Gabriel Color LipStick Maple Shimmer

Well I really love both the color and the creamy consistency of this lipstick, which is why I am giving it at least one star .... but after purchasing it I happened to see several research sites saying that Gabriel lipsticks contain LEAD in them. What a drag! While Gabriel's lead levels were apparently not as high as say, Revlon's, they contained enough lead to merit being listed in the study. Frankly, I don't want to be paying for ANY lead in a "healthy" brand of lipstick. Gabriel lipsticks are not cheap; they are an investment one makes in order to not ingest toxins. I feel ripped off. Although one of the online studies I fell upon was analyzing a different shade of Gabriel lipstick, the site did mention that the more "shimmery" colors may have higher lead in general. So be careful, ladies.

This is my favorite lipstick. The color is gorgeous, it stays on very well, the texture is comfortable, and the ingredients are all natural. I wouldn't change a thing.

Australian Gold SPF 30 Spray Gel with Bronzer, 8 Ounce

I am a 25 year old, Caucasian, fair-skinned blonde.I burn unprotected in the sun in 30 minutes during high sunlight times during the afternoon.I have never in my life been able to tan without burning.The back label on this product claims to keep you from tanning or burning, but I was able to get a decently golden tan in the Bahamas, by using this every day according to the instructions.The front label also reads that it has instant bronzer.If I'd seen that before I purchased it, I probably wouldn't have.Turns out, there is nothing bronzing or self-tanning in this product.I applied a skin patch test twice a day for 3 days when I first bought it, just to make sure.(Self tanners always make my skin look orangey.)

I also wore this on my skin while wearing a white bathing suit cover up, and there was no bronze-colored rub-off.The lotion appears shimmery and bronze-ish in the container, but it does not apply to your skin in a way that fulfills any hopes of actual bronzing.I also have fairly oily skin, and this did not make my face break out.I paid $8 at Wal Mart for this, and I'm glad I did.I've recommended this to multiple friends.Another key note is that for the best results, you should follow the instructions on the back label regarding how long before exposure you should apply, and when you should reapply, etc.

My skin is very fare, and it burns easily before it gets any tan. I bought this product for my trip to Hawaii and used it every morning before going to the beach, and then reapplied it as needed and I did not get sunburns! I can never find it in stores in California, but in Hawaii it is sold everywhere. I like the one with the bronzer because it adds beautiful shimmer to the skin. Nothing too shiny, just nice touch of shimmer. The aerosol SPF 30 bronzer also has a cooling effect, but I cannot find it on amazon, unfortunately. Walmart in Hawaii have it, but they are always sold out! I've been using this sunscreen for over 8 years now, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for great sun protection. By the way, it smells great makes you want to reapply it all the time!

Australian Gold HellBent 10x Bronzer Tanning Lotion 11 oz.

I tan at palm beach and I left my lotion at home. I got a packet of hellbent and loved it. I hadn't tanned for 1 1/2 months and the color was great, such a pretty golden natural color. I have tattoo's and they look good so far, but long term I'm not sure. Palm Beach wanted 89 bucks, but i got it on amazon for 28!

Naturally I'm pretty fair skinned, but I do tan well in beds. This is the best lotion I've used, smells awesome, and got my skin very dark, quickly. It does have bronzers in it but it doesn't turn into a fake orangey color, it looks more like a hint of brown like youd get after time at the beach. This lotion has given me such awesome color and does an awesome job of protecting tattoos, I use it with a tattoo stick with 60spf (just to be safe!) The place I tan wanted $70 for this bottle, yikes! Worth it, I'd say, but definitely glad I got it so much cheaper here.

Love the lotion, I thought it would have more bronzer too it tho. Very subtle color change. But smells amazing! The pump however is a huge pain. It rarely works so I just emptied the lotion into a different bottle.

This lotion really helps get you DARK!As far as the tattoo enhancement claims, I can't really tell a difference, but I've had other people ask me if some of my older ink has been freshly touched up.Smells good, keeps my skin soft, & definitely does the trick on getting me golden with only a couple of tanning sessions.I'm naturally fair-skinned, but tan nicely / quickly.This is the best tanning lotion I've tried so far, but I honestly like the majority of Austrailian Gold's products.

Aveeno Sun Hydrosport

I like most Aveeno products, but I think they really messed up on this one.Just like a previous reviewer, my whole family got a sunburn after using this product.We applied it liberally and rubbed it in, but still fried to a crisp.

My husband and I do part-time landscaping work several hours a day, several days a week. We need something that can be applied to even wet skin and on our faces (remember to spray your hands then rub it on your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth use a lip balm with spf... though it'll still taste bitter).We use Aveeno hydrosport spray and it works just fine!This included hot, sweaty, muggy summer days; sudden downpours; and just "work sweat" and dirt.

No sunburns...where the spray was applied that is!My husband is very fair skinned and gets sunburned VERY easily. He missed a spot several times on the back of his neck and it DID get sunburned.

My only problem with this sunblock is that it's a spray... I'd like to have something better for the environment and less likely to waste sunblock while spraying it on.Also, when showering make sure to use some sort of scrub with your body wash, even just a wash cloth, to get this stuff off.When they say waterproof, they mean it!

I bought this sunscreen hoping that it would be great for me and my son's sensitive skin especially if we are playing outside or going swimming.I apply this before we go out as your sposed to and spray it on generously and rub it in, I have also tried not rubbing it in since its a spray and thought hey maybe thats why it didnt work... every single time I have used this I have still gotten a sun burn! We were only out in the sun for a few hours at most and I reapplied it once around every hour!This sunblock is horrible I'm going out to purchase a new sunblock immediately! After using this lotion during a trip to Mexico, I don't want to use anything else.Other lotions irritate my skin but this does not.I even used it on my face when I ran out of facial sunscreen.We applied it before going in the sun, then again after swimming.It can be applied on damp skin without losing its effectiveness.We were in the sun all day, every day, for a week, and did not burn.As a side note, we saw people around us on the beach spraying on different brands of sunscreen.With just a slight breeze, you could see the sunscreen going everywhere EXCEPT on the skin.Stick with a lotion!

This sunscreen worked great on myself and my 4 year old. We both has sensitive skin and burn. So far he has never had a sunburn, but I find it hard to trust a product to protect him. This one worked. I have used Aveeno sprays but I find that most of the spray ends up in the air and on the ground. I switched over to the creme and it worked great. In direct sun, in a pool, and in 90 degree weather, neither one of us was sun burned.

Rain Moisturizer

This is a great moisturizer! I purchased this lotion at my tanning salon when they were having a sale, and I really like it. I tan pretty often during spring/summer, so I need a really good moisturizer during tanning season. I like the fact that this lotion has pigment enhancers to boost your color a little bit. It does a great job of moisturizing, and actuallyhelps you keep your color longer. It also has a nice smell that isn't overpowering; I'm still able to wear my perfumes when using this lotion. The consistency of the lotion is rather thick, but it isn't hard to rub in at all. I use this lotion daily, right after I've showered. Something else that I really love about this lotionit doesn't make me feel even the slightest bit sticky! A lot of lotions I've tried make me feel sticky during the warmer months, and I can't stand that. I'll definitely be buying more of Rain when I run out!

I bought this lotion a few years ago at a local salon. I have used 3 or 4 bottles since then. I love that I can buy this from Amazon and save $$$. The lotion is very moisturizing and has a nice smell. Rain has really helped to extend my tan. I am an experienced tanner and I love Supre products. I've tried a lot of after tan lotions and this one is the best. I will continue to use and buy from Amazon. :)

I purchased Rosaclear from Amazon because it was much cheaper than my Drs. office. Drs. office: $160. Amazon.com:$20. That should have been a clue. I received the product in a timely fashion and it was the exact same thing that I had gotten from my Dr. Upon inspection however, I noticed that it had an expiration date and it had already expired. Now I'm not sure if an expiration date on an unopened product such as sunscreen is relevant, so I kept it and have been using it with no noticeable problems. But it's winter. We'll see when the days become longer and sunnier. The 4 stars are for the product itself. I didn't give 5 stars because I would prefer an SPF 45 instead of 30.

Image Skin Care Daily Defense Matte Moisturizer SPF 30 3.2 oz

Background: 28 years old, Hispanic, olive skin tone (think Jessica Alba), normal to oily skin.

My friend, who was recently training to receive her master's esthetician license, needed dummies to perform facials on while she was in Skincare School. Free facials? That's a no brainer. I was happy to volunteer to get my first lactic peel. The peel was great and afterward the instructor encouraged me to purchase a moisturizer with an SPF of at least 30 (because really bad things can happen to your fresh new skin if you don't protect it). I was running low on Neutrogena anyway and I wanted to support my friend, so I said, sure why not. The school is a distributor of Image products, so I decided to buy the Image Daily Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30. HA! I was so blown away! This moisturizer is BY FAR the BEST moisturizer I have ever used!!! Not only does it reduce the oily look on my skin, my face has stop producing as much oil as before because this product is so hydrating. I didn't realize how horrible my old moisturizer was until I started using this one. My old moisturizers were a JOKE! I used to moisturize, then add foundation and the rest of my make up and by noon you could ski down my face. My face was so oily because the moisturizer I was using wasn't working and my body was trying to compensate for the lack of moisture with more oil. Since I assumed oily skin would forever be mine, I didn't think that I could change moisturizes and have better skin because of it. I'm happy that I did. $30+ is a lot to spend on a moisturizer but to me it is completely worth it. I use the tinted moisturizer (it dries matte so it looks like a light foundation) with some bronzer and I'm good to go! I'm very pleased with Image's product and I'll be staying with them for a long time.

As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, I've always had very oily skin on my face-I use powder paper regularly during the day to press off the shine. Because of that I've never used a moisterizer and only wore sunscreen if I were on a beach vacation or some such--it just felt gross to rub in a cream on my fresh clean face and it usually made my eyes water. But now that I'm in my mid-40's I made a resolution to try to wear sunscreen every day in 2012 (a friend talked me into it). So after trying 2 other oily skin versions (one drugstore variety, one from a dermatologist) and not being particularly thrilled with either one another friend gave me the end of a tube of Image Daily Defense Matte that she'd gotten at a spa and I credit this product for being able to keep my resolution (6+ months and counting)! No negatives--no smell, no eyes watering--and plenty of positive, most importantly that when I wear this stuff my face doesn't shine much if at all. And though it feels kind of tacky/mask-like for the first while, I actually like that (makes my skin feel tighter) and it helps to hold the loose powder I brush on as makeup. I also feel like it tones down redness and smooths overall skintone. FYI, it is a zinc-based sunscreen, so it looks quite white until you rub it in and I tend to have to clean it out of my brows. BTW, I inadvertantly bought the Daily Defense HYDRATING (vs Matte) version on Amazon last time and it's not as good for me--if you're looking for the Matte one for oily skin, make sure you watch which one you order.

I have very oily skin and had to always use oil blotting sheets. After I started using this product I no longer have to blot throughout the day! I never thought I would be able to wear SPF daily b/c of my oily skin, but now I can. It does feel a little sticky at first, but just wait awhile before applying your makeup. Love it!!

For years I searched forthe right day cream with SFP.I tried from cheaper brands to very expensive brands a huge variety of different day creams with SFP 15 to 50. Nothing worked. After a couple of daysmy skin broke out with acne (otherwise very much under control) again and againFinally, I found and tried Image Daily Defense Matte.

i have tried many sunless tanning product, but nothing seemed as cost effective and successful as doing your own spray tanning.when the stuff arrived, it had very minimal directions on how to put it together.A little examining makes it possible.It all came together fine except that the PSI gauge tightens in upside down, so you just have to not mind too much about reading it that way.Aside from those bumps in the road, it produced a great tan.The tanner sometimes looks ultra streaky going on.Having been the first time my poor sister was forced to use an airbrush gun, I thought I was going to look like a zebra, but it came out nice!This is a good product and worth the money.

I've been using this product for almost 5 months, and started noticing a difference after about 2 weeks. I tried a few different Neutrogena products and while I didn't react to any of the others, I also felt oily by the end of the day. I highly recommend this one unless you have sensitive skin!!

Skin Medica Daily Physical Defense SPF30+ Sunscreen, 8 Ounce

I'm used to buying the smaller 3oz. size and it works great, I'm surprised it isn't as popular as others. That aside this too worked great up till halfway down the bottle. It got really watery, it squirted water, no matter how much I shake it. I even tried going in and stirring it with the bottle cap. Unfortunately I spent $45 for half bottle of product. I cant recommend the 8oz. pro size. Maybe its a knock off, but i never had the watery problem with the regular size ...better to stick with the 3oz

I love this sunscreen and use it daily under my foundation.It is not greasy and provides very good coverage.

It sprayed on easily, I didn't have to rub it in, it didn't feel greasy, it didn't smell unpleasant, but most of all I got thru over 3 hours in the Spring Florida sun and got zero tan. Usually one hour unprotected will give me redness, so going three hours with almost no redness was impressive. The only area I applied twice was the tops of my pale white feet which I didn't want to gamble on getting sunburned.

I didn't notice any staining to anything I wore or furniture I sat on, and except for a very slight filmy feeling, really didn't know it was on after the initial wetness subsided. I sprayed it onto a paper towel and patted it on my face, ears and neck and that worked out fine. I debated getting a higher SPF rating, but I'd read that more was overkill and didn't want to risk any possible skin sensitivity.

I'll certainly buy this again for my next trip to Florida.

I can't live without this product, especially in the summer. I play tennis, so I want a foundation that won't run off my face. It goes on smoothly, gives great coverage and somehow manages to appear "sheer." Thanks to this stick. Goes on much easier than comparable brands that you'll find at surf shops, but more importantly, it really keeps the sun off of you. The peace of mind of getting to surf for as long as I like without worrying about getting burnt is worth every penny. Works even better if you apply a liberal base layer of normal sunscreen first, and put the Shisheido on top. Love it.

I am a Caucasian male who lives in the desert. Because of my continual exposure to sun, I have skin damage on the ridge of my nose.
