I am fair skinned, cannot stand being burned.We spent a week at the beach I used this everyday and I never burned it works good.The only complaint I might have is that it is hard to spread.It goes on like a thick white goop and once you get it spread you are covered, but spreading it can be a challenge.I am an adult and only used it on adults, We didn't have any babies around to try it on.

This sunscreen does prevent burns but if you rub it in too much it balls up and comes off.It goes on fairly white.
