I bought this product based on the reviews I read that it was better than the stick version. I was disappointed and now I have 23 tubes of this! It goes on more "wet" than the stick which I don't like. I feel like it doesn't absorb into my lips the way the stick does and feel like I have to re-apply more often than the stick. I guess I'll give them out to people and see what they think but for me I'm going back to the stick version.
Lip balm is pretty basic stuff, but I have been using this product for many years for 3 reasons.First, it isn't flavored.I'm a guy and I don't want any girly type lip balm.Second, it is SPF 15 so it protects you from the sun and lastly, the applicator tip is exactly the type I like.I have tried many other ones and of course they all work, but this one seems to work the best for me.Amazon, seems to be the only place I can find this stuff too all the stores I frequent stopped carrying it for some reason, so I buy it in bulk from Amazon.12 of these tubes lasts me for years.....

I'm on my 2nd 12-pack over the past 5 years. I throw it in each car and every backpack so I always have one handy.
Pros
-Includes sunblock. Your lips are a fragile mucus membrane and burn much more easily than your skin. Your lips may be burned without even realizing it. If your lips are frequently dry and cracked, that could be due to chronic sun damage. Preventing skin cancer is a nice ancillary benefit.
-The vaseline base goes on easier, stays on better, and lasts longer than waxy chapsticks.
-The tube will not leak. I've beaten up many tubes and none have cracked or broken. The top screws on tightly. Waxy chapsticks can melt and leak through their popcaps.
Cons
For some reason, I can't find it available in stores which means I'm forced to buy 12 at a time on Amazon.
My husband works on a boat so he has the chapstick tube in his pocket and he hates the ones with the pop-on lid because they seem to come off really easy and also melt so the tube is great its a twist-on/off lid and there is no way for it to melt out. My husband basically inhales them HAHAHAHAHA
No need to say more we love the TUBES !!!!! not the stick!!!
