It's just slightly hard to rub on, but not too bad-and best of all its clear so their faces don't end up looking like ghosts! For me, this product works.I've used it for several years along with the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, 5.1-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3). I also try new products that come on the market, thinking that something else better must be discovered by now, but I always come back to this.

I suffer from cystic acne. When I was in my teens and 20s, I paid fortunes to various dermatologists.Luckily, it hasn't been really bad since my 30s, but it does appear now and again even though I'm teetering on 50.If I use productsmade solely for acne, my face dries up.My cheeks get red and I look like I suffer from rosacea.If I use moisturizers like Olay, Estee Lauder, Murad, (you name it, I've tried it), the cysts come back.I've tried moisturizers that advertise themselves as not supposed to clog pores. I purchased this product because it contained two important proven ingredients for my skin care regimen: Salicylic Acid (to help with mild breakouts) and Retinol (a proven ingredient for anti-aging products).

Recently, I've begun to pay more attention to the amount of key product ingredients thanks to a great website called

Surprisingly, the packaging disclosed the amount of Salicylic Acid (2% pretty standard for OTC products) but nothing for the Retinol. It was on the product ingredient list but without its percentage. Once you start understanding the use of anti-aging products, this is a REALLY important piece of information for anyone purchasing Retinol products. You want to start with a low quantity of Retinol and increase it to get the maximum benefit.

On the box, there was a phone number to call for questions or comments specific to the Neutrogena line of products. I thought this would be an easy and fair question for them to answer: What is the percentage of Retinol in their product? I was really stunned when their customer service representative told me that the information "could not be disclosed". When I inquired why, I was told it would give their competitors "an unfair advantage".

This is utterly ridiculous! If you look at any beauty website that sells products containing Retinol, this information is there for the consumer in the ingredients list. The percentage of Retinol can be anywhere from .15% up to 1.0%. It's imperative to know the amount so you understand which product to start with (the milder ones) and which product to move to next as your skin learns to tolerate the Retinol, thereby increasing results.

I wouldn't recommend buying a product from a company that won't tell you the strength of a critical ingredient like Retinol. There are many other alternatives for the smart consumer.

just received it a few days ago, and I can tell definitely how this is a very powerful cream, I use it as several on here recommended with the neutrogena facewash against acne .

today however approx. day 4 of usage, I noticed my skin feeling a bit dryer and itchy. So I will use the cream only every other day as recommended.

But your skin will feel very good and I believe this is THE creme to use if you have middle age./adult acne

like myself. Tried several other products

will update in a few weeks, but so far definitely will recommend

All the neutrogena are very effective when it comes to anti wrinkle and acne fighting, only draw back if you are prone to have sensitive skin like me, be careful how much you apply, and how often you apply it, otherwise it will really dry your skin out and your skin becomes very itchy.

So make sure to follow the directions, do only apply to the effected area, stay away from anywhere from the eye area, about 1 inch at least, and try it out first and use it every other day or so.

Unlike most or all of the acne products I've tried, this one does NOT dry my skin out. I was told to actually just apply it to my entire face twice a day, by a friend who was into cosmetology. Even with such usage, the thin tube would last me quite a while. And my friends & co-workers & family all noticed a difference :) This is also totally affordable. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it in local stores recently. Good thing Amazon has it :)

I thought this would help minimize some of my lines.I don't have a lot, and they aren't deep, but this seems to emphasize them instead of diminishing.I have been searching for a product that will work for my and I am a raving fan of L'Oreal products just not sure about this one.Could it be that I'm just not applying it correctly ???It is VERY thick and the brush that comes with it isn't as effective as fingertips.If someone from L'Oreal could let me know how to use this correctly, I probably would give it a "I love it" rating...

All I have to add to early comments are a few words on water resistance. The standard Blue Lizard formula advertises it is water resistant for 240 minutes. This stuff is not, even though I see the same claim made for it on some web sites. Chemical sunscreens, which are in the standard Blue Lizard, are absorbed into the skin, which makes them morewater resistant. The ingredients in Baby, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, sit on top of the skin and are more easily washed off. I sent a note to the Blue Lizard people who confirmed this. So be careful about reapplying this more frequently if you or your kids get wet. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way with our 8-year-old.

Even though normally I'dhate paying this much for a bottle of sunscreen, with this product it's worth it. My daughter has a terribly sensitive skin; she can't go without sunscreen, but she also has a bad reaction to most types I've tried this summer except for this one. I've tried it on our pediatrician's recommendation, and so far, it works just great.

Reading a review from the smaller bottle it mentioned that there are parabens listed in the ingredients event though the product is listed as chemical free. I called the company directly and they said parabens were taken out of their ingredients a year ago. This product does list the parabens so this must be an old bottle. My wife and I tried this product yesterday and were very pleased with it, it smells okay, and feels okay, though this is my first experience with a spray on sunscreen.

I am tragically Irish, and burn in minutes most days, I go directly from ghost white, to red, to deathly pallor again, skipping the desirable tan step in between, but with this product I got a subtle but noticeable tan right away, not creepy orange, or something too dark.

I laid out for about an hour with my wife, and then we hit the golf course without me lathering on a handful of 30spf like I usually do, today I am not burnt, and there is this unusually awesome tan tint to my skin! Brilliant!

We will be buying this again.

I bought this in Newport, RI as I was running out of my other spray on sunscreen. I was so excited to see Australian Gold makes a spray sunscreen. This product smells really good, like other AG products, and it doesn't leave a film on your skin at the end of the day. I also don't have a problem washing it off. The bronzer isn't too much, if you have a bit of a tan, you will barely see it--it's not scary orange or instant tan bronzer. I really like this product a lot.

When you spray it, it is very dry and burns if you just shaved.It has alcohol in it, it doesn't bronze very well and you definitely don't get enough time to rub it in.Didn't like it at all.

I bought this as a result of some recent published reviews on organic sunscreens.It was rated well and I liked the thought of the ingredients being organic since it was going on my baby's skin.But I found a number of issues: 1) Not all the ingredients are organic.2) Although there is no added fragrance, it has a STRONG cocoa butter smell to it which I don't find appealing.3) It was thick and a hard to apply evenly to a squirming seven month old.4)After being out in only high 70's heat for 15 minutes, the cream was puddling up in the creases of my daughter's little arms.5) After having it on *my* face for 15 minutes I wanted to wash it off I felt so oily.And finally, the next morning after our 30 minute outing with the sunscreen on her face and a hat on her head, my daughter had freckles across her cheeks where before there were none.Therefore I do not recommend it.

Highly rated for UVA A/B protection, reasonably priced (similar products sell for 3-4 times as much) and does not use oxybenzone or Vitamin A (FDA has stated increased risk of skin cancer from use of vitamin A which makes its use in sunscreens highly unethical even for US cosmetics companies).

Other brands I have used were more readily absorbed but that is not in itself a good thing. Next time I go to Europe I will stock up on the products available there that are safer and up to 5 times more effective at providing UV A/B than the ingredients used in the sunscreen products sold in the USA.

I've only used this sunscreen a couple times.It was very highly recommended as safe and effective against both UVA and UCB rays.As far as I can determine, the product performs as advertised.

If you don't rub it in well, your skin will be white.

I was disappointed that a small 2.9 ounce tube cost me more than $15.

California Tan Instant Sunless Spray - Dark Bronzing Spray

This is the best tan in a can I've come across. I used to use this brand's tanning lotion and loved it. The spray comes out quick but evenly, which is nice because if you're doing your whole body it takes like 3 minutes! The color is similar to a spray tan at the salon, so not a super fake/orange color. Also lasts just as long if not longer than a spray tan from the salon. It also smells really good! I would recommend this product over other brands!

This is about the 6th spray on tanner I've used. Out of everything i've tried this one produces the most realistic tan I've seen though. Lots of bang for the buck too ie more DHA. Plus, it has little to no tanner smell. Lastly, i'm not crazy for the bronzer in the product. Wish they came out with a bronzer free version just because it gets a little messy. However, at least it too comes out looking natural.

I used to both recieve and give air brush tans with the california tan solution and I loved it and all of my clients loved it. So I ordered this thinking it would save some money but this product does not spray evenly at all. Sometimes it spits solution in splotches. It's also VERY messy. I had to wash my WHOLE bathroom after using this. Including walls. I even put down two towels first. I ended up hopping in the shower right after putting it on. And the one full body application took almost the whole bottle. I won't be getting this again. I'm just going to continue paying extra for the airbrush tans.

I will say that the solution is the same as the one we used in the spa though. The distribution just sucks really bad haha.

This spray goes on evenly and will give you an immediate bronze glow which progresses over a few hours after application. What I love most about this product is that is smells greatit does not have that typical "spray tan" scent that is associated with most other products. I bought the whole line of Truth products, based on a sample I had and loved instantly. This is no exception. I use this on my face and neck on a daily basis in summer and it's wonderful. The smell is fantastic, not chemical or masking, just clean. It's light and oil free and I don't get greasy or have breakouts. I love that its paraben free. It's gentle but I feel protected. It blends and is absorbed easily, without a 'white face' look. I usually use a light dusting of powder over it(in lieu of foundation) and am good for the day, plus some eye liner, mascara, blush and lipgloss. I'm usually thrifty about SPF but I'll spend the money on this line.

Even though this was recommended to me as a good sunscreen for my oily/combination and sensitive skin, it made my skin more oily AND--more disappointingly--made my skin red and irritated.The formula has chemical sunscreens and I've learned that apparently "physical" sunscreens are better for folks like me with sensitive skin.
