I never write these reviews, but once I read the ones that were posted, I felt I had to.I have been using this product line for six years, and I LOVE the results.It is a bit more expensive than brands you can purchase at a local Target or Walmart, but not nearly as pricey as some department or "designer" brands.I always buy the three-pack from amazon because it really is a good deal, and it lasts a lot longer.About 18 months ago, I went to purchase the Cell Mate SPF 15, and when the order arrived, it was different.The packaging was different and the container said SPF 10.I thought I'd give it a try since I love everything else I use by this company.IT WAS HORRIBLE!!It left a thin, white film on my face (as the other reviewers have described), never seemed to soak in, and even smelled different.I kept using it because I had spent the money, but I hated it.When I went to re-order, I checked and double-checked to be sure that it was SPF 15.I only ordered the single package, and it was back to the orginal formula.I just purchased a three-pack again and couldn't be happier.I don't know why Kiss My Face or amazon switched the products for the one shipment, but if you are looking for the original, this is it.The package does look different, but the product is the same!
I don't care for this product in the slightest although it IS organic and contains no parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrance or animal ingredients. Nor was it tested on animals.That's all great and the very reason why I purchased it in the first place ~ even though it is outrageously pricey.
First of all I agree with reviewer run4cancer regarding the ghostly white film which never gets absorbed into the skin.The pale face is very unattractive and makes me look sick.My worse problem however is that this darn stuff makes my face itch like crazy and I simply cannot use it.It's maddening and I can't figure out why I react this way either.I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the formula, or I haven't been up until now.The itchiness is so unbearable for me, I had to give away the other two tubes which came in the pack and threw my tube away.Even the two ladies I gave it to hate it.Such a waste.That really hurts considering how much Kiss My Face Organics Cell Mate Facial Creme & Sunscreen, SPF 10, 1-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) costs.It is way too expensive and I had to be nuts to buy it.
This product may be organic and high quality but I hate it and can't recommend it.I have been using Cell Mate for the past 7 years. I don't know why they changed the formula but it is terrible. This leaves a thin coat of white moisturizer behind that does not blend in or disappear. the entire day you will walk around with a ghostly white glow.
Very few sunscreen products have a fresh, fruity floral fragrance. It is quite delicious and contains floral water of Lavender, Chamomile and Geranium Oil.
The creamy white lotion absorbs quickly and keeps your skin nourished while you are out in the sun. I applied this all over before going out to sit in the sun and I actually did tan a bit with this product. My skin will normally refuse to tan very much if I use even an SPF 15.
If you love products with essential oils, this one will completely impress. It made me feel so relaxed, like I was tanning in the middle of a lavender field. This is a product you can use daily or use before you go out in the sun to read or garden.
