When a few months later I ordered this cream. It was disgusting. The oil had floated to the top. It was obviously really old stock. Had to throw away the jars.

I was very excited about the product as I have dry skin and I was looking for sort of a thick cream to help me during the winter. Well, this cream is thick but not as thick as I would like. It has a "runny" texture and the fragrance is killer. I went to a wedding in summer and I put this on as a moisturizer/base for my foundation and all my cousins were so annoyed of the smell. Another thing is that it clogs pores. I have always had clear skin but ever since I started using this cream, I get a pimple or two every now and then, I also have huge pores now. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Better substitute for me was Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream. I LOVE IT!

I am a big Body Shop fan and got this when it was on sale.However, I really only used it once.I have pretty sensitive skin and this was WAY to abrasive for me. I changed my rating from 5 to 3 because I found that over time my skin began to react to the lotion causing red rashes that would last a few days but then clear. Since I'm prone to skin allergies, I didn't associate it to the product right away as I had started off so well using it daily without any problem for me, I generally get a reaction right away if I have a sensativity to a product so I thought I had hit gold. Though my skin had a good first response to the product, in the end I had to stop using it as well as the face cream version which also caused the same allergic rashing under the eyes. So in general it was ok for occational use, but, in a daily use situation, I had problems with it over time. I can't recommend it anymore for that reason but as I note below, I've had allergic reactions to all the other SPF products as well.This one I had the least reaction to, but in the end, I had a bad reaction from daily use.

I was looking for SPF protection but have skin sensativities and had been allergic to everything I tried previously.My dematologist recomends Eucerin and I use several versions of the product regularly now and find it works better for me then anything else.Eucerin in general, feels a little greasy when it first goes on, but for me after about an hour is absorbed into the skin and is extremely effective in preventing cracking, drying, and irritations. It has NO fragrance added to it, which for me is essential.The SPF protection is a great idea and I was very glad to find this product.I'd recommend it to anyone with sensative skin looking for sun protection.This is light enough to where anytime, all day, going to work, etc., as a daily after shower moisturizer.

I live in Las Vegas, and I have really sensitive skin.I have found this to be a really great product.I was using the Original Eucerin Moisturizing lotion and got this to help protect from the intense Las Vegas sun.I use it every day after I get out of the shower. The first thing that I loved about it is that it goes on super smooth making it really easy to put on and leaving your skin smooth too.Yes it does leave a slight residue, but it is not greasy or unpleasant to me, like I said, it leaves the skin feeling very smooth. Mostly you feel the residue on your hands after you put it on, but it washes off with soap and water.And I have never noticed a residue on my clothes.I haven't had a problem with dry skin since I started using it, which is always a big problem where I live.And it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.There have been times when I have been outside for a couple of hours at a time and it has protected my skin very well.

The only con I have is that when you first put it on it has a slight mediciney smell.But that quickly goes away and I never notice it after I put it on.

So, I find this to be exactly what it says, Every Day Protective Moisturizing Lotion.If you actually planning on being outside for an extensive time, or in the water, I would recommend something more intensive or waterproof.But this is perfect if you never know when or how long you might be outside.I love it.

All Terrain KidSport SPF30 Natural Sunscreen Spray Phineas and Ferb

We were so excited to find the All Terrain sunscreen spray on Amazonits hard to find in stores! We read about it on one of the EWG websites and decided to give it a try. It took a while for it to arrive but was really worth the wait. Just spray it on and it rubs right in. It is a little greasy, so make sure to have hand wipes around if you are out and about to clean it off (and don't get it on clothes). My kids are both impatient and very fair-skinned so this was perfect for our hot, sunny, Mid-Atlantic outdoor play. It really does last a long time and did not come off in the pool. Its a bit on the pricy side, but a lot of the "natural" or "organic" sun blocks usually are since they are not as common. The smell is not bad either, kind of neutral.

Get it while it lasts since its really, really hard to find in stores...

Here is the list of ingredients as it states on the bottle of the sunscreen I have:

Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide: 19%

Inactive Ingredients: Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Gel, Bladderwrack (Fucus Vesiculosus) Extract, Caprylic/capric triglycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus) Extract, d-alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Grapefruit (Citrus Grandis) Seed Extract, Jojoba Oil, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Sea Kelp (Macrocystis Pyrifera)

PROS:

It spreads easily and clear.

It does not cake on the skin.

Will not leave dry white patches no matter how much you put. Very forgiving for skin that has dry patches or is peeling from acne medications.

Does not cause or contribute to increased acne.

Helps to spread other dry sunscreens that you might use on your face.

CONS:

It is quite oily, so oily that you can easily wipe it off and you will be unprotected from the sun just as easily.

If you are used to seeing at least a little bit of whiteness as you spread a natural sunscreen, this spreads very oily clear so it is harder to be sure if you are being protected from the sun. Makes me wonder if they are using nano-zinc in this? The bottle label does not state that is non-nano zinc.

The spray of the bottle can get clogged after a while and not function well. Making you have to unscrew the top to pour it out or transfer it to another bottle.

Possible solution for oily face:

What you can do is put this on then put another type of drier sunscreen (the cream version of All Terrain is quite dry) on top to help dry the oily residue and to ensure it stays in place so you are protected while at the same time the oiliness of this sunscreen will help to spread the dry sunscreen.

I decided to try it for my toddler because it is all natural and I thought a spray would be easy. I love that it's natural, no chemicals. The spay makes it easy to apply. It stays on well in water and stays on for a long time. It seems like I don't really need to reapply it very often. I use it on my toddler and myself for swimming. The only thing I don't absolutely love about it is that it is on the oily side.

This is the best natural sun screen out there, hands down.It has great ratings on the Skin Deep database and it performs very well.I have tried dozens of other sun screens looking for the best combination of safety (low toxicity in regards to ingredients) and performance.Some of the others I have used have the following problems: leaves you/your child looking either blue or white like a ghost, some are extremely difficult to rub in (can we say Badger? :), others are super greasy and leave loads of residue on your skin, others absorb well but do not perform, and a lot of them don't have a pleasant scent.

Well, this is one doesn't have any of those problems.It will leave a little tiny bit of residue (sticky/greasy) but it is very minimal and goes away if you rub it in again in a few minutes after application.Get this sun screen, you won't regret it!

It sprays on in a fine mist, and dries almost immediately to a film that's pretty much unnoticeable. It's waterproof, doesn't feel strange or greasy, and doesn't make my skin break out. Having a spray-on sunscreen seemed like a great idea. Quick, less mess, clean hands. Reality is not so simple, in practice what happens is that a lot it ends up sprayed into the air and floor around you, not on your skin, it's easy to miss spots since you can't see which areas you covered (I ended up with two red knees after the first day at the beach), and it runs out really quickly. I bought this eyecream for my girlfriend, and I thought it's gonna be brand new. However, when I got this eyecream, it was simply put in a paper bag with no box. What's worse, it has stains on the surface, making it looks like a cheap one.

I purchased this product specifically because of the sunscreen and was surprised how many other things it did! Many eye creams claim to do a lot, reduce puffiness-eliminate dark circles-correct lines. Surprisingly this eye cream has helped with most of those issues on my eyes-however none of those issues are advanced on my 20-something skin.

Although there are many vitamins in this cream, it is most likely the caffeine that helped with my lines and the effects are some what short lived. I put this on in the morning to get rid of puffiness and dark circles and it nearly eliminates both for the rest of the day. This is also non-irritating, I have never had an issue using this in and around the eye area and my eyes are very sensitive.

Sunbrushed Tanning Kit

This is a messy, expensive product that yields very temporary results.The application "gloves" rip easily and the tanning product itself stains everything-palms of your hands, countertops, sheets, etc.The tan itself looks good.But it only lasts 2 days.Proceed with caution, kids.

The Sunbrushed Tanning Kit arrived with a little leak due to the design of the jar. It's a very thin liquid and has to be shaken before use, so the solution collects in the lid and leaks out. It makes a mess when you open it, so make sure you open it over a bowl.

Also, I recommend using tight-fitting latex/rubber gloves rather than the loose plastic gloves it comes with. The liquid collects in the folds of the gloves and flips everywhere. With tight gloves, you could use the cloth to wipe off the gloves before applying the solution. Believe me, it's hard to get these stains out.

One more recommendation--fold the cloth so that the seams are rolled up inside. The liquid collects in the seams even after squeezing it out, and creates streaks and drips.

The tan itself is a nice, natural, even color that has so far lasted almost a week. I recommend Sunbrushed for the quality of the tan, but I'd like to see a more functional design so that it's easier to apply and less messy.

I have tried every self tanner out there and this one has one of the most natural looking colors. At first I thought it was going to be hard to put on with the towel. It was a bit messy the first time but then I got the hang of it. The only thing I didn't like was that everytime you tan you have to pour the whole canister in a bowl and soak allot of the tanner up in the towel...it was waseful of the liquid and didn't last too long. This is currently my top pick for sunless tanning.It has sort of a green undertone, so I guess when you mix that with the natural orange in all self tanners, you get a deliciously natural brown.It's seriously the best brown I have ever gotten with any sunless tanner.You apply it with a wash cloth that has been soaked in the product and then wrung out.Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.The washcloth makes it easy to get your back, because you just hang it back there and pull it up.You ALWAYS must wear gloves.And then one at a time, you wipe the back of each hand.Because it has a bronzer in it, you can see your mistakes and rub them in right away.The most common mistake areas with this are around your arm pits.

Because you control it with the cloth, you can do your feet really easily with no mess up.

It make take a couple of practices, but I like it.If I could find something that offered the same color, I'd try it.If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to hear.

I used Nioxin a long time ago when this product was a spray and since they've made it into a foam, I'm not impressed. It makes my hair tacky and I can't style it after I apply it so I don't use it...a big waste of money! I'm using Perfect Image's 3% minoxidil, their DHT shampoo and Genosys 540 micro needle roller and it has changed my life! My hair is getting thicker and stronger...so exciting!

This product allowed me to finally not have to wear a hat whenever I go outside.Previously my scalp would sunburn easily, because my hair is so thin, and then it would flake as the sunburn sloughed off.It's not the greatest for styling, but I'm still able to style it with a blow dryer ok.My stylist thought my hair seemed a touch thicker since starting the Nioxin System 4 plan, but I'm not convinced yet.I still love it just for the sunblock!

While my results may not be achieved by everyone, I still believe that, dollar for dollar, this is a "must have" product to keep on hand.

I have a lot of minor blemishes and the stuff worksbut it takes a lot to feel sufficient when I'm using it. It soaks up quickly. Where I expected to use a small spot, I'm often using 3 or 4 dabs instead. It goes kind of quickly. It's not a bad product at all. The container makes it a litle difficult to travel with though. There's no getting that pump into my carry on luggage...
