California Baby SPF 30 Plus Sunscreen No Fragrance -- 6 fl oz

We've been using this sunscreen since last summer when I found it listed as one of the 30 approved sunscreens on the EWG's list.I was thrilled when I found that Amazon offered it in a 6 ounce tube as I had been buying the 2.9ounce tubes for some time.With two kids (2 and 4) who need to be coated in sunscreen from nose to toes everyday before they go to preschool, I was glad to find a fragrance-free sunscreen that didn't contain concerning chemicals.It goes on white but will fade out as it gets rubbed in and as it dries.I'll be back to buy more soon!

Honestly, it kills me every time I have to reorder this for my two kids. The price is outrageous. BUT...both my kids have eczema and I am a mom worried about chemicals that would sit on their skin every day for the entire summer. My kids go to daycare and have sunscreen applied twice a day. That's three months of twice daily application of something that I would like to think isn't hurting them. This sunscreen has a good rating from the Environmental Working Group as having less toxins. My son had terrible eczema as a toddler (its milder now). He would have skin breakage on his wrists, inner elbows and inner knees to the point where he was treated with antibiotics several times. This sunscreen NEVER exacerbated his condition. For that, it was worth its weight in gold. My daughter had less sensitive skin so that was less of an issue, but she like my son is very fair. This sunblock has prevented both from getting even the faintest of tans, despite being outside hours each day. My only complaint is that it leaves marks on clothing, car seats, car doors, etc. Small price to pay I guess. Overall, great product. Expensive but worth it.

It is goes on really thick, which can be a challenge, but it stays on a long time even in the water.Our pediatrician compliments us on keeping our daughter out of the sun at each yearly check-up.However, she plays in the sun for hours on most days.We sun block her up with CA Baby in the morning before she heads outside.Unless she swim, I don't usually have to reapply.

I bought this product for my 6 month old for a vacation in Key West.It worked great, he didn't get any sun and the product didn't cause any rashes or irritation.It is more expensive than other sunscreens but is worth it for a safe natural product.A very small amount goes a long way also.

Fast service but the moisturizer appeared very old, thin in texture and not the best scent. I guess I should not expect so much since it was cheap but I won't order it again.

I purchased this lotion to help with the oils that build-up on my skin during the day making my face shiney. I feel it helps a little bit...better than Oil of Olay or any Bare Minerals products I spent too much money on. I do not enjoy the smell, and the lotion itself is watery/thin. I would give it a try if I were you. It may work better for you than it does for me.

It's really difficult to find a moisturizer that is good for oily skin, but also has SPF. This moisturizer is great! I was somewhat surprised about the consistency of the product---it's somewhat runny, with a tan-yellowish tint. However, it goes on clear and provides moisture all day long.

This is a great sunscreen powder that I used over my makeup and on areas of my skin exposed to the sun, overtop a sun lotion so that my skin would have a more "matte" finish.

I used the "all clear" orb.

I loved how it felt and how it made my skin silky smooth. It didn't make me shiny like some sun lotions tend to do, or oily or greasy-looking. It's amazing over makeup as a finishing powder to give your skin extra protection from the sun!

However, there are a couple of issues with this product that prevents me from purchasing it again:

1. It has bismuth oxycholoride, which I'm really sensitive to. I have to make sure it does not directly touch my skin (I wear it over my makeup) or I will get a rash. If you think you are sensitive to bismuth oxychloride, it'd be a really good idea to get a trial-size version of the product and patch test it. I would get itchy if I put it over bare skin.

2. "All Clear"...well, isn't really "all clear". It's great for people who are on the light side of things, like the lightest couple of shades in drugstore makeup, however, I am almost white, so this stuff did make me look too dark. If you think you are extremely light-skinned, once again, get a sample size first and try it out to see how it looks on you before making the plunge and buying the full size.

For these two reasons, I have to take off a star.

All in all, it's a good powdered sunscreen that works well in giving skin extra protection from the sun. However, if you are very sensitive, or extremely pale, it might not be right for you. If you are neither one of those things, then you might really love this stuff.

I loved the Sunforgettable in the miniORB, so I bought this brush to try it since it seemed like a convenient idea.Using the brush, I discovered that most of the sunscreen ended up in the air around me (that I then breathed in and proceeded to cough for a few hours) and very little of it on my face.I much prefer the ORB or the large can as a result.The powdered sunscreen itself is very good and doesn't cause any breakouts (even on my acne-proned face) and provides great sun protection (I'm a dermatologist so this is important of course).The brush is a good idea that fails during implementation though. There is also no good way to clean the brush (the alcohol solution sold on the site doesn't work very well).

I really like this product line. Anthelios comes very highly recommended and since I am doing some bleaching for sun spots I want the most protection I can get. The only negative I can say is that since its very concentrated, your face will be "whiter" after applying this product. The cream itself is not joking that it is fluid, its very fluid. La Roche Posay Anthelios XL Melt-In Cream SPF 50+

I am an avid golfer in California. Everyone who golfs regularly knows a strong sunscreen is a must if you want to protect your skin.

I have used various sunscreens of SPF 30-55. They are from Neutrogena and Coppertone. Although both gave me some sun protection, I felt neither gave me satisfactory results as my skin always became noticeably darker even when I wore ample amounts of SPF 55+ non-Mexoryl Sunscreens.

Then I did some research on the best possible sunscreen and I found it was Mexoryl. It is the supreme sun protectant because it covers the broadest spectrum of UVA, which causes the most of the sunburns. Additionally, Mexoryl's chemical properties are very resilient to the intense radiation of the sun, providing lasting protection.

As soon as FDA approved Mexoryl three years ago ago, I bought Anthelios, which is SPF 60. I have used Anthelios practically everyday, including weekends, in the last 5 weeks. Here is what I have found:

Pros:

1)The sunscreen is very easy on the eyes and doesn't sting as much as other sunscreens. You can safely apply them around your face without the fear of the painful and dreaded sunscreen eye sting.

2)The sunscreen protects you reasonably well, better than any other sunscreen I have tried, but only marginally. This is not a perfect sun protection. Rather, it is just better than its mediocre competitors. Don't expect this product to keep your skin from getting significantly darker.

Cons:

1)This is the most expensive sunscreen I know.

2)The sunscreen feels stickier than most. It leaves somewhat of a greasy feel on your face, but it isn't too bad. It is definitely wearable for daytime activities such as work.

3)This sunscreen is not water or sweat resistent. It comes off very easily under water or perspiration.

Overall, this is a good sunscreen but only marginally better than its much cheaper competitors. I expect the US market will have many more sunscreens with Mexoryl in the near future at more competitive prices.

This is great news that Amazon is caring this product.I have always had to purchase it overseas because it was not available in the United States.I would bring home sunscreen for my children, grandchildren, friends, and myself.This is the very best of the best in sunblock products.Thank you stocking it.

I've been looking for LaRoche Posay's sunsreens high & low, and could only find a moisturizer with SPF 15. This is not a new productit's been available in Europe for a while, but the UVA blocker (Mexoryl)has recently been approved by the FDA. Dermatologists love this stuff! They use it themselves & recommend it to patients.It blocks shorter & longer UVA wavelenghths AND has UVB blocking of SPF 60. This particular formulation goes on as a liquidno greasy feel & no white face... it's made for people like me who normally break out when using sunscreen. I've been using it even though I'm olive-skinned, as I'm on medication which has made me very susceptible to sunburnand, so far, no burn yet, despite being outside watching my daughter play softball in the intense, summer Texas sun. This is good stuff.It lasts a long time and does not leave an oily residue on your skin.It does not stain clothes or other stuff.I especially like the "upside-down" nature of the bottle, which helps you get out every last drop.

I was an ocean lifeguard in the hot sun for 8 hours a day.I used this (SPF 15) everyday for years.

I'll be using this sunblock all summer long for a few reasons after going with the spray variety the last one.The spray has a greasy feel about it that sticks to clothing and leaves an unpleasant film that can all but be peeled off.I found it would often times linger even after scrubbing in the shower.This stuff is polar opposite.It rubs in easily, is very light on the oily skin effect, and does not clump or fight against arm/leg hair (if you're a guy you might appreciate that).I'm of the opinion that the waterproof claims are accurate as I have sweat profusely and swam while using it without having to reapply.I have not burned while using it, even on high index days and it's fine for the face.No lingering film after a shower.Takes a little more time to get a full coating of protection from the sun, but worth it as far as I'm concerned.No more spray can for me, just this stuff all summer long.

I just purchased a large packet of this Coppertone sunscreen from Costco.Our family used it on our recent trip to the Caribbean.You must be aware that this sunscreen WILL STAIN your swimsuit, coverup, or any clothes that you wear with the sunscreen on your skin.My family was so disappointed to have swimsuits, coverups, jackets, jerseys all turn orange.I tried soaking in bleach and I still couldn't get out the stains.I now have over $200 worth of white clothes that are turned orange in spots.

Essential-C Day Moisture SPF30

I have used this product, for which I paid @ $60 for a 2-oz m/l size.The product wonderful scent, easy to use (not runny or thick like some), and insures moisture replenishment as well.The price was great for such a larger size!

I was recommended this SPF in a high end salon, when I got a facial. I have fair skin, and was told my regular SPF 15 wasn't strong enough for my complexion. I was sent home with a couple sample packets, and I was totally hooked. The product does a great job of both hydrating and acting as sun protection. In fact, my skin (even in chilly, dry December!) has never felt better. I bought this shade on a whim at Stop and Shop years ago.And I loved it!Normally very afraid of orange/red lipsticks, I felt comfortable enough because it was mixed with "mocha."The end result was terrific.At least on me, it was mostly mocha, but just a dab of peach just enough to safely say that it was a .."peach tea" sort of lipstick.I've been looking all over for it since and I have not found it anywhere.Thanks again to Amazon.com, I'm buying the set possibly two sets.

Why?The lipstick lasts for hours and hours.It's phenomenal how long it's there, and when it's off, it leaves just the right "trace."

So for the ladies out there who are afraid of peach lipstick, this is a good introduction.

I am ivory/beige skinned.Light brown hair and lightish brown eyes.Make up artists have been assuring me for years that I am a warm, and I believe them, but the wrong color always looks "jarring orange" on me so I gravitate more to berry browns it's safer that way.So believe me, I'm "scared" of peach lipstick.This is very a very calming, mocha peach.Good for just about anything.
