Clear Essence Advanced Complex Fade Gel 2 oz.

Has been using this product for years and I am pleased with the results. The value is great! The gel in my opinion is much better than the cream version of this.

This gel is terrible. I do not normally have allergic reactions to skin toners, lotions, make-up, soaps, etc. But this gel made my skin stain bright red blotches, irritated, tender and red for a week. And when I called the manufacturer to get a refund, they transferred me to several different departments and customer service representatives, asking me to leave a message explaining the situation, calling me back and playing phone tag for weeks. They did not end up issuing a refund, even though they said they would in a "special exception" after trying to talk me into trading it in for a different product of theirs, and I waited for a check to come. It never did. Use sunscreen as a spot treatment on your scars instead. Do not risk skin irritation with this product.

It's light, non-greasy, doesn't cause any oil build-up, and you only need a little bit for your face.

The only negative thing about it that I would say is that it has a fairly light coverage, so I wouldn't recommended for people who have a lot of acne, blemishes or scars. But other than that, it's perfect for days where you don't want much coverage, or for days where you're not going to go out much.

This is excellent sunscreen that goes on smoothly, and it really works. There is almost no residue after it is applied, and I apply it religiously every morning. As to its anti-aging properties, I can't really comment. I'm 36 and have some sunspots, and they do not seem to be getting worse, but they don't seem to be subsiding either. Bottom line: this is a great sunscreen for everyday use, although it is a bit pricey.

I have oily and acne prone skin, but I understand the need for constant sun protection. It is difficult to find non-acnegenic products that also have a high SPF, and this is one of the few I can use. This does not make my eyes water (unless I am sweeting a lot), and according to the label is approved for up to 80 minutes in water. Even though I have sensitive skin, I am able to use this around the eye area without any issues.

The cream iswhite and non-tinted cream which is not an issue for me, but may be an issue for darker complexions. This also does have the dreaded SPF smell, but is not fragrance free so the scent is not natural. A little goes a long way, but that does not mean it does not need to be re-applied every two to three hours. A little expensive but worth it!

I have fair and sensitive skin, and I got sun burns here, Southern California. For me sun protection of highergrade is a must for me during the Summer time, but some I have tried were too oily, or didn't offer expected protection, or caused irritations.(I have normal skin, sometimes dry). This one works fine, and besides a very nice fragrance, it makes skin looking nice too, kind of dewy, when the others left oily film. I used it for the second Summer, and was very happy with the productwill use it again, worksfine for me.It is more expensive than regular sun protection creams, but I love the quality, to me it is worth the price.

This is the best sunscreen for the face. I have tried many sunlotions and found that with most my face looked like an oily mess. There was no way I could wear sunscreen under my makeup every day. Especially here in Florida where we have very high humidity your face will start to sweat even more under a layer of sunlotion.

Thankfully Blue Lizard is different. The lotion goes on a little thick and gives you a white look for a moment, but if you rub it in carefully the lotion comepletely absorbs. This is a barrier sunscreen with zinc oxide in it.I've used something like it for years that also has a tint in it; that product is a one-step for me because I like the make-up aspect.However, it is much harder to find and obtain.I thought I'd try this to tide me over in between.Turns out I really like this stuff.It is light weight on your skin, and though white, it does absorb into the skin and leaves your natural skin its natural color.I think it actually improves the look of my skin.I add my usual make-up over it sometimes, but I usually feel good to go with just the sunscreen.Also, it goes on dry.The other product I use leaves a shinier finish that I need to pat down with powder, which I don't mind doing and which also looks good, but Blue Lizard is just easier for every day.Plus, I LOVE the name.My one complaint is that the product comes out too fast.It would be fine for body application, when you need more cream, but for the face they really ought to use a smaller opening.Just yesterday I had to take the extra and think of how to save it and wound up putting it into a baggie--quite messy.

My dermatologist recommends this product, as the ingredients are more inert than most other sunscreens on the American market. I use it every day as a moisturizer/sunscreen for my face/neck. However, it does need to be rubbed in thoroughly in order not to leave a ghostly appearance on the skin.

California Tan Aqueous Kiss - Dark Tan Builder

I wanted to love this(I'm a long time CT girl), but it just didn't work for me. I build a base pretty easily even for being so fair skinned, and I usually see a dramatic difference within the first 3-4 sessions using CT lotions without the bronzers. Didn't happen with this one. I also want to point out the fragrance. It wasn't bad, a cool/marine scent, but after using it a while I found it smelled like something that might be better for a man, oh and definitely post-tan smell. Have to mention too, it felt like it sat more on top of the skin...sticky and tacky rather than smooth, didn't really absorb into the skin.I really wanted to try and love this one, but it just didn't make the cut compared to the other CT lotions.

I bought this to start tanning again to build my base and it did exactly that. It was easy to apply and I loved the scent. As for toning and etc I wouldn't say that is the reason I bought it and didn't notice anything (I didn't expect to either). However as Level 1 tan builder it is great and I get lots of compliments on the scent (not heavy perfume just a natural nice smell). I love it and will buy again. I don't use bronzers (I am scared to get into them because of my natural skin tone but I tan nice and dark so don't feel I need the bronzer for my look) so this is why this one was great.

This product is not greasy, and it is easy to rub in. The main problem is that it stings the eyes. If you get too close to the eyes, it really burns. Pros: one tube lasts about 2 months; cream has a very pleasant texture and smell, absorbs well, gentle, causes no irritation, and the price was not to bad (I bought it for 15$ or so, else where it costs about $45).

Cons: the tube made of metal (I personally don't like it); unfortunately, no results or any changes in my skin after 2 months of use (8.5 weeksyou should be able to see at least something if it works).

In general, I like Vichy brand. They make pretty decent products. I like their night cream, but would I buy this cream again? Probably not...Recently I have started Strivectin SD and it works better for me.

This face mostuirizer is very nice. The consistency isn't too thick either which allows it to go on nicely. It also has an okay smell to it too. Like other reviewers have mentioned it is very gradual, but for me I like that so it wasn't a deal breaker. I also like how nice my skin feels after I apply it. It also gives my skin a very nice sheen with a dewy glow. I only use this product every other day so it doesn't get too dark or start to look orange as I have very fair skin.

I have sensitive and pale skin. I liked this tanner as it didn't cause me to break out and is not greasy. However, sometimes it can sting a little and the fragrance is a bit strong at times. Overall, the color is good not too orange, streak free and gradually builds. However, the color is not entirely long lasting and must be applied nearly everyday to keep up a light/medium tan. I haven't found a better self-tanner for face that in oil-free.

The ingredients include:

I live in an area where we have sun 360 days a year. My skin gets a LOT of exposure to the sun! I do a lot of driving and working outside in the sun and it's very difficult to maintain a nice complexion when you have to be in direct sunlight for as long as I am. I've tried a lot of creams with sun protection, however this one is the best. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for! You only need a very small amount! When used in combination with the toner it glides on smoothly and blends in with no problem! The result is my skin retains it's elasticity while not having the annoying darkening that comes with being out in the sun. Banana Boat Kids SPF 50 Family Size Sunscreen Lotion, 12-Fluid Ounce

We go through buckets of sunscreen, and this stuff is great.It's a no-frills sunscreen.Leaves a thick white film, and it's definitely oily.If you're wearing black, it'll leave nasty white stains.However, it also doesn't come off, keeps away sunburns, and comes in an easy to apply pump bottle.It also doesn't seem to irritate sensitive skin.So, it does the job we bought it for.

Both my husband and son applied this product liberally to their skin prior to attending a three hour ball game in the bright April sun. When they came home, both had red faces and slightly burned arms. We had been using Neutrogena's sheer sunblock but it ran out and this was on sale. Neither were burned when they used the Neutrogena sunblock at the ballpark a few weeks ago.

Pros: The pump is easy to use, and this lotion has a slightly milky consistency, which makes it easier to apply. There is no strong sunscreen odor.

Cons: Doesn't seemt to work well, not sure if the formula is perhaps too runny? It contains titanium dioxide which is great for UVB blocking, but it doesn't have much UVA coverage. It also contains parabens and vitamin A, which have potentially hazardous health effects (they are known carcinogenic agents). I don't think I'll be purchasing this again, unless Banana Boat improves/modernizes the formula.
