My order was shipped super fast! It arrived before the date that I was given. One bad thing is that some of the stickers were folded in half to fit into the envelope, and a few of them were completely ruined, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
I have been using sunless tanning products since the late 80's.All of them had something about them that I didn't like:the smell, the fake-looking color, the stickiness, the streaking.So I ordered this product hoping that MAYBE it would be tolerable.
These products are totally worth the money and are miracle workers!I am only 43 but already had the brown age spots and premature fine lines and wrinkles.The age spots have faded and the fine lines are practically nonexistent.I love these products and the difference they have made in my skin and I would recommend them to anybody!
I have used philosophy shelter for about three years. The previous shelter was only 15 spf but was much easier to use. The new version has higher spf and is much thicker and has a strange tan color. It reminds of bit o honey candy in terms of color and fragrance. Not to swift. The strange tan color is actually from the un-tinted one. I have blonde hair/ eyebrows so it stains my eyebrows which bothers me. I have to try and rub off the weird yellow residue on eyebrows after applying to my face. I would have preferred that they simply make the untinted version white/ or no color. In terms of protection, it does a good job. It absorbs quickly. warning! this product WILL stain your clothes with the icky tan color so be careful to wash your hands after applying.

Another great product from Philosophy!!!I have tried at least 10 different sunscreen face creams and all were too heavy and very difficult to blend when applying to the face.Just a small dot of Shelter goes on smoothly and gives lots of coverage.
I bought this at a local health food store because it is not tested on animals. It really goes on smoothly and easily, and it makes my skin look nice. It's not greasy, and doesn't get into my eyes or make them sting all day!

This is definitely a quality product. Its kind of expensive but works as moisteurizer and sunscreen at the same time with good quality ingredients. This lotion felt great on my face and didn't make me breakout like most tanning lotions do.I didn't get any color from it while tanning, though.I would have better color results if I didn't wear any lotion at all.
Used this product for the first time today, and I must say I'm pleased. I would order this again! It smells really good, even after tanning. My skin feels super soft. The blush bronzer gave my skin a really pretty flushed glow as soon as I was done tanning. Great quality for the price!

This is great product. The only reason it didn't rate a five star rating was its price. I have sprayed it through body paint air brush but found better application with a gravity fed automotive paint sprayer. That set up provided great atomization and easy even application. Best to have an over spray screen or spray out doors. For best results I suggest you do not shower for at least 12-24 hrs. I have been using Pantene Curl Defining mousse for years with no complaints. However, the last time I was at the store they were out of it so I decided to give this a chance. Like the other reviewer said, the scent isn't a huge selling point. However, the product worked really well at holding my curls and keeping them frizz free, a little better than Pantene. I just had to work on using the right amount so it wouldn't feel crunchy in places. The only other difference I noticed was that mousse had a rough, almost sticky texture when I was rinsing it out in the shower the next day. I just have no idea how this would factor in if it rains.

I love the way this smellsit reminds me of the beach. It has a beautiful golden shimmer and does a nice job highlighting the skin. Although I don't use it for sun screen right now (it's November in the mid-atlantic US)I'm sure it does the job.

I love this lotion, it gets you super dark! It does stain your hands though and it is a tiny bit orange at first but it darkens after a while. I bought this tote because I wanted small samples of this product line.I have only used it once on my 14 month old daughters hair and it seemed to leave her hair dry.I even left the conditioner on for 2 minutes per instruction.I will give it a few more tries to see if the results are better.I'm glad I bought this tote instead of the larger bottles of this product.

My skin reacts to a lot of sunscreens by breaking out in a rash, but I am a redhead and need very high SPF protection when I am outdoors for extended periods of time. I have sensitive skin and am a woman of color.Most physical sun blocks look horrible and do not completely disappear...even a slight white film is completely visible on my skin.I stumbled upon Vanicream at a non-chain pharmacy and the pharmacist said it was good and let me try it on my skin.It did not leave a white film and so I got it.Have been using it for about 2 years now.It is thick and does go on greasy.It is a little labor intensive to use because of the consistency but this is how I put in on, which is similar to how I was told to put on thick night creams:I rub it between my hands and "pat" it all over my face.After contact with the skin, it seems to melt a little, making it easier to spread. You do need to spread it so it rubs in and not just wait for it to absorb. As another review noted, because it is gentle, it does not irritate my eyes and so I can use it under my eyes for coverage, no problem. After that I let it sit while I do other things (brush my teeth, whatever) and then put on my makeup. It is particularly good if you use a stick foundation which I stopped using for awhile because it was a little too dry/matte, but over the SS, provides a nice "tinted moisturizer" type finish.If there is a still a little shine left, I do NOT use powder but oil blotting paper.This, for me, seems to work pretty well and my face feels soft and protected all day.I LOVE it in the winter; less so in the summer but keep coming back to it year-round because I don't like how other sunscreens make my face sting or the smell of them.
So I am not a foundation person -or at least I wasn't. This is the only foundation I'd use! It is a thinner consistency so it won't lead to gross cake face.
My first reaction when I received this sunscreen is that the jar is really tiny for the price. The packaging is cute and the jar is a very convenient way of dispensing the product, but other than that, I don't have anything positive to say about this sunscreen. It is a thick, white cream that for some reason has a gritty texture as if some ingredient is not quite blended in. You can't use it on your face because it is so thick and white. I used it on my arms but they looked ghostly white after application. After a couple of weeks, I ended up throwing the rest out because it is so unpleasant to use.
I promise I will use it forever~ Love the color~ you can use it together with other lip gross or only it, it shines and makes your lip color so so so good~ I use a lip brush so I can put it on my lip evenly.

This just came out this week and has gotten me excited about JWOWW products again.I can't wear all bronzers, some of them make me itchy which is what the original JWOWW did so I never went back.I just tried a packet of this One and Done this week due to the fact that it's yogurt based and I thought hey, it might work for me.Well, all I can say is WOW!The girl at the front desk even noticed! I was instantly super dark and it never made me break out or got me itchy.I'm a year long tanner, about 2-3 times a week and like to rotate my bronzers with intensifiers on all level of beds.I used this on a Fusion bed (high and low pressure combined). It has a tropical like scent, it's light and not overpowering,and goes on well.Although it claims to have the odor inhibitors I still had a slight immediate after-tan odor which did go away within about 30 minutes.Overall I think this stuff is fantastic and will be purchasing a big bottle.It's hard for me to find such a nice bronzer that doesn't give me the skin sensitivities.
