I purchased this lotion as part of my make-up "make-over," and an attempt to rid my cabinets of products that contain parabens, pthalates, and other unnatural ingredients.I wasn't displeased with this product, and would probably still be using it if I hadn't had problems with the packaging.I don't think I'd had it more than a month when the bottle cracked open as I was squeezing it ruining the whole bottle.I ended up buying something different Vitamin C Moisture Plus Lotion with SPF 15 4 oz from Avalon Organics.I like the Avalon product much better because it has a nice orange-y scent (the BWC lotion has no fragrance at all, which might be a plus to lots of shoppers).

I felt this product was a good facial sunblock, but it wasn't what I hoped it would be.I was looking for a daily moisturizer that contains sunblock.This product smells like sunblock and acts like it too.

After wearing it outdoors I felt the need to clean my face off since dirt seemed to be catching in it.This stuff sat on my skin, just like cheap sunblock.I had higher hopes for this Aveeno product.

I used this product for the first time last night. It makes my skin soft and feels fresh. It is different than what I am used to because of the thickness of the cream. I have eczema on my face that I can't even get rid of with medication...but it seems to be soothing that. So I think I will keep using it.

It's supposed to be a daily moisturizer and sunscreen (30 spf I think it was?), and it also has a light scent that I'm not really sure how to describe but smells nice! :D

The moisture makes my face feel very smooth and the sunscreen works good enough for me without feeling all thick and pancakey, I would know it works cause I burn easily but not with this stuff on and I have an oily face so it's hard to find stuff that isn't pancakey.

I love this moisturizer. I'm excited to have found a cheaper alternative to my Dermalogica Smoothing Cream which can get fairly expensive. As an added bonus, this product contains an SPF of 30, which my previous moisturizer didn't. Yes, there is a fragrance to it. It's a fresh/clean scent, which may bother some who are sensitive but I found it quite pleasant. It's a THICK moisturizer. I have combination/dry skin and it works well for me. I use less than half a pump (I'm assuming I use about a 1/3 to a 1/4 of a pump) for my face and the container is large so I'm sure it'll last a long time.

i like this stuff. i have a new half sleeve on my forearm with a lot of color. in the past ive used spf100 neutragena on tattoos but it leaves your tat looking dull. i still use the spf 100 if im at the beach because then who cares what your tat looks like, but for everyday use i go with this stuff. it smells good, and you only need a tiny bit to cover a large area. i can cover my whole forearm with about the size of a nickel worht of lotion. this stuff gives your tattoo a nice shine similar to when you first get your tat and you have the aquafor/a&d ointment on it. it really does seem to make the blacks blacker and the colors stand out more. also i apply this once before work and it still looks good 8 hours later. the only downside is that it does leave a bit of a greasy feel, but to me its worth it for the fact that it makes your tattoo stand out.

I'm in my 30s and have 2 children, during both pregnancies I developed those ugly brown spots on my cheeks and around my eyes (not really Melasma known as the mask of pregnancy, they are more just scattered brown sun spots).I worked in Dermatology for 7 years as an assistant, so I am very aware these are brought out by the sun, however, even with wearing a daily SPF and avoiding sun (and it was winter) I still developed them.

They have seemed to age me and make me look tired all the time since they are so close to my eyes, I simply hated looking in the mirror. I tried 2 different prescription samples I had from my dermatology days, and didn't make one difference. I bought the very pricey Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector and while that felt and smelled fabulous on my skin, after the bottle was gone 2 1/2 months later...no change.I was in a very well known store (think "Bullseye" :)and saw this for under $5, I thought, what the heck, if it doesn't work, at least it is one of the cheaper things I have tried.

I have been using it consistantly 2 x a day for 3 weeks now, and WOW! I'm very pleasantly surprised at the changes already!I will admit, I do not care for the smell, but since the product works and the smell only lasts a few seconds when you put it on, I will cont. using it.It makes my skin feel soft and the dark spots have faded dramatically!One side of my face, they are almost even invisible, while the darker side which botherd me more, has faded so much that I barely have to bother with make up on it any more. I sure wish I would have spotted this stuff sooner.

Don't forget to always wear sunscreen (SPF 15 at least in your lotion and makeup EVERYDAY!) and then heavier kinds if you are outdoors to avoid these ugly spots from recurring.

I'm interested to see if the spots fade until they are all gone or if this is the best they will get; time will tell.

Excellent for clearing up post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. I'm fair skinned (very very pale), so I scar easily. With trouble combination skin, acne, age, etc...this has been a problem I've dealt with for years, nearly decades. The problem with cystic acne is you can develop post inflammatory hyper pigmentation, which in simple terms are those dark splotchy purple/red spots that linger for months as it heals, sometimes even permanently scarring the area. And if you are older than your usual acne sufferer (ie a teenager), it takes even longer for them to go away because of the time it takes for collagen & elastin to be produced in the body. They are unsightly & seem to take forever to go away, especially if you get multiple flare ups of acne atop the same spot. Well, I finally managed to get the acne under control & decided I needed to get a product that could help clear up the dark marks left over on my cheeks. I've seen dermatologists multiple times for both acne & scarring, & although they are very capable, at times their remedies are costly. I needed something affordable and effective. I happened across this product amidst researched reviews & reports. It was priced affordably and seemed to have majority positive reviews on various sites. I did buy this elsewhere in a single tube to try it first, before investing in a multi-pack. There are two kinds: normal & oily skin. I got the one for normal, though perhaps I should have considered for oily, as it will moisturize the sites in which you apply it. But I've not broken out because of it thus far. I've used it for about a week now, apply twice a day as it recommends. I wash my face, treat it for acne, apply this (ONLY to the sites of discoloration), & top it off with sunblock. I wear sunblock anyway, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you wear it, especially when using this product. It works by inhibiting the production of melanin in the skin, within the site of application. Not using sunscreen/block, allows the spots to return once you have finishing using Ambi, because the skin's melanin is what makes us tan & freckle; protecting & reacting to the sun's rays. Thus, this will make you more photo sensitive to the sun for a while. It does have it's own sunscreen mixed in, but you should really be mindful of your skin (the largest organ of your body) & wear sunscreen everyday. & don't trust the ones only in your make up. It degrades over time & tends to be a low spf. I digress, in the short amount of time, Ambi has managed not to break me out further & the areas of extreme discoloration have already improved by 50%. I'm extremely please with the results. The majority of dark purple contrast has faded to a light pink or pale red. This type of result would have taken me weeks without assistance. Ambi recommends you use it for about 3 months & discontinue use thereafter. I would theorize that my spots will diminish adequately long before then. Remember, there is no magic cure or youth potion, but if you take care of your skin when you are in your teens & early 20's (avoiding excessive sun, wearing sunscreen, handling acne, etc...) you'll be much better off in the long run. And if you are going to use ANY lightening cream, be mindful that you are going to be more photosensitive afterwords; wear sunscreen.

I had really high hopes for this product but was totally disappointed. When I first applied it to my face, it was incredibly oily and did not absorb into my skin. I left it thinking that eventually it would go in but it was so greasy that I eventually had to wash it off. It actually clogged my pores and made me break out. Besides being animal friendly, this sunscreen is awesome! It's consistency is light and it soaks into the skin. My skin is very prone to severe cystic acne and so far this has not broken me out. Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 Lemon & Chamomile

I've tried all 3 Jack Black Lip Therapy flavors now (Mint, Lemon Chamomile, and Lavender Vanilla) and I think the best is the Lavender Vanilla.The Mint is very cooling to the point where it numbs your lips, which can be very irritating.The Lemon Chamomile has a sickly sweet taste, it smells and tastes like bubble gum or birthday cake.It doesn't taste like lemons at all, like another reviewer had commented, it tastes like cake.It's sort of disgusting, because you expect it to taste like lemons, not cake.

That being said, this is FABULOUS lip balm.I get terrible cracked dry lips, and this stuff makes them nice and soft.I love this stuff, but I really recommend getting in lavender vanilla.

The intense natural mint is very cooling and soothing. A fresh burst that really refreshes my mental focus during the day. The strong mint is about on par with the minty strength of Burt's Bee's original stick. But it's not overly pepperminty (which I find Burt's Bees too strong).Do not get this if you don't love mint!

Nice thick texture feels great and stays put. Deeply moisturizing and protective. Not super glossy. But no mattifying ingredients either.

I know this is expensive but it is so so so worth every penny.

I ended up buying what was left in a sample bottle off my friend who owns a salon when the lotion I ordered from her was late coming in.

This lotion has a great smell slight mango scent but more heady woods, like a good perfume.

I have used California Tan products approximately 12 years ago when they just had one simple "Butter" lotion. So, this grown up version with steps intrigued me as I remember LOVING Butter when it came out. Same great smell and wonderful skin nourishing properties.

However, the designer skin products pack alot more bronzers for those wishing for quick results. With that said, this gets you to the darkness of those quick acting bronzers but with more natural looking results in a bit longer time.

The smell of this is banana dacqari, per the company description, (better than that said my hubby) and for those who HATE after-tan smell will enjoy the same wonderful smell afterward (even on the higher level beds). I think it smells like a slightly tropical shea butter. The feel is like a thick shea butter lotion that does require the few extra moments to truely rub in to the skin. Afterward your skin feels lush. This isn't like the silicone feel of some lotions that give you the smoothness one might be used to. It's more of a drenched, clean and soft skin touch. Clean enough that I can go to work, the gym, bed, etc without leaving stains on my bra or sheets.
