I was using a different brand sunscreen, but it was making my sons eyes all red when it got in his eyes. So I went looking for a no sting etc lotion and found this one. I read all the reviews and this seemed to be the best one. It does not sting or make his eyes red. The stuff is okay...it is basically Desitin with Calamine lotion.Therein lies the problem.If you get this on your clothes, as they say in Jersey, "Fuggedabout it," because it isn't coming out.The company says Clorox 2 will help get it out but it simply doesn't work.While the stuff is cheap it isn't worth sacrificing clothes over--that is expensive!
I tried this product and found it way too drying.Combined this product with A&D ointment and it was a bit better; but not something I would purchase again.

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream, Light and medium, 2.5 Fluid Ounce
For around the same price, you can get a good-quality Korean BB Cream that is better both in value and quality. I would really rate this a 3.5/5, but decided to be reaaally generous and round up--for a cheap drugstore item, it's not too bad.Here's why I don't love it:
-GREASY: Even if you have dry skin, you'll just look greasy until it dries (which takes forever). I hate when hair sticks to my face. A finishing powder would be great, but the point of me using this was not to wear more product.
-NOT GOOD FOR SKIN: I'd call this a tinted moisturizer, **NOT** a BB cream. For a couple weeks, this was the only thing I used on my face except for moisturizer. The texture/quality of my skin got worse--something that wouldn't necessarily happen with a true BB cream unless you were allergic to something. This never happened with my Skin79 BB cream. It's not like there's any regulation on what companies can call a BB cream; I mean, Garnier could come out with a face scrub and slap on the label "BB Cream".
-EMPHASIZES LINES: If you can't tell from the pics I posted, my hands are pretty wrinkly up close--this emphasized all the lines. I'm young so my face doesn't have wrinkles, but if it did I would definitely not use this.
-LOOKS CAKEY: I have a few small bumps on my skin, and some patches of dryness--this just looked really bad over them. That being said, it's not noticeable unless you look at my face from like a foot away.
-FEELS CHALKY: Not the same as looking chalky--this isn't something many people would have a complaint with. You know how most cheap sunscreens and some 'moisturizers' don't quench dry skin, so even if it's wet it feels chalky? This is just like that.
Here are some rewarding properties:
-NO YELLOW UNDERTONES: These aren't made specifically for Asian skin.
-GREAT COVERAGE: Especially for a tinted moisturizer, the coverage is pretty great.
-FEELS LIGHT: I can feel when there's product all over my face, and it feels uncomfortable--that's why I don't use liquid foundation. This stuff feels very light.
-CHEAP: Hey, thirteen bucks isn't bad.
-SPF 15: If you don't wear sunscreen on your face, you'll have some sort of UV protection.
-NOT THE WORST: Ehh, it's not a bad product. It's cheap, covers your skin, isn't super heavy, has sunscreen, etc. But I would never describe this as "great" or "amazing" or "perfect".
Just a warning--I have medium skin and this fit me perfectly, so I would NOT recommend this for light skin.
If you have pale skin without intensely pink undertones: get a Skin79 or other Korean BB cream (they have different formulas for different concerns)--they feel amazing.
If you have more money to spend: Dr. Jart has great BB creams. Apparently the Too Faced one has good coverage.
If you have medium skin and don't want to spend a lot on the BB cream fad: This is a decent alternative, but L'oreal and Maybelline are also coming out with 'BB creams'--you could try those as well.
Being medium-skinned, my 'Oriental Gold' Skin79 cream didn't match my skin well (but feels amazing! I mix it w/moisturizer so it's not as light). This Garnier Fructis product perfectly matched my skin tone as well as my sister's (who is a few shades lighter), but the quality was somewhat inferior.
(note: I don't think GF ever made any reference to this *improving* your actual skin, which is what real BB creams do--it just says it 'instantly improves' when you put it on, which any foundation will do. careful wording!)
Pros:
Relatively Cheap & Generous amount
Available in deeper skin colors than traditional BB creams (Huge plus)
Readily available at most/major drugstores/walmart/target (No shipping!)
Silky texture going on, blends nicely
Cons:
Greasy/Suncreen-y look (I was shiny all day)
No skin improvement (I actually broke out a little)
Wipes off easily (I hadn't noticed this with other BB creams)
Cakey & does not leave skin looking "perfect" or Improved in any way. ( I could see all my wrinkles & pores)

This is a great product for people with dry skin.In recent years my skin has changed and become DRY. After makeup application I looked pasty! I'm glad I found this BB cream No more pasty looking skin Alleluia! Used with a bit of concealer this product gives me an even, moist looking finish.
APPLICATION:
I put some product on the back of my hand. I dip a "stipple brush" evenly & LIGHTLY into the product. I "stipple" (dot) it on my skin, let it dry and then buff it a bit (you can use whatever method you like to apply it.)I am VERY happy with the natural looking results AND the SPF protection.
COLOR/Scent:
I have light olive skin and I use the medium-deep. Pleasant scent is so light, it's barely there.

Isononyl Isononanoate:
A skin conditioning emollient that leaves a silky feeling on the skin.
Isohexadecane:
High purity. Although it is colorless & odorless it creates a very creamy, thick formula. However, for all of its rich texture, it leaves a non-greasy, light and silky feeling on the skin.
Linalool:
A component of many essential oils, including orange, lavender, rose, rosewood, and coriander. (Isn't that awesome?)
Cetyl palmitate:
A naturally occurring fatty acid.
Limonene:
A scent ingredient and solvent naturally ocurring in the rind of citrus fruit.

God bless :)At first I really liked this product. It felt really smooth and creamy, and I liked the way it applied to my skin. After a few hours, however, it seemed to oxidize and turn a bit orangey (I am quite fair so this may not be a problem for everyone). I also have pretty clear skin given I keep up with my cleansing routine, but this stuff broke me out. I used it 3 times, 3 days in a row, for only half a day each time, because after a few hours my skin became so heavy and oily feeling that I had to wash it off. I began to break out after the second day of using this product. It's been about a week since I stopped using it and the break out is almost completely gone. I would not recommend this to anyone, and I've heard it's a joke compared to real BB creams.I have to say I was somewhat skeptical, okay, really skeptical, about this BB Cream obsession.But, nevertheless, being the beauty product junky I am, I had to try it.I went with the Garnier BB Cream because it's fairly inexpensive compared to the Dior and MAC BB creams, my go to skincare and cosmetic brands.I was anxious to receive the product so when it came I tried it right away.I was first pleasantly surprised by the fragrance.Now, I'm not huge on strong smelling products (I have a VERY sensitive sense of smell) but this one has a nice clean, floral fragrance that I have to admit what most people would consider strong, but it is VERY tolerable.After I applied the cream I realized that I didn't need nearly as much as I put on, which is great! Less product used, less money spent on product!The package claims the cream "renew, hydrate, evens, protects, and brightens."Done, done, done, done, and done.I still needed a little concealer on some breakouts but I'm pretty sure that once all clears up I won't need anything more than the BB cream for good coverage.Bottom line, I would recommend purchasing this product if you're curious about BB cream and want to try an inexpensive version first. :)

I'm an outdoors type. I maintain acreage, ride horses, camp, fish, sit outside for firepit nights. I'm also a lip balm addict. I admit it. I've tried it all. This is the best. It goes on smooth, isn't waxy feeling, stays well, moisturizes, and protects from sunburns. Basically odorless and flavorless. Also it hasn't melted in my pocket yet. When I ride horses in the summer, my lip balms like to melt. Was out in 90+ degree weather for a 1 1/2 hr ride the other day and it didn't melt. Softened a little but didn't melt. Big plus for me. Haven't used any other balms since I bought this kind. That's saying a lot for a lip balm addict. (I have all kinds and they are everywhere in my house. Now I hunt down my Aveeno's.)

I bought this lip conditioner after reading a magazine article in which several dermatologists recommended it. It feels much better on your lips than some of the other products I've used such as ChapStick and Burt's Bees.Those feel like they just sit on the surface while the Aveeno product seems to penetrate your lips. so many lip things are too gunky, to dry, have a taste, look feminine, feel weird, rub off fast, don't work, sting, or whatever -tons of flaws out there. This is a simple easy to carry stick form, has a great consistency that is easy to put on and not to "viscous" and really works. I have been using this for years and it is definitely the best I have tried.

HAWAIIAN Tropic Silk Hydration SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion, 6 Fluid Ounce
I'm very fair skinned, and I burn easily. In addition, this year I've decided to get around town on bicycle as much as I can. As you can imagine, this means I need to religiously apply sunblock every day before setting out so I don't burn. I got my first burn in March this year and decided that was never going to happen again.I've tried sport sunblocks, natural sunblocks, "dry touch" sunblocks, sheer sunblocks, spray sunblocks, and everything else you can imagine. All of them were super greasy when applied in the proper amounts (one tablespoon per limb) or left a white residue on my clothing. And they all had that traditional "sunblock" smell-which is fine if you're at the beach where people expect you'll be wearing sunblock. Not fine when you're just going around town.
This stuff is great. Not only is it completely non greasy, but it soaks in with minimal rubbing, dries fast and leaves behind a light floral scent. It's basically more like applying a lotion than a sunblock, but I've yet to get burned while using this-not to jinx myself! And I love the fact that it comes in SPF50, which is something I really need since I burn so easily. A lot of companies seem to forget us easy burners when making sunblock lotions and only make them SPF15 or 20.
My only complaint about this product is that once you use more than half the bottle, it becomes a struggle to get anything out. You have to shake the bottle, tap the bottle, squirt out tiny amounts, and it takes longer to get the sunscreen out of the bottle than it does to actually apply it. Especially if you keep it in your bag like I do. But, this is a minor quibble, I'll be buying lots more of this product for sure.

I grew up using Coppertone to protect me from the sun in Africa. I however wish I'd had this Hawaiian Tropic lotion as I much prefer it. It soaks in fast and doesn't leave my skin greasy. When using this lotion I only stay out in the sun for about 15 minutes to half an hour at most. I find it is effective for that amount of time since I have very fair and sensitive skin. I like the moisturizing qualities and the intoxicating scent is wonderful. I'll be using this when I garden all summer. It is also waterproof so you can use it when swimming.

I love this sunblock it is a "barrier" sunblock so it does not have potentially harmful chemicals that soak into the skin, which is great for kids. I also like that it has the citronella to protect from bug bites. I don't mind the smell at all and it doesn't seem to bother my two-year old, either. One thing to know is that this sunblock has a thicker consistency than some out there so you do have to rub it in a bit, but overall it goes on pretty easy.

I bought this tanning lotion for $25 from my tanning salon. This one is half the price, but even at 25 this lotion was well worth it! This is one of the best smelling tanning lotions I've ever used. I used to work at a tanning salon, so I'm definitely familiar with the horrible scents of a lot of tanning lotions. This one has a yummy vanilla scent that doesn't give me a bad scent after tanning. It is really moisturizing and makes my skin really soft. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that it didn't make me really dark. I can tell a slight difference when I tan without lotion and when I tan with it, but I think the reason why it doesn't make you dark as fast is due to it not having a lot of bronzer in it. It doesn't turn my hands orange or have any streaking. Overall, a good lotion for moisture, but you can probably find better if you prefer your lotions with more bronzer in it.

I really didn't notice much of a difference with this, but part of that may be the fault of the low-level tanning beds I've been using at my gym.However, since it's supposed to be a bronzing lotion, I should have at least seen a little something right after putting it on, which I didn't.The smell isn't great either, although I'm not a big fan of cherry-scented products.It also seems too thick and I have to use a lot of it to get good coverage (I doubt I'll get more than 6 or 7 uses from it).Overall, I've been tanning off and on for the past 9 years and this has been my least favorite so far.I almost want to just throw it away, but I figure maybe I'll at least use it as lotion while I'm at the pool this summer.

My 2 sons have been asking me to find a spray on sunscreen for them.I have been trying to use sunscreen that has less harmful chemicals so it's been difficult to find a spray on one that's not too bad.I found this one on the ewg.org website and it was rated better than many other spray-ons so I decided to give it a shot.The boys were thrilled that I finally found something because it took forever to rub in the zinc oxide lotion I have been using!This bottle was smaller than I imagined (though 4oz would be small, right?!). I like that you can lock the sprayer so you don't accidentally spray it (especially good since we were traveling with it in our suitcase). There was little to no scent to this product.I tried it out on the kids skin before we went on vacation as my 9yr old has had reactions to some products (rash) but no problems here.The product sprays on easily and is easy to rub in (since its a lotion you do have to rub it in).Not very thick but not too thin that it drips all over before you rub it in.We were in the sunny Caribbean (quite pale as our summer tans had worn off in the cold of CT!).The boys were on waterslides, in pools, and in the ocean, and the water-proofness of this product is great.None of us burned at all on our vacation.I highly recommend this product.
1. the spray isn't a nice fine mist like some of the sprays easily found at the drugstore. It's a mess. I just ended up spraying it into my hand and spreading it on that way. I'd prefer the nice fine mist but I'd rather have this because the nice fine mist I used (most recently banana boat sport spf 30) left me with a painful burn and scores much worse on the Environmental Working Group website (ewg.org) which rates the safety of sunscreens.
2. The texture isn't great it's liquidy but a bit thicker than the really nice sport sunscreens commonly found in the drugstore. Unfortunately, I haven't always been protected from a sunburn from those, and this seems healthier.

I like this cleanser because it's non-drying as many foaming cleansers tend to be...and I had to stop using multiple OTC cleansers after a few days for that reason.Even with my prone to dryness skin, I prefer the clean feeling that only comes from washing my face with water and not using cleansing milk and tonic combo, especially in the summer months with all the subblock that I put on.
It didn't cause any irritation and it's economical too.

We bought this for our daughter for when we go outdoors.It works great for not getting sunburned.However, she gets a horrible rash all over face in the evening when she wears it.The poor girl looks like she was beaten, with purple and red welts all over her.We did it twice, so I'm positive it is the sunscreen.

Never a sunburn with this lotion. Thick and stays on a long time. No irritations and doesn't run in eyes. SPF 100 really does make a difference between burn and no burn.

I use this almost exclusively for running.I get up, wash my face, and apply Supergoop.It feels like a well made cosmetic moisturizer on my skin, not like a heavy sunscreen, and it doesn't run into my eyes when I sweat.I feel like it really absorbs into my skin, rather than squishing around on top, waiting to drip into my eyes, like other sun screens.I do also apply it mid day if I'll be out in the sun, right over my tinted moisturizer, and it feels fine.

I purchased this lotion not expecting it to do much but to my surprise the lotion smells great, leaves the skin soft and moisturized. I have been using this lotion for the past 3 weeks now and even though I don't use it the recommended two times a day I can still notice a difference in my skin. My skin looks brighter and more even toned. I have darker skin on certain parts of my body that for years nothing I used would lightened but this lotion has made my skin all over including the dark areas brighter. I will definitely purchase this lotion again. I also do recommend that you bathe with a moisturizing soap like dove the combination of the the soap and the lotion will leave your smith silky smooth.This is my very first review, which I'm always trying new things but never do I find something that is worth writing about but this lotion is.
I threw it into a trash can right after I open the package and tried to smell the lotion.
So disappointed!

I would not rate this product as the best. It might work well for some people but not everyone. If you are interested in trying, you can. I do not want to.

The picture looks more like it's described: "champagne"... like a light pinkish tan... but what I got looks nothing like this. It's pretty much no color with straight gold flakes in it. I should've known better than to try to order lipgloss online anyway, 'cause it NEVER looks the same on as it does in pictures or in the bottle... I won't buy any lip gloss online anymore.
