Aloe Gator SPF 15 Lotion (.3-Ounce)

Aloe Gator SPF 15 LotionI have purchased this product after a friend's suggestion. I spend a lot of time on the water for kiteboarding, sometime a full day getting 'n out. Well, this is the product you should buy. I have used it in gel or lotion. the gel is little bit sticky but works well. I have opted for the lotion, since I can't find the gel with SPF 15. This is the first year I haven't peeled on my head.

My sons use and swear that the gel formulation is the way to go when surfing for hours.I wasn't crazy about the sticky feel of the gel but was impressed by the Aloe Gator SPF effectiveness so thought I'd give this a try.Feels much better than the gel.Goes on fairly easily and gives good protection from the sun.I usually go red no matter what I've used in the past. This stuff kept me from burning, no redness and no sticky feeling.A win, win all the way around.I'd certainly reccommend this product to anyone who loves the sun,

Oregon Mint Lip Balm - 0.15 oz - Balm

Oregon Mint Lip Balm - 0.15 oz - BalmI like Burt's Bees peppermint lip balm; I think it protects well and I like the admittedly strong peppermint essence. Despite my fondness for that product, I have met people that think Burt's Bees peppermint balm stings when it is applied and also believe it is too aggressive in its flavoring. Wild Carrot Herbals Oregon Mint Lip Balm is a good alternative for the individuals out there that do not like Burt's Bees peppermint lip balm for these reasons.

While it is very clear upon application that this is intended to be a peppermint lip balm, Wild Carrots Herbals lip balm is much more subtle in its use of peppermint than Burt's Bees. The coverage is a little heavier than Burt's Bees. The thicker, waxier consistency leads me to believe that some users would need to apply Wild Carrots Herbals Oregon Mint Balm with lesser frequency than Burt's Bees. I live in the Midwest where it is often cold and dry. This lip balm has done a good job keeping my lips smooth and moisturized. I would purchase this product again. Note: Wild Carrots does not add SPF to its lip balms.

Ingredients: coconut oil, beeswax, meadow foam seed oil, olive fruit oil, shea butter, non-GMO tocopherols, mentha piperita essential oil

This lip balm is made in the United States.

I purchase my lip balm directly from the Wild Carrots website; it is more economical.

Kinesys SPF 30 Sunscreen Spray - Kids

KINeSYS Spray-On Sunscreen, SPF 30, Kids, Fragrance-Free, 4-Ounce BottlesAfter using this on my 22 month old, I noticed red, dry skin on her ears, chin and cheeks.I did use it again after the original symptoms cleared up to see if this was the culprit versus something else and the redness and dry skin came back.

I LOVE Kinesys sunscreens! I first learned of them from the Environmental Working Group study of 1,000 sunscreens Kinesys was rated #1 spray sunscreen. After that, I started using religiously and it's the best sunscreen I've ever used. I'm fair (as is my family) and this sunscreen keeps us protected and I love the spray application (as for Jen's review, if you don't apply properly, you might burn).

Also, they're environmentally-friendly non-aerosol spray, carbon-neutral, vegan and cruelty-free, with recyclable/recycled packaging!

Best sunscreen I've ever used!

This is one mighty little bottle, it goes on light and silky and protects you pretty much all day long, unless... Unless you take a swim in chlorinated waters, which wash away the product and after you really really have to reapply.I boasted about the product to a chem. professor, who read the ingredients and told me to reapply after pool.It is fine in the ocean's salt water though.

Beyond this, it's great. We just came back from the scorching sun of the carribeah where my so-white-it-hurts-your-eyes daughter spent hours in the sun with nothing but a swim diaper and kinesys on it, and she did not even get pink.Of course, i reapplied after and during pool.

I am very fair and would prefer to stay that way, but every time I apply sunscreen, it just makes me cringe. That smell, the texture.I'm officially in heaven after buying this product. The scent is like a light tropical suntan lotion, rather than that sunscreen-y smell that seems to cling to everything. The texture is light, so whether it's applied to your face or body, you don't feel like you're coated in a powdery, greasy film.Do your skin a favor, and give this one a try.

This is pricey, but the best rated spray on sunscreen for children.I do a lot of research on sunscreen for my son after finding out that I was using one that is TOXIC to children!!AHHH, mommy nightmare!!

This sprays on nicely.Dries quickly and does not leave a sticky residue AT ALL!

Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes it's worth it.This is one of those things.I will buy this OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!

i love this product. and you can only find it in salons, and now you can't find it there anymore, because they all started caring the newer stuff. but to me this is the best to keep your hair in place not have that glue filling, and at night just brush your hair andyou will never know you had it in and it smell good too, and makes your hair smell great as well. i have dry, thick curly hair, but i can straighten my hair , use a small amount of this and my hair is shiny and smooth as the next persons.

This is the best hair goop ever. I was shocked when I went to buy it and they no longer made it. I guess because it lasts too long! You only need a drop and it not only spikes out your hair but also gives it great shine. Great for course or wavy hair, or curly hair that is flattened! Love it!

Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Peach Kiss, 0.15 Ounce

Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Peach Kiss, 0.15 OunceI have purchased many different tinted lip balms in search of the "perfect" product.I've often been disappointed, either by the poor texture of the balm or by the unnatural color. However, I heard good things about Maybelline's Baby Lips line, so I decided to give this a try in the "Peach Kiss" variety.

Overall, I like this product a lot.It has a very nice, fruity scent, a bit more like grape than peaches too me.The balm goes on smooth and feels great on my lips.I love that the product contains SPF as well, and also that there no irritating ingredients (I've had trouble with peppermint oil in particular in other products). My only slight problem is with the peach color--although I do like it, the tint is VERY subtle, and, at least on my own lips, barely noticeable. Also, I've noticed that after a few hours, my lips seem to feel a bit on the dry side.

Still, I am very satisfied with this product overall.I will probably try at least one of the other shades to see if the color has a bit more intensity to it.I would definitely recommend Baby Lips, but I would suggest you buy in stores rather than on Amazon, where you can find the balm for less than half the price listed here.

Edited 2/20/12:I've now tried another shade; please see my review for Grape Vine: Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Grape Vine, 0.15 Ounce.

arrived as described, factory sealed (i ordered from another seller and it came used! ew!) nice subtle color, doesn't go on sticky. Not the best lip moisturizing but feels good going on.

Want Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Peach Kiss, 0.15 Ounce Discount?

I adore this line. I own the peppermint one already and just bought a second one of that!

This one I did not buy off here considering it was at my local walmart for 2.97 (much more reasonable). THOUGH, it is VERY hard to find in stores. I had to go to three that claimed to have it only to find they were either sold out or there used to be a price tag for it and yet the product under the tag was something completely different. SO, it might take a while to find, but it's worth it.

It works just a like the other one I own. Goes on smoothly. Has a little bit of shimmer in it and is a nice nude sheen. The taste is also a fruity sort of taste and not too overbearing. I love it. I wear it more like a lipstick/gloss than balm. But it's a really great product and unlike other reviews I have seen a dramatic difference in my lips. It took a little longer than 2 weeks (which I think is what the packaging promotes) but they don't crack or flake as much as they used to only maybe once in a few weeks if I haven't been wearing any balm for a while.

So, I would totally recommend this to anyone. It has SPF and is supposed to help with sun care. Though it can feel a little "greasy" but if you are used to glosses then it shouldn't be a problem. Or just apply one pass of the balm more often.

Sons Of Outlaw 99xxx WTF! Wild Tingle Formula 9oz

Sons Of Outlaw 99xxx WTF! Wild Tingle Formula 9ozIt has no odor which makes the skin have a bad odor after being in the bed. It has NO tingle effect and I have experienced absolutely NO color enhancement after using the lotion. I would not recommend this product to anyone.....save your money and spend it on something worthy.

This is a fake product! According to the Hoss Sauce website, the bottle cap is supposed to be black. The bottle I received is silver. I have read great reviews about this lotion, but what I received from this seller was crap. I have been tanning for years and have tried many lotions, including this one. What I received I got no color, felt no tingle, and the actual lotion was near to impossible to rub in. No legitimate product made by such a wellknown company with thousands of positive reviews can be so terrible. DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER!

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Daily Face Shield SPF 40+

Laura Mercier Daily Face Shield SPF 40/1 oz.I didn't love the texture of this, it was a little tacky but I was ok with it because it was spf 40 which I wanted because so many face lotions are spf 20-30. But the very next morning I woke up with a pimple. I tried it again a few days later, same thing. I'm not certain which ingredient I have an issue with but I hope to find out soon to avoid this problem because the same thing just happened with the Stila BB illuminating cream.

Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer

Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer with Helioplex, SPF 50, 1.7 OunceDue to having sensitive skin and medical skin conditions, I have been going to an exceptional dermatologist for years.I want to share this information with you because it comes from a dr. who has expertise.Neutragena with helioplex is the ONLY sunblock he ever recommended to me because it blocks out the UVB? rays and doesn't break down in one hour.I get confused with the UVA and UVB rays.Furthermore, the sunblock they put in your foundation, moisturizer, etc....wears away after one hour. The result; you and your face have absolutely NO protection against the sun.Neutrogena with Helioplex is the only sun protection I need.I love the healthy defense daily moisturizer in the winter because it is light and creamy and I KNOW I am getting the protection.I use it as a moisturizer and love the softness and deweyness of it under my light foundation because I'm 53 years old and dewey is what looks best.P.S. If you're in your 40's it is time to stop wearing powder over your foundation which will creep into crevices. Even if you don't have crevices, a dewey look is youthful than a powdered look.Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50 with Helioplex 1.7 oz (50 g)The Ultra Sheer dry touch sunblock (Neutrogena with helioplex) SPF 55 is a little stronger, but I use it in the spring and summer for more protection; even though I avoid the sun like a vampire. I also add a few drops on the top of my cheekbone every day because it adds a soft sheerness that I have never found in any make-up products. My sister loves the SPF 70 and I find it's cakey and white. (However, I will use it if I know that I'm going to be somewhere where the brutal summer sun will hit my face.)But, Neutrogena needs to be purchased with the HELIOPLEX to work and it doesn't break down in one hour.I want to keep my skin at 53 years old protected against skin cancer and youthful. I hope this provides information that will help people understand about SPF.

Both my husband and I use this moisturizer because it's not greasy, is unscented, doesn't burn my skin and has 30SPF.My skin is sensitive and some of things in other moisturizers, even by Neutrogena, sting when I put them on.My husband uses this to protect the top of his head from the sun;many sunscreens run when one perspires--this one doesn't. So we both use it and go through it fairly fast.My only complaint is the packaging issmall--so I bought 2 tubes at once. The Amazon price is quite good--I've found it cheaper, but usually it retails for about $4-5 more than what I paid here. It's pricey for a sunscreen but not bad for a moisturizer with sunscreen.

I had used Cetaphil SPF 50 moisturizer before, but it left likeawhite tinted thick greasy and shiny layer on my face.

THis does not! ALso it's helioplex so it's better. It's scentless and moisturizes, but it does not leave a thick layer on your face, nd it doesnt have a tint either.

:D

I have used this for about 3 weeks. I use once a day in the mornings. At the rate I am going I will go through 1 (1.7 fl oz) tube every 2 months.

pros

-spf 30

-physical sunblock, not chemical

-not greasy (I have oily skin so this is the big plus for me)

-can't say it helped my acne, but it didn't increase my acne

-dries very quickly

-little bit of moisturizer, if your face just feels a little tight after cleaning this will help that

-basically a sunblock with a little moisturizer in it

-didn't cause a rash

-very, very little smell(sunblock smell)

cons

-turns my pale face paler (think thinner version of the sunblock lifeguards use on their nose)

-must apply evenly or you see streaks, use a mirror (rubbed in a little extra on a dry patch of skin without looking and looked in the mirror at lunch and I could see a white circle where I applied it)

-need to use a lot (about 3 pearls worth of product per application)

-not enough moisturizer to help dry skin, especially if its peeling

I will keep looking for a better moisturizer.I used to have the near perfect moisturizer for my skin but it has been discontinued. Please bring back aveeno skin brightening daily moisturizer spf 15, but make it unscented if possible.

I've been using this Neutrogena product loyally for years. When I got my latest shipment from Amazon, I immdediately noticed they had changed their bottle and that it now had "helioplex" in it.Unfortunately, this product now irritates my skin and turns it red and patchy.I'm disappointed they changed a formula that was perfectly fine to begin with.I'm sorry to say I'm going to have to stop using this product and look for a new day moisturizer with spf.

I have been using PCA's pHaze 7 for nearly 8 years now and love it!It's lightweight, isn't greasy, and doesn't make me breakout. In fact, I have acne prone skin, and it is one of the few sunblock-moisturizers that I feel actually helps improve my overall skin clarity.I don't intend to switch products any time soon, and highly recommend it (even though it is a bit pricey).

Blue Lizard Blue Lizard Australian Sensitive Sunscreen Spf 30 Plus

Blue Lizard Sunscreen Sensitive chemical frr, Fragrance free, SPF 30+, 3fl.ozLike many others, I have been searching for a zinc oxide/titanium dioxide sunscreen that rubs in easily, doesn't leave a heavy white residue, is not greasy, contains no fragrance, doesn't sting my eyes during sports, and really offers great sun protection.Wow, for me, this product meets all of these criteria and I really loved it.I was about to order more on Amazon when I discovered that Blue Lizard sunblocks all contain parabens (actually three different parabens) which essentially are preservatives used in the cosmetic industry. One of the safety concerns is that parabens mimic estrogen in the body and could disrupt hormone activity.I suppose this could be more of a concern for children, adolescents, pregnant women and men (I'm none of the above) but I don't want to take the risk. More and more companies are dropping parabens from their products. It may be one thing to put on a touch of eye shadow with parabens, but I spread this sunscreen liberally over my entire body.So the search goes on.

EDIT dated 4/27/12

There were a few comments on the above review. One person said that she was confused because Blue Lizard advertises that their products contain no parabens.Another said he/she ordered the 5 oz. Blue Lizard Sensitive and it said on the label that it contained no parabens.I recently purchased the 3oz. Sensitive because the Amazon description listed the ingredients and parabens were not included. When I received the product, the package clearly stated it contained three separate parabens. The product was not expired, however. (As always, it was Amazon fulfilled so free shipping return and credit for product.)This is all very confusing but what it does highlight is that the Amazon photos and descriptions (of all their products, not just sunscreens) are not necessarily correct.I've run into this problem on more than one occasion. Here's what I believe is going on.Originally, all Blue Lizard Sunscreens contained parabens. In 2010 the company said it was eliminating them from the "Face" product. This year they announced they would be removing parabens from all products. Apparently Amazon or their vendors are shipping their inventories of the older products with parabens although Amazon is describing the product as paraben free.It also appears that some vendors are shipping the newer product (see comment about the 5 oz sensitive) although the Amazon description does not describe it as paraben free. I guess it is a crap shoot.

EDIT dated 6/11/12

I finally got a response from the folks who manufacture Blue Lizard about the paraben issues. Here is what they said:

"Our Blue Lizard Face, Sensitive, and Baby formulas are now paraben free. We are updating our website but in the meantime the old formula is still in circulation through many websites and retail stores. When ordering from any website other than ours you will need to ask them to see which formula they have in stock. All Face, Sensitive, and Baby in our warehouse are the new paraben free formulas. Blue Lizard sunscreens have a three year expiration on them so the old formula could be around at least that long if not sold through since we released our last batches earlier this year. I have attached the new ingredients for you to look at."

The problem is, the Amazon descriptions and photos of the product are not always accurate; there is essentially no way to contact Amazon or the merchant vendors to ask whether they are shipping the paraben free version or not.So without more accurate descriptions, the only way to be sure you get a paraben free version of the face, baby or sensitive formulas is to order from the mfgr. or buy retail where you can read the label. I received a face formula that was paraben free and a sensitive formula that was not.

I emailed the Blue Lizard folks again and asked where I can buy the product retail. She said that in my area (DC area) it was available in some Bye Bye Baby stores.Drove to one today and sure enough they had Face, Sensitive, and Baby (essentially the same as Sensitive) all paraben free. They have it in 8.75 oz. bottles which I prefer.A little more costly than Amazon's but at least I know I am getting the parben free inventory.

I have tried several "sensitive" sunscreens but they still made me break out and turned my skin sort of leathery. After finding this brand on the Safe Skin Cosmetics Database, and liked it's broad spectrum coverage without chemicals, I decided to plop down more money for yet another sunscreen.I was surprised when this one didn't irritate my skin and actually made my skin softer!

Points to consider:* This sunscreen can be used on the face, as it will change from white to clear after you rub it in.IMPORTANTLY though, in order for this to rub in you have to apply it to DRY SKIN (indicated on the bottle) and don't use too much right away because you will have too much on your face to absorb (this stuff goes a long way)

* It uses a physical barrier to uv light compared to a chemical barrier. You can read about the difference below:

As described by Dr. Leslie Baumann in the textbook Cosmetic Dermatology, there are two different categories of sunscreens: physical sunscreens, which scatter or reflect UV radiation, and chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV radiation and then dissipate the radiation as either heat or light, usually of longer wavelength that does not affect the skin.

Two chemical sunscreens, avobenzone and oxybenzone (the latter present in 20-30% of sunscreens), have been demonstrated by Hayden et. al to be absorbed into the body and secreted into the urine of users. While avobenzone and oxybenzone are not considered to be toxic agents in the medical community, it is still not recommended that sunscreens with avobenzone or oxybenzone are used by pregnant or nursing women nor small children, as they are absorbed into the body. Physical sunscreens, like Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen Cream SPF 30 with 5.0% Titanium Dioxide and 10.0% Zinc Oxide, are a preferrable option, as they have not been shown to be excreted into the urine.

Buy Blue Lizard Blue Lizard Australian Sensitive Sunscreen Spf 30 Plus Now

Cosmetics database rates this brand very highly for safety, effectiveness at blocking uva rays and keeping stable. That's why I bought it.It goes on thick but not greasy. Also doesn't smell strongly of anything. And the active ingredients actually physically block the bad rays rather than absorbing them so you get much better protection.I used to wonder why the heck I still burned using spf 30+ cheapo sunscreens (thought spf was all I needed to pay attention to turns out you can't rely on that alone)and it must have been the ingredients because with this stuff I don't burn. And a little goes a long way too, so makes the price more bearable.

My daughter has PMLE (polymorphous light eruption). In other words she's allergic to the sun, when her skin is exposed to the sun she develops blisters and an itchy, mealy red rash within minutes. Fortunately, for her, this is a mild allergy and she is able to go outside ONLY using THIS sunscreen! This is the FIRST sunscreen we have found that actually protects her skin from the sun and gives her the freedom to go out and enjoy a sunny day! Unfortunately, NONE of our local stores carry it and we are forced to order it online. I'm telling you that if you need good sun protection, this is the stuff to use!!

Badger Natural Sport Sunscreen SPF 35

Badger Natural Sport Sunscreen SPF 35If you are in the market for a mineral sunscreen, Badger Sport Sunscreen SPF 35 is a very good option. Aside from zinc oxide, it has only five other ingredients. It is water-resistant which can be a problem of other very fine products from distributors such as Purple Prairie Botanicals which aren't water-resistant.

If you are not familiar with this type of product, namely mineral sunscreens, you need to keep in mind:

Mineral sunscreens, unlike chemical ones, do not absorb into your skin. They act as a physical barrier to the sun's damaging rays. This is in marked contrast to chemical sunscreens that rely on chemicals to disperse the sun's damaging rays. These chemicals are absorbed by the skin and are the problem. If you check out EWG.org, you will see a listing of each ingredient in the sunscreen you select and the potential damage (allergy, hormone disruption, cancer, etc.).

Mineral sunscreens rely on Zinc or Titanium minerals as their primary ingredient. Because of this, you are going to have to deal with a white residue from mineral sunscreens (thus, their name). In my research, this is the most common complaint. My family concurs with this -especially if you put on the amount you are supposed to.

Lastly, people have complained about the odor of this sunscreen. This can easily be solved by looking at the very SMALL list of ingredients: olive oil, beeswax, cacao seed butter, shea butter, jojoba seed oil. For me, it smells of olive oil and shea butter.

I wish that the size of the tube and the cost were a bit more equitable considering how much you are to put on to maintain the SPF.

The Badger Unscented Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sport Sunscreen is given a very high safety rating by the EWG Skin Deep Cosmetics Database which means that it contains no known potential irritants, carcinogens or other toxic ingredients. Also, its efficacy in providing UVB/UVA protection is highly rated. However, I have two problems with this sunscreen:

1.My primary concern is that this sunscreen is extremely thick, quite possibly the thickest sunscreen I have ever tried! For that reason, I am limited as to its use and cannot use it on my face.I would rather not have to buy a separate sunscreen for my face and therefore prefer sunscreens with more of a lotion consistency for faster, easier application anywhere.

2.This unscented sunscreen has a strong, definite scent which, although not that unpleasant, is not supposed to be there! The scent is very similar to that of my colloidal oatmeal hand lotion and could be due in part to shea butter, a common ingredient in both.

Bottom line:If you need a very safe, effective sunscreen for any part of your body other than your face and don't mind a distinctive scent, this would certainly be worth a try!

Buy Badger Natural Sport Sunscreen SPF 35 Now

I'd been using Coppertone Sport SPF 50 for the last few years, which seemed to work fine, but recently, I've been having photo-sensitivity issues, where despite accurately applying the sunscreen, I'd break out in nasty hives (and occasionally, welts) from being outside. Not so good when you're a nature photographer & outside in the Texas heat!I'm also day-glo white, thanks to a job that keeps me indoors for the majority of the day (seriously, I swear I glow in the dark), and my fair skin is highly prone to sunburn, so a good, protecting sunscreen is a MUST.

After receiving high Environmental Safety ratings, and reading up on Badger Sunscreens, I thought I'd give this a try.

The Good:

* I haven't any photo-sensitivity issues with this sunscreen. Not one single itch, hive, or welt.

* There is a scent, and as another reviewer stated, it smells vaguely of oatmeal.I tend to be somewhat sensitive to odor, but this didn't bother me.

The Bad:

* Sad to say, I still ended up sunburned. Not as bad if I'd gone without, so I'll give it some credit there

* I do know that with a mineral-based sunscreen, you have to rub & rub & rub it in, yet despite doing that, allowing about 10 minutes before allowing contact with cloth (ie, my shirt), and a full 1/2 hour before going out into the sun, it still ended up rubbing off all over my car, my camera bag, my clothes, and everything else.

* It also sweated off fairly easily, particularly at the crooks of my elbows.

* As another reviewer pointed out, it's also greasy.I always end up washing my hands after application, before I can touch anything, and I still end up having to scrub.

As the title says, I really don't know how to call this one the good is enough to keep me using it, but I'm quickly getting disillusioned, and looking for other alternatives.

CONS: 1) This sunscreen is sooo greasy that you will leave residue all over anything you touch (i.e. my car stearing wheel, my clothes, cellphone, anything!). I felt gross. 2) It leaves a white cast on your skin no matter how much you rub it in. I looked like a Japanese Kabuki actor walking around my neighborhood. And I'm already pretty white to begin with. 3) It is very thick, so rubbing it in is difficult. I had to tug at my skin, which may've caused more wrinkles than the sunscreen was supposed to prevent. 4) The scent is NOT unscented. It smells like oatmeal dough batter, but... not very good dough. Someone else described it smelling like dog biscuits. That's fairly accurate.

PROS: 1) I was very confident in the protection it provided. It has one of the highest levels of zinc oxide available on the market. 2) The ingredients are non chemical and safe for use according to the Environmental Working Group's 2012 Sunscreen Guide. It was rated as one of the best sunscreens.

Sadly I had to return it. It is ok if you plan to go out and get all sweaty (like at the beach or for sports). But for an everyday sunscreen, I couldn't handle it. Sorry Badger! I'm sticking with my Burn Out Clean and Clear.

The Badger Natural Sport Sunscreen protects from the sun well, but there are a couple of things that make it not one of my more favorite sunscreens. One it's doesn't soak in easily, it takes forever and you have to rub in until your skin almost hurts to get it to soak in, the second, is then is doesn't come off easily, and I mean in the shower with soap and water, it's really hard to get that clean feeling on your skin after using this. But as far as protection this did well as long as you reapply every couple of hours.

Australian Gold GELEE W/HEMP SEED 8.5 OZwhat can i say? this has to be the best tanning lotion i have yet to use and continue to go back to. i hate the fake orange look you get from most lotions and with that said, i refuse to buy anything with a "bronzer" in it. who wants to look like a carrot stick? i want to look as natural as possible and that's what this product gives you.

Platinum Protection Facial Sunscreen

Platinum Protection Facial SunscreenI am always looking for additional SPF and this one is amazing under makeup! It isn't oily and doesn't have that "sunscreen" scent.I use it alone too and it doesn't clog my pores or break me out like some more popular brands do.While a little pricey to slather on the kiddos at the pool if you need to it works!

Best sunscreen, not greasy. Good coverage. Tried lots of sunscreens. This one works! It is best sunscreen for your money.

Tatoo Armor Precision Sunscreen Pen, .4 g

Tatoo Armor Precision Sunscreen Pen, .4 gI had to go back to the description of this item to make sure it was the same thing I ordered. What I received and what this looks like are two different things altogether!I received what would be described as a squeeze-tube paint brush!!It's difficult to get the sunscreen to squeeze out of the tube, muchless brush onto my ink! What I received is a terribly messy design of this product and I would not recommend it at all!

I am basing this review on my initial impressions of the product; I have not been using it long term. First of all, it's not really a "pen" as it's described and pictured. It's more of a brush in a toothpaste-like tube. I don't know if I received the wrong product, but on the tube it even says "Precision Sunscreen Brush." That being said, the product suits my needs perfectly. The gel is nice and thick and goes on smoothly. The brush allows for nice, even coverage, and I was still even able to get into the fine lines and tips of my tattoo. This is definitely better than me clumsily globbing on sunscreen with my finger. This product is also fragrance free, which is a bonus. SPF 30 and will slip easily into my purse or back pocket. 1.4 fl.oz. Directions on the tube do say that you should wash out the brush after a week to prevent it from getting hard we'll see how long-term use goes.
