked to cancer in some laboratory studies, and creates free-radicals when exposed to the sun which are harmful be beneficial to anyone unless they want free radicals and cancer? As this is a sunblock, it is meant to be exposed to the sun therefore creating free radicals as its an endocrine disruptor and been linked to cancer be benefitial to anyone. Can someone call Neutrogena and ask them? I will do so later and post the results but if you beat me to it, thanks.

I bought this product because I thought that it would be easier to apply than lotion sunscreens. And yes it is easier to apply on your body. You cannot use it on your face directly because of the spray on your eyes, but you can put some on your finger and then apply it. All this application work to discover that the product will never be absorbed or dried out. So, you will be ready to shine as if you were using baby oil for a bodybuilding competition.

I started using this 3 years ago, and it's been my favorite sunblock since.
For SENSITIVE SKIN Coppertone and Banana Boat have both caused me to break out. Neutragena has never ;) My friend's baby was getting either sunburns or developing rashes with several brands of sunscreen that were specified for babies, until they switched to Neutragena.

I first discovered Piz Buin over 25 years ago when I was living in the UK.I bought a tube of it before going on vacation to Israel.The sun in Israel in May was very intense, and even with SPF 8, I didn't burn, and, for the first time in my life, I tanned!I've been using it ever since.The "one-day long" lotion keeps me from burning during tennis, swimming, etc and I really do not need to reapply.I have friends who keep buying it for me in the UK and bringing it home for me, but now I can buy it here!!
