I've been using the Nioxin System 4 Scalp Treatment for 4 months.I have noticed considerable hair growth at the hairline (where I wanted it most). It is still not as thick as I would have hoped it to be but will continue to use to see if the thickness improves.I recommend this product if you are willing to be patient to see the results.I also use the System 4 Shampoo, Conditioner, and vitamin supplements.(System 4 is for color treated hair so it does not strip the color out)

I have been using the Nioxin System 3 since the beginning of November and have definitely noticed a difference in my hair. So, in preparation of delivering my third child and knowing the havok that my hair goes through afterward, I bought the Scalp Treatment for System 4. I tried it once and won't use it again. I followed directions properly and styled my hair as usual, but it was a sticky mess. Even after it dried. If I ran a hand or brush through my hair, it felt as if my scalp was going to be ripped off. My hair also felt dry and brittle. With the System 3, my hair has been soft and touchable. For anyone who is interested, stick with the System 3 and just be patient, like I wasn't.

I used Nioxin a long time ago when this product was a spray and since they've made it into a foam, I'm not impressed. It makes my hair tacky and I can't style it after I apply it so I don't use it...a big waste of money! I'm using Perfect Image's 3% minoxidil, their DHT shampoo and Genosys 540 micro needle roller and it has changed my life! My hair is getting thicker and stronger...so exciting!

This product allowed me to finally not have to wear a hat whenever I go outside.Previously my scalp would sunburn easily, because my hair is so thin, and then it would flake as the sunburn sloughed off.It's not the greatest for styling, but I'm still able to style it with a blow dryer ok.My stylist thought my hair seemed a touch thicker since starting the Nioxin System 4 plan, but I'm not convinced yet.I still love it just for the sunblock!
