Almay Pure Tints Protective Lip Care, SPF25, .07 oz - PARENT

I purchased this product as an option for when I didn't want to wear lipstick but still wanted to give my lips some color as well as moisturize.Unfortunately, I found that Almay Pure Tints are only so-so in this role.I have the featured color, Blush, which provides only the barest hint of quickly fading pigment.In addition, what color that is present is somewhatuneven, and the product has a slightly grainy feel.On the other hand, the SPF of 25 is nice, and the product did help to moisturize my lips; I also like the slim design.However, if you are looking for a cross between a lip balm and a lip stick, Blistex Lip Tone is a better option.

I never right reviews... thinking this is my first actually. But, had to say my 2cents since I see the other 2 reviews were negative on this item. I have been using, Almay Pure Tints in CLEAR for about 8 years now. It's a staple in my make-up bag. I don't like to wear lipstick. This has been a GREAT alternative. I love how this product makes my lips look fuller, more plump. Adds a hint of a soft pink to them. While looking oh! so! natural. oh, and can't forget while doing all of this it's also protecting my lips from those darn harsh UV rays.

Terribly sticky and waxy...I can't believe it's a lipstick!!! You can push it out but you can't draw it back...it looks just like to contain too much water and can't be called as a stick...

I've been using this brand (Alpha Hydrox) for 4+ years after seeing an episode of Oprah where the line was highly recommended. I researched everywhere I could, including a lengthy talk w/my friend who is a physician.

Retinol is one of the few ingredients that has been scientifically proven to improve wrinkles, as I learned onMayo clinic's website. This tube has a full .15% pure-active Retinol (Vitamin A). It's delivered in microsponges (you don't feel them, but they work to ensure good delivery of the retinol where you apply it). It goes on smoothly, is easily absorbed, and is not greasy. No scent that I notice. To purchase the exact same weight (1.05 oz tube) and strength, my dermatologist wants $107. Yes, $107. Different brand but same active ingredient. I couldn't find this high .15% strength available through any other company at less than 4 times the Neoteric price. And yes, Neoteric (the manufacturer of this cream) is a highly reputable company selling many millions of dollars in skin care products annually. Are there improvements to be made? Sure, I'd like this cream to erase 20 years from my face. That'd be a real improvement. But, I'll settle for a great performer that works as well as a $107 cream at only $15.

I have always had problematic skin: Acne, Rosacea, scaring and pitting; and now I am also showing signs of aging. I starting looking online for something that would help. Physicians Formula Healthy Wear Tinted Moisturizer, SPF 50, Ivory to Fair 7066, 1 oz.

I've been using this product for over a year now and love it.Moisturizers some times make me break out and using moisturizer PLUS sun block PLUS foundation was always a pain.I thought for sure I'd break out with all three combined or that the tint wouldn't make much difference in terms of good coverage.Was I wrong.I now use this as my foundation (which I never used to wear every day), and since it has great SPF, I wear it every day.I do need a moisturizer at night because (as someone else mentioned) you need to use a good make-up remover to clean your face at night, and that can be a bit drying.I have been so impressed with the smooth, even coverage, that I even use this as my foundation if I put on make-up before going out at night!Obviously, I don't need the SPF, but my old foundation just doesn't look as good.One last plus: it's long lasting.If I put it on in the morning and don't swim or shower, it lasts well into the evening.My only suggestion, which I did with my old foundation, too, is to use a light powder or bronzer a minute after putting this on.It takes a minute or two to dry and the powder takes the shine away.

This is a really nice moisturizer and foundation that unlike a lot of sun products is safe it's recommended by EWGI have very fair skin and ivory matches perfectly.

I am completely impressed by this moisturizer.I use it daily as my foundation and use the PF bronzer for blusher.It lasts all day and contrary to other reviews, I do not feel it is greasy at all.Colors do run dark, so I am glad I bought the lightest shade.I have rosacea and this seems to have improved the redness after only a month of use.It does have that sunscreen smell but that is not a problem since I know it has SPF50 and I am protected from the sun.It can be a little hard to remove if you have a liquid cleanser but I use a foam cleanser which washes it right off.It's a really good product and the only one that has such a high SPF.I love it, will reorder and can't wait to test it out during the summer months.

I love this stuff as both a foundation and sunscreen. It gives excellent coverage. It is very greasy feeling, so you have to finish with powder, but has never made my sensitive skin breakout.

I really like this moisture wear.It is basically a foundation with sun protection. Because of its high moisture

content, it does NOT dry and cake in lines and wrinkles to accentuate the aging process, as does most regular foundation.So it makes the skin look brightened and smoothed! Has good "coverage" or conceal properties but NOT as opaque as regular

foundation or concealer.It will lighten freckles or age spots but does not make them disappear. It does even out face color.

It does feel "dewy" on the skin, almost oily, but not.Tip for applying:1 or 2 small "squirts" go a LONG way!Gently blot any

excess with tissue.

I bought this face stick because it has a high SPF, no vitamin A (which recently has been shown to accelerate cancer: , it is ranked highly by the environmental working group and does not contain nano-particles. All of these qualifications were hard to find in a sunscreen. And as an additional plus, it's also all natural, not tested on animals and made in the USA! When the stick arrived and I popped it open, I was pleasantly surprised. The stick is slightly tinted, so that when I applied it to my face it was the same color as my skin! Instead of a white sheen that most mineral sunscreens leave behind, this sunscreen was invisible! I used this for the first time tonight. It instantly gives you a tingling, burning feeling. After tanning I looked like I had just sat inside a nuclear reactor for about an hour. It makes your skin look extremely red and burnt. However, the red color wears off after a bit. I am a frequent tanner, but will never use this again. Not for the faint of heart.

I used Betrayal I really liked the way it gave me that extra boost to my tan. I had been tanning for months and felt I had plateaued.I hesitated using a tingle lotion, (I had never used one before) So I tried a sample of this product and the first time I used it I definitely got a tingle sensation and a bit of a itchy feeling (not too bad, similar to being in the sun and getting a little bit of a sun burn) it lasted about 4 hours. I did get a lot darker. I was very impressed with it. When I used it he second time I didn't get the tingle sensation anymore, my skin must have adapted to the sensation. However, the product still made me darker, but, my sample packet was now all used up. So I then decided to try Roar to see how it worked..to see if it was better or not....BAD choice!! I had a bad reaction to Roar (Check out my review under Roar) I will never use Roar again.Back to Betrayal...I really loved how it made me tanner and the tingle wasn't bad either. I will buy this product again. I have used many Designer Skin products from moisturizers, tanning lotions, bronzers and tingle lotions ...I love all of their products other than Roar.However with any Tingle lotion use caution if it's the first time you use it.Different people react differently to different products..I found that out the hard way after using Roar. I like buying my lotions on Amazon..because they are a lot cheaper here. At the salon the lotions are twice the price....huge mark up..try sample packs whenever possible, before investing in a huge bottle. Designer Skin Products are good products..!!! I hope this review helps you to not make the same mistake I did.

SUGGESTIONS:

1. BUY SAMPLE PACKS OF A TINGLE LOTIONS AND TRY THEM TO SEE WHICH WORKS BEST FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE!

2. USE ALL NEW TINGLE LOTIONS ON A SMALL AREA FOR THE FIRST TIME (EXAMPLE: RUB SOME ON YOUR LEG (about the size of an apple) & ALSO RUB SOME ON YOUR ARM AS WELL (about the size of a golf ball) BECAUSE YOUR ARM IS A VERY SENSITIVE AREA AND IF YOUR ARM OR LEG DOESN'T BOTHER YOU THEN IT WILL PROBABLY BE OK TO USE.

3. WASH OFF ALL TINGLE LOTIONS BEFORE TOUCHING SOMEONE ELSE IT WILL BURN THEM, SO USE CAUTION!!!...DO NOT TOUCH A CHILD OR BABY OR HOLD A BABY NEXT TO YOU AFTER USING A TINGLE LOTION...IT WILL BURN THEM!!!!

4. NEVER APPLY TINGLE LOTIONS TO YOUR FACE!!! EVER!!! YOUR FACE IS TOO SENSITIVE!!

5. APPLY ALL REGULAR LOTIONS TO YOUR FACE FIRST...BEFORE YOU APPLY THE TINGLE LOTION TO YOUR BODY, BECAUSE IF YOU APPLY THE TINGLE LOTION TO YOUR BODY FIRST AND THEN APPLY A DIFFERENT LOTION TO YOUR FACE..YOU WILL STILL GET THE TINGLE LOTION ON YOUR FACE AND POSSIBLY IN YOUR EYES...NOT GOOD!!!

6. IF YOU DO HAVE A REACTION TO A TINGLE LOTION, SHOWER WITH COOL WATER, USE AN ANTI ITCH/BURN CREAM..OR TRY USING A DUSTING OF CORN STARCH OR BAKING SODA ON THE AFFECTED AREAS. AND YOU ALSO MAY WANT TO TAKE SOME BENADRYL PILLS AND CREAM IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION..(THIS HAPPENED TO ME WITH ROAR) or CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU HAVE A BAD ALLERGIC REACTION.

I've bought this before at my salon for about 70ish dollars. I liked it. Bronzers plus tingle = amazing =] If your not a tingle person this isn't for you. Also if your not a tingle person you should be =]] I consider it not a burning felling but like a warm feeling that adds to the relaxation of tanning, not to mention tingles get you the best color. I like this make up but the color is darker than Ithought I ordered.

I received the item promptly and it was new. I guess the color guide was

deceiving.

This is great non heavy non clumping makeup that applies evenly over skin, and keeps power in place once applied. A little is all you need, it spreads well and full coverage, if you do use to much, wash it off because it will look very bad in a couple hours.

i just want to say that this foundation is absolutely wonderful for my skin tonewhile i'm not too sure about the anti-aging properties, i do know that the color match on the lightest shade has the perfect balance of not too pink and not too yellow for my incredibly fair skin. i have this odd complexion of almost yellow but with super pink cheeks and no freckles in siteand this is wonderful for evening out, and provides a smooth medium to full coverage. i recommend this for anyone with light skin, but my friend with a deeper complexion said this was much too pink for her. i suggest you test it on your jaw in your local drug store to get a proper match before purchasing :) also, another think is... THIS IS HORRIBLE FOR DRY SKIN! this formula is very dry and stays between dewy and matte all day for my extremely oily skin, so i don't think it would be well for dry skin. since this formula is so dry, i also recommended using a damn sponge of sorts to apply rather than a brush if you are trying to achieve a flawless coverage. overall, it works wonders for me!

Kids Sunscreen Lotion

I love this stuff.I use it on my kiddos all the time.I abandoned aerosol sunscreens about 2 years ago because I was not getting the coverage that my children needed. Beyond Coastal Kids Natural Spf 30 Sunscreen

I am fair skinned, cannot stand being burned.We spent a week at the beach I used this everyday and I never burned it works good.The only complaint I might have is that it is hard to spread.It goes on like a thick white goop and once you get it spread you are covered, but spreading it can be a challenge.I am an adult and only used it on adults, We didn't have any babies around to try it on.
