I had to go back to the description of this item to make sure it was the same thing I ordered.What I received and what this looks like are two different things altogether!I received what would be described as a squeeze-tube paint brush!!It's difficult to get the sunscreen to squeeze out of the tube, muchless brush onto my ink!What I received is a terribly messy design of this product and I would not recommend it at all!
I am basing this review on my initial impressions of the product; I have not been using it long term. First of all, it's not really a "pen" as it's described and pictured. It's more of a brush in a toothpaste-like tube. I don't know if I received the wrong product, but on the tube it even says "Precision Sunscreen Brush." That being said, the product suits my needs perfectly. The gel is nice and thick and goes on smoothly. The brush allows for nice, even coverage, and I was still even able to get into the fine lines and tips of my tattoo. This is definitely better than me clumsily globbing on sunscreen with my finger. This product is also fragrance free, which is a bonus. SPF 30 and will slip easily into my purse or back pocket. 1.4 fl.oz. Directions on the tube do say that you should wash out the brush after a week to prevent it from getting hard we'll see how long-term use goes.
