I've only been using this serum for a couple of weeks but so far I am quite happy with it.It seems to be plumping up my skin.I love the consistency and the smell is ok.I may end give it 5 stars after using it for a few more weeks.

I brought this sunscreen to Hawaii assuming I would need a water resistant sunscreen that also provided higher SPF protection. I like that it is paraben free and seems to absorb or adhere to the skin better than other water resistant products. My one complaint is that the lotion is so incredibly thick! After much effort, the white streaks finally disappeared. On the second day of my vacation I decided to save myself from the tiring application process and used my friend's sunscreen instead. I do not recommend using this on your face as it is far too thick and leaves a slight residue feeling on the skin. Overall, it is good for the days you anticipate water play, but not for every day use.
The 30 spf version of this product prevented us from burning when we were vacationing on the beach in Mexico or the Caribbean, even with only a single application in the morning.Now they offer 50 spf!It has no odors and you can pronounce and understand what most of the ingredients are on the tube.there is nothing more protective than a physical block for sunscreen (i.e. zinc oxide) this product is 10% zinc oxide.

I am a younger male and would normally never use any cosmetic product, but I seem to have permanent dark circles under my eyes. I tried getting more sleep, multivitamins, taking an allergy pill daily etc and nothing seemed to help.I saw this product and figured I'd use it at night only to see if it helped and to not have "makeup" on my face during the day.

When I use RoC skin products, my skin looks better. If I shop in a department store, I'll spend a minimum of $200 and the ingredients in those high-dollar products aren't necessarily effective, just expensive. This product had the ingredients I was looking for. I'm getting good results. Be sure to protect your skin when you go out in the sun, even in Winter. Your skin will be more sensitive while you are treating it with this product. Also, be SURE not to use any exfoliating products while you are using it. Don't use wax on your face. It can cause some unpleasant soreness and skin eruptions. I learned that the first time. Now that I know what NOT to do, I'm getting excellent results.

I got this as part of a sample pack I ordered and this was my favorite thing that I received. I have trouble with my lips chapping and cracking and bleeding a little while I sleep, especially during the winter months. After one use I found that my lips felt and looked great. I somewhat randomly added this to my cart so I could get free shipping, and I was pretty much impressed! I've been looking at different matte lip balms and decided on this because I like orange (that was really the main reason I was sold, I love the color/fruit). I ordered some aloe vera oil after reading a recommendation for it online.. I was a bit underwhelmed when I got it-simple little glass bottle, hardly a label. But the cap had a built-in rubber stopper to keep the oil from leaking out everywhere, which was a quality touch not often seen. I tried using some, but found the oil too thin for an overnight eye moisturizer, and too heavy for daytime. Hm. I kind of shoved it in the back of the cabinet and forgot about it. Until I had a great idea the other night and dragged it out-I rubbed some all over my face, then mixed a spoonful of white sugar with some more of the oil in my hand and rubbed it all over my face, adding more oil. I rinsed off the sugar, then rubbed the oil around my face a bit more before washing it off with a mild soap. It made my skin like velvet! I've used sugar before, but not with oil-it had always left my face red and tight but the oil was a perfect combo. Heavy and friendly enough to the skin to soothe and moisturize it, but light enough to wash off easily. I have rosacea and this moisturizer keeps the redness under control.It does have a slight white tint so use only a pea size drop for the whole face...this will also allow the moisturizer to absorb better.I have normal skin.Wash with ceraveon my clarisonic then use this moisturizer and my pores are almost nonexistent. So much so that i have had people to ask what I'm doing different.

Like all physical sunscreens, there is the risk of looking a bit white.I have a medium tan/olive complexion.It really doesn't change my complexion that much.I feel like I look a tiny bit washed out for maybe 30-45 min, but that's just me, my friends say they can't see a change at all.After 30-45 minutes I feel the color my skin color is back to normal.If you are white Im sure you wouldn't notice a difference at all
I have to say I tried the version for normal to dry skin and was not as pleased.When you squeeze it out of the tube I feel the oil or moisturizers seperates more from the sunscreen.I felt I had to shake it more to make it a homogenous lotion.

I really wanted to like this product because I'm always on the look out for a good high SPF moisturizer, but I ended up hating it! I received a sample in some beauty box or other and although it was a tiny sample, I only needed one use to know that I wouldn't be purchasing the full size. I was suspicious as soon as I squeezed a bit onto my hand because there was a definite "sunscreen" smell which you don't usually have with facial moisturizers. As soon as I put it on my face, it left a heavy white sheen that just couldn't be blended away. Even after an hour it still hadn't sunk in and I could still see a white cast all over my face.I would not recommend this for daily use even though the name says "daily skincare." Maybe for a day at the beach or if you wear foundation over it, but there are a lot of better SPF moisturizers out there, like my holy grail Josie Maran.

I purchased this at my dermatologists office a few weeks ago.She said I would 'really like it' but...I wasn't so sure especially after I paid $35.00 for it! (almost choked on the price)It is a small tube but you really do only need a pea sized drop.

I am in the hot sun every day and have been lloking for a chemical free sunscreen that will not clog my pores and cause break-outs.I have been using Sunolgy for faces and for the body with great success!It is thick so you don't have to use much and it does absorb into the skin much better than other products I have tried with zinc oxide.It is greasy at first, but as you rub it in, it becomes very smooth and creamy. This sunscreen smells terrible but what's worst it linger on the skin for at least half an hour. I too checked the EWG site as another poster had to search for a chemical free sunscreen. Too bad this one does leave a white cast on my face and an unpleasant odor with it. My search continues :( Thankfully I was issued a full refund from FingerTip Shopper without having to go out of my way to return the product to sender.

She says it's good for oily or combination skin too. I'm going to buy some next time I'm in Trader Joe's, but I know that I will like it because Paula has never steered me wrong. This is the best facial moisturizer with SPF for sensitive skin. I purchased California Baby shampoo and conditioner for my daughter before she was born based on the recommendations of the Cosmetics Database. My daughter is now two years old and has an eight-month-old brother. This brand is wonderful.I first found it when I was looking for a safe, effective sun block.I've been using the conditioner for a while.It DOES detangle my son's hair (which is shoulder length).However, it takes quite a bit of it and helps if you leave it on for a minute or two.It is not quite as fast and slick as many other brands, but this a compromise you have to make if you want something this natural. However, it does work as long as you use enough.
Lately I use it on my hair as well, since I am allergic to fragrance and it doesn't cause any reaction.I have to use a lot of it, which makes it a bit expensive.I don't agree with other reviewers about a bad smell it has no smell at all as far as I can tell.Perhaps if it gets too old it will smell bad, as many of the more natural products tend to do.

I also used this for a trip to belize.I think the sunblock worked fine but the bug repellant did not work at all.I returned from my trip absolutely covered in bug bites.Plus, this smells atrociously sweet.And it did not close properly.I had to wrap it in ziploc bags and it would still manage to spill everywhere. Not recommended.
I bought this just before my trip to Belize a few weeks ago.The sun was fierce and the bugs were everywhere.I used this every day on my head, face, and neck -even in my hair (I don't have very much of it).I never got burned once -a very effective sunblock with a nice fruity scent and a clean feel.
The bug repellent part of things was less effective, but under normal circumstances (not being surrounded by black flies, mosquitos and sand flies), I would expect it to work fine.

I was looking for the old type of Skin So Soft that was a lotion that also repelled mosquitos.This lotion was blue and made my skin blue.Unless I am desperate I will not use it.JCUI detest the blue color of the cream. It takes a while to blend in and leaves a residue. I highly recommend the white cream in the white bottle--same product without color.This product is great because you can see if you have missed any areas when applying it and it is a great insect repellent, too.However, it stains everything blue, including your hands and it is very difficult to wash off without a lot of soap.Also based on my personal experience, in the heat the oil separates from the lotion and leaks from the bottle when packed in a suitcase.Solution to this is to wrap it in plastic when packed and you have to shake the bottle well before use.Overall I prefer to use Avon's regular SSS Bug Guard Sunscreen Lotion which works as effectively as this product but without the blue color.
