I am a very fair-skinned blonde, and purchased this to help me prevent sunburn, as I am a bike rider and outside a great deal. The sensor does not seem to respond to changes in light intensity, and even when I would stop and reset it to a brighter light, it still allowed HOURS of sun exposure. Plus, if you leave it on and then put it in a dark place, eventually the alarm goes off. I did not see any evidence that the light sensor functioned at all after the initial setting. It did not alert me to excessive sun exposure--it allows far too much time in the sun.

On another note, the belt clip is an inadequate attachment for any sport that involves riding over bumps, jostling, etc. It is convenient, but a more positive attachment is needed.

Back to the disposable strips, I guess.

This is a little gem.I used it all summer.Remarkably, when set to my skin type and periodically (semi-automatically) readjusted for sun intensity, the time ran out just before I would feel the tightness in my skin from sun exposure.The first summer ever without a single minor burn.Recommend it?YES!!!!

We bought 2 Hawk meters and tested them against scientific instruments. The two meters read very differently, and both underestimated the amount of ultraviolet radiation present. The meters are too inaccurate and variable for what we had hoped to use them for.

I had bought this for a science fair project.It's small and seems accurate and works perfectly to fit our needs.Interestingly, even though I bought it for school, we will probably use it again in the future to determine the need for sunscreen, especially when we are going out for the day.It is easy to use and carry.

Was looking for a detangler that didn't contain any Propylene glycol, as most of the grooming sprays out there contain Propylene glycol and it is the equivalent of paint thiner.. It does serious damage to your dogs skin and probably doesn't do the rest of him any good either... So when I researched Mink Oil I was really eager to try it out based on it's ingredients.. It is awesome!! It really helps with knots.. It's not perfumed but it has a good smell,and it leaves my soft coated Irish Wheaten Terrier softer and silkier than Anything that I have ever felt... And it's good for his coat as well as his skin. Win win!

This spray has a very strong artificial/perfume-like smell. It makes me wonder about the ingredient list I found online and other reviewer's comment about this product having ingredients. The bottle I received doesn't have an ingredient list. I would not want my dog to lick this off of his coat because it certainly doesn't smell natural.

It did seem to condition my dog's coat, but I have since tried other products (mostly argan oil) that work well without leaving my dog smelling like he uses perfume. If you want a perfume for your dog, this might work well.

We have found that we quite like the Mink Oil Spray for our Newfie, as well as for our shepherd.Our only complaint on this product would be that the first shipment of it went to some place in New York state (which was extremely inconvenient and not very effective for us).When I tracked the order, however, and discovered this state of affairs I immediately alerted Amazon and, thereby, the seller, and they shipped another bottle ASAP.

When we finally did receive the product, we were extremely pleased with its effect on the dogs' hair and were pleased as well with its very pleasant fragrance.Some folks said that it seemed to repel ticks, though the manufacturers never made that claim. We haven't found it serves as a repellant. It is an excellent product for exactly the purposes it is sold to address. All is good.

I use this moisturizer everyday now. I notice my skin is less oily, and when I use this product it leaves a nice soft smooth feeling to my skin. I would definitely recommend this product to those with oily/combination skin. Also for those who are worried that this product will clog pores and cause acne, I have notice in my own skin that it is actually reducing my acne. Maybe it's the oil absorbing parts to this lotion, but I think as long as you use a facial cleanser and a toner this will complement your skin regime well.

This lotion does a decent job of moisturizing, but it doesn't absorb very well and no matter how much I try to rub it in there's always a thin pale layer on the surface of my skin -not attractive!My bigger issue with this product, however, is its sickly-sweet odor. I don't normally mind scented lotions, but this stuff just smells terrible. For the price there are definitely more effective, less stinky moisturizers out there.

As I've gotten older I've noticed that my lips have gotten a lot darker, so I wanted to try and protect them as much as I could. Even though I don't lick my lips or anything, I still end up getting some of it in my mouth and it tastes terrible. It is also very, very white. Unfortunately I don't think that you're ever going to be able to find a sunscreen lip product that isn't gross. Anything that is easy to wear probably just does not contain enough sunscreen. So with that caveat: the product itself works. You just may not want to use it for everyday.

I love this moisturizer, wearing it every single day and sometimes at night. It is the lightest SPF moisturizer I have found; in fact it just makes my skin feel healthy and moist, not like I have a layer of lotion on. Absolutely non-greasy, and with nothing to bother even the most sensitive skin, it's the perfect daily moisturizer. It now has antioxidant vitamins E & C as well. I'm a huge fan of all the Olay moisturizers. My mother has worn them for 30+ years and has the skin of someone 10 years her junior. She started before the SPF was introduced, so I'm hoping for even better results. I've tried more expensive department store brands, but I always come back to this relatively inexpensive tried-and-true formula.

Give it 2-3weeks and I gaurentee you will be glad you tried it, it is light and thirst quenching on the skin and seems to cover a multitued of tasks, you will not need seperate creams for eyes etc. My tip is to use it a s a night and day cream after gentle washing and exfoliaiting the face. By night put slighty too much on so as the skin has to slowly drink it in.

You really will see a plumpness and radiance to your face in this space of time. This stuff is not bank breakingly expensive either.

Since I've turned 20, I have had problems with blemishes. So, for the last few years, I began to try many different face cleansers and lotions to solve the problem, and finally stumbled upon this one. It's lightweight and definitely moisturizes just enough. I never feel like my face is oily or greasy. My blemishes haven't completely gone away, but ever since I began using this lotion, my skin has been noticeably clearer. I assume it's because it doesn't clog my pores like my old lotion must have. The only complaint I have is about the bottle. When you squeeze it, you either get no lotion, or the lotion explodes everywhere. I wish they would put a pump on the bottle or something, so that I wouldn't be wasting so much lotion when I barely squeeze it and it all comes flying out.

This isn't a revolutionary product, but I wasn't looking for one.It is simply a creamy eyeliner.It goes on easy.It's the type of mechanical pencil that you twist to raise the product up.It's very fine, so easy to apply in a thin line or build up for a heavier look.The color is great for green and hazel green eyes.I use the coordinating mascara and get lots of compliments.It does tend to melt off after awhile, but I live in a *very* humid climate.I have not purchased this from Amazon, so I can not speak to the other reviewers issue with only receiving one vs two.

I used the Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Repair, 24 hour Eye Repair Duo for 8 weeks now. I took close up pictures of my eyes and face before I started and then again yesterday. What a difference it has made. I like how easy it is to use and the double sided cap for AM and PM sides. I liked the consistency and it has a light scent. Great product.Cool are tone are excellent.The only issue I have is that it makes me smell a bit like graham crackers.Not the worst fate, but an issue if I'm going out with a girl who isn't hungry.Usually I try to mask it with cologne.

I think this tanner is pretty good, I would buy it again. It works well even on fair skin. Only problem is if you dont rub it in really well, it turns brown, dirty looking. But other wise I like it. One application will last me 2 or 3 days and It doesn't irritate that skin on my face.
