I did not purchase this from Amazon, but from a reputable online drug store. I appears to be one of the few sunscreens for hair. The bottle doesn't give the SPF factor, but I'm hoping it does what is says for protection against harmful UV rays. Once it's in your hair, it seems to work for detangling and conditioning, especially when at the beach or washing it out later in the shower. Having said this, the only thing I don't agree with is the smell. It has a funky, fruity scent when spraying it in. I actually thought it was a defect, alerted the vendor, and they shipped another bottle to me sourced from a different location/ warehouse (I tracked the origin). The 2nd bottle arrived and it had that same odd smell. It's not really bad, but one that could definitely use improvement.
