I bought this system because my friend and I were sick of paying high prices for our spray tan addiction. We split the cost and spray tan each other and it ends up costing us about $4.00 per tan. This machine works great for what we're doing and we love the Ocean brand solution that comes with it. The machine isn't super powerful, but powerful enough and I think this is partly why I love it so much; you don't have gobs of tan running and don't feel like you have to dry forever but get a great tan still. When we first started using it we were holding the "pen" about a foot or so away, but once I got on their website I read that you should be holding it about 6 inches away, and when we tried holding it closer we got an even darker tan. Love this machine and solution, would def recommend it for home use and well worth the money especially if you can split it with someone!p.s. it helps to watch a video on how to apply the tan well.
