Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion with SPF 15, 2-Ounce Bottle

This lotion does have a scent but I think it smells great and is in no way overpowering. It lasts a long time (about 6 months) and does not have any sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. The SPF 15 is a must and hard to find with natural ingredients in a moisturizer. It is much lighter than the night cream and doesn't leave an oily residue. I would highly recommend this product

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now.I wanted the Ageless Day Lotion but it does not come with SPF so opted for this.I love it, it makes my face feel fresh and clean and I rarely wear makeup now.When I got my hair cut, my hairdresser commented on how even toned my skin looked and was amazed that I didn't have any makeup on.I use the Ageless Night Creme (for about one month now) and am really happy with that too.I don't have laugh lines or wrinkles so can't say if it helped with those or not but overall my skin is feeling better and I do not have the typical dry skin I get in the winter.

Soooo soothing!As with most Burt's Bees products, this is free of sulfates, parabens, pthalates and petrochemicals.You can't really tell from the picture, but it does have royal jelly, like the rest of the Radiance line.Not a strong scent maybe just a hint of honey and floral, but nothing overpowering.The active ingredients for the SPF facotr are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.It comes in a glass bottle (recyclable) with a pump.Awesome stuff!I use in conjunction with Burt's Bees Burt's Bees Radiance Night Creme, 2 oz cream and I feel like my skin imperfections heal quickly and my overall tone is improved.

I do like Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion.It is important to me to wear sunscreen daily, and I'm a fan of Burt's Bees natural products.

However, I was pretty shocked at the perfume-y fragrance of this lotion.I don't wear perfume, so maybe I'm just not accustomed to it, but I didn't expect this from Burt's Bees.In fact, ever since I started using this stuff, I have received compliments on my "perfume"!So, while it doesn't stink, it does have a strong floral fragrance.I wouldn't recommend it to people who are sensitive to strong fragrances.

Aside from that, I have found this lotion to be fairly lightweight--considering it contains sunscreen.I rub the lotion between my hands before I spread it over my neck and face.Initially, I'm left with a dewey finish (which to some people might be considered greasy), but it dries just fine.I should say that I have combination skin, but I tend to be more concerned with my challenges with dry skin.Thus, I don't mind a little dew...especially because this lotion makes my face feel soft and smooth without the burn of some face lotions.

I'm not certain if Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion makes me look "radiant," but it goes on fairly light and takes care of any dryness I might have while leaving me with soft skin.Plus, the price is reasonable.I'm just not so sure of the fragrance.

I've recently joined the anti-parabens and other man-made chemical revolution as it applies to my skin.When I used the last of my Olay SPF moisturizer, I switched to this day lotion.Even though I already use the Almond and Banana beeswax hand cremes and the regular lotions, this was a leap of faith for me because I had never used their products on my face.I was pleasantly surprised by the results!It has a pleasing, light, honey-dew like scent and what's even better is that it does not leave my oil-prone skin feeling greasy.I dare say my skin is even softer and the oil seems to be in check!Lovely stuff.

Elta was recommended to me by my dermatologist.I thought amazon had a reasonable price for such a great product.Neutragena and other drugstore brands made me break out and clogged my pores.Elta seems to absorb, but has the strength I need out in the sun.Love, love, love it!

I have tried dozens of sunscreens, based on the EWG's recommendations in their database, for myself and my two young children. This is by far the best we've found. It gets a #1 rating from EWG for not containing potenitally dangerous parabens and other chemicals, plus it has the highest SPF factor of the physical sunscreens. And the biggest bonus for me is that it goes on easily and rubs right in. We had been relying on Badger and California Baby, but they are so very sticky and just coat the skin and attract dirt and grime and honestly, I hated covering myself and the children with such thick stuff that would slide off into the creases and leave us so shiny and slick. We actually got burned using Badger a couple of times, either because we didn't put it on thick enough, it slid off as we sweat, or I didn't reapply properly. Elta MD Pure is the opposite--we're covered, it's invisable and a delight to put on since it rubs right in, so re-application isn't such a PITA. It's perfect for us. I just went back and ordered several more bottles for ourselves. So glad I found this!

This goes on thick and white. As far as application, it's the same as all the other "natural" sunscreens.I hope the higher SPF and the "broad spectrum" is accurate because that's the only reason I'm still using it. My bottle has no odor at all good, bad or otherwise.

I just bought this product YESTERDAY, but I had to write a review on it today because it is so incredible! I have naturally fair skin with an orangish undertone and slight acne. It states on the back if results aren't as noticeable as desired, to reapply it more frequently. So of course little-impatient-me reapplied it around 5-6 times that day. The affects were noticeable by doing so, and they are incredible!

*I took a long shower and washed my face twice and the color didn't wash off (*hint hint* swimming? :D).

*In the same light which previously made me look like a zombie, I look healthy and in the same light which made me look healthy, I look radiant.

My acne is less noticeableand I can continue using this product since it is NON-COMEDOGENIC (doesn't cause acne). It is also oil-free, dermatologist-tested, and lightweight.

*I can ditch coverup (which always made me look even MORE unhealthy!) and wear glittery white eyeliner and not look tacky :D

*This product smells better than my designer perfumes! I live in California, and this definitely has a sweet, beachy smell (but not like seaweed haha), but more like a boardwalk smell on a nice, relaxing, summer day!

*They have a matching body-lotion which smells even better and has light specks of glitter in it :D

I had tried fake-tanner before and looked so unnatural, but this product gave my skin such a natural sun-kissed look I had never seen on myself before. I can go to the beach now, still wearing my sunblock, AND have a nice, sun-kissed, glow!

Jergens Natural Glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer has been a very positive boost to my skincare regime.I have vitiligo which causes the skin to lose its pigmentation so I have large areas on my face that have absolutely no color.I try not to let it get to me but particularly in the summer months when I tan in some areas and then have these huge blotches it really does bother me.I have tried different self-tanners and so far they have either been prohibitely expensive, cause me to break out, or they turned my skin orange, not tan.Jergens Natural Glow has been the nicest surprise and totally unexpected as I just grabbed it initially off a Walmart shelf without really expecting any results.The product works beautifully, looks very natural, lasts so I don't have to apply it every day (and I am in the pool year round!), and is INEXPENSIVE.Thanks to Jergens for this fantastic product!I don't want to suggest that it will work for everyone but if you have vitiligo you may want to give this one a try.

im a cheater. i like to look tan before i step out in the sun. i use the all over body foam with much success and i wanted to try this for my face. after 5 applications over a 2 day period my face is darker. im afraid to keep applying =). looks natural. recommended for sure!

I noticed results by the end of the first day, though as a rather pale person it was easy to get results quickly.I have lots of freckles and some hormone-related splotchiness on my face, so this has really helped even it out.I was careful blending it in around my hairline and down into my neck, so it looks really natural.Very happy with it...a golden tan without adding to my freckling and sun damage!

I have always used unprocessed shea butter, but found that it didnt absorb easily, and was often difficult to massage onto my skin, given that it's thick. This product is easily applicable, absorbs quickly, and has a more subtle smell than the butter itself. It keeps my skin moisturized all day (as shea usually does). I would recommend this product. I will buy this product again.

When I received this product it smelled like vegetable oil and taste like crisco and it looks and feels like crisco also. I don't know if shea butter is suppose to have this kind of effect but I am not satisfied. I put a little bit on my skin and it really just smells like vegetable oil. I think that's what this is.

There's no plumping effect with this at all, and it doesn't moisturize (not really) or give any color. So there's no cosmetic effect with this (it comes out a as a thin white liquid just like sunscreen). It's a sunscreen, and that's pretty much it. It even tastes/smells like sunscreen. But that said, its good to have a sunscreen you can actually stand using on your lips, as they are one of the first places to take sun damage due to lack of natural skin protection.

This is a lovely light moisture cream that helps fill in the fine lines around the mouth -at 65 I don't expect miracles, but this defintely has an impact.

I admit, I was reluctant to stray from Butters-n-Bars.com raw organic shea butter, which I have purchased regularly for the past two years. Before B-n-B, I used to buy this "regular" shea butter from the local BSS (beauty supply store), but then as shea became more popular the price increased dramatically. I read reviews about the pros and cons of raw organic vs. "regular" which includes root coloring, but in the end decided to come back to regular because my husband and I really don't notice any difference between the two in terms of results from our everyday use.

I primarily use this butter in sealing and styling my natural afro-textured (3c-4b) hair. I use it for two-strand twists on my damp hair or for slightly elongating my curls on a wash-n-go. My husband and I also use shea butter for daily moisturizing and skin softening, as well as on our faces and lips, sometimes mixed with a little aloe very gel. We prefer this over lotion. A little goes a long way. Based on previous experience, I expect we will be using these two large containers for about 14 months, if not longer.

This two-pack of butter is a deeper yellow tone than B-n-B's raw organic version. The two tubs came in a sealed plastic bag, which is smart considering the heat of the late summer. It's smooth and creamy in consistency, kind of like a buttery, cream cheese icing.It's not grainy at all. Heating it and letting it cool again without mixing with something else (e.g. oils) will tend to make shea butter grainy (I know because I left a container in the hot car once by mistake). Graininess is not terrible, as it will melt down in your hands anyway, but if texture is important to you just be careful with it. We rub it between our hands for a few seconds and then apply to skin. The smell is kind of nutty and earthy, and not at all like gasoline as some described on a different product review page. BTW, if my shea butter smelled like gas, I would send it back.

I am pleased with my purchase and I will buy from this seller again, especially if the price stays about the same.

I ordered the product on a Thursday, and received it that Saturday in the mail.One of the tubs was a bit damaged, but i think that was due to shipping. The price was great.I use the product to seal my natural hair, and apply it to my skin immediately after I shower and before I towel off, which gives me moisturized skin that lasts until my next shower. It is a great product, and I will definitely be ordering it again.I, however, do not have any previous experience with shea butter, so I do not have any standard of quality with which to compare it with.

This is my first time ever using Shea Butter.I expected the feel of it to be like "butter".It is really grainy feeling.It does melt in your hands after you rub it in a while. It is really really thick and stiff.I bought it to use in myhair.I had to mix it with something else to make it easier to use. I added in some essential oils too because, it actually smelled like play dough. After putting a generous amount on my afro-textured hair, my hair was nice and shiny.The Shea Butter is very heavy, but my hair is really thick and can take it. It was a good price for 2 nice size containers of the product.No problems with the vender or shipping.

Shea butter is awesome stuff, I'm always on the prowl for some all natural products for my family. My mom has very sensitive skin and I bought this for her and she loves it, her skin looks so supple now, not dry or itcy is what she use to say about her skin. I also use use this for my kids and I. I have fair skin and burn very easily. This sunblock works very well to keep my skin from getting burned or even tan and I don't have to use a lot. It has the consistency of hand lotion and spreads easily. It has a slight scent which dissipates quickly. Unfortunately, it is oily and takes a while to absorb into the skin, but once it's absorbed you won't even know you're wearing it.

because of this product.I re-applied frequently and at even intervals.I made sure to put it on as soon as I came out of the water.It says waterproof, but that's a complete lie.It came off as soon as I touched the water.I figured out later that just normal tap water can take it off.It was completely useless.

CONS:

Ive been ordering this lotion for yrs now & this is the 1st time it ws white not pink. I matched the ingredients from my old lotion & it appears to be the same...just weird. I will continute to use Derma-E lotions as they are all natural ingredients & my face is happy.

This product is non greasy but easily absorbed into the skin. I never like greasy skin products especially moisturizer to wear during day time. The best part of it is it contains sunscreen! What more can I say: moisturizer, sun screen and good price all in 1 product!
