I love the creaminess of this product.It leaves the area around my eyes feeling smooth and moisturized.I haven't noticed any "lightening" around my eye area, but my eye makeup does seem to go on smoother.The only problem I've noticed with this eye cream is that when I put it on before bed, it has actually left bleach-type stains on my pillowcase, so you may not want to wear it to bed.I would recommend this eye cream to anyone.The price may seem high but it will last a very long time.This product didn't work for me.I have very dry under eye skin.The product didn't provide moisturizing.I didn't notice any change in the dark circles either.Save 59% Off

I have tried a lot of foundations and this liquid foudation is the best one yet.I had been using bare minerals for a few years and felt like my face was starting to dry out.Then I was looking around and found this liquid mineral foundation.I still use the powder minerals when I am in a hurry but really love this stuff.It covers everything I need to cover without it looking cakey or made up. It also matching my skin color so good that it really doesn't look like I have any make up on.
The price is completely fair because it goes so far. It doesn't take much and it STAYS ON until you're ready to remove it.When it says 'all day' it means it.It doesn't matter what I do in this makeup.I can go to work, go out in the heat of the day all day, swim, or workout and the stuff still stays on.
Other makeups have always caused me breakouts and some others have just faded away into my skin after awhile, but this stuff is amazing.It cleared my skin instantly when I began using it due to some of the great ingredients in it and it doesn't ever fade away.I've probably tried most every makeup out there. I've tried the department store makeups, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Merle Norman, Mary Kay, Avon, Bare Minerals, some of those I liked BUT to me there is no makeup that equals this stuff.
It's a liquid mineral makeup so it's very healthy for your skin. Also, unlike the powdered mineral makeups it doesn't settle in the fine lines of my face.Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without it.I love it!

I am always on the search for a "perfect" foundation that is natural looking. I have tried mineral makeup like Bare Escentuals and I think Illuminare is a superior product with the caveat that everyone's skin is different. I have relatively oily skin but need coverage of blotchiness and shine. I still have to blot with oil absorbing sheets throughout the day (as with any makeup if you are really oily) but my skin feels lighter, cleaner, and less clogged with this product. FYI, I'm in my late 20's and have relatively large pores and some fine lines. It is hard to find a makeup that doesn't accentuate pores and feel heavy/oily/cakey. This is one of the few. It seems to minimize pores and reduce shine for a bit, and it stays on ALL DAY. And with SPF, how could you ask for more? It is expensive but this stuff lasts forever. You only need a tiny amount, and that is the key to applying it properly. I just use my fingers to apply in the middle part of my face and it blends very well.If you have very dry skin, this is not the one for you (but they have a moisturizing formula as well). The coverage is great if you want a lot, but you can make it very light and natural as well. I rarely give positive reviews on products but this one has grown on me. I thought this foundation would be good, something different that would stay on through humidity and long days.The first time I tried the foundation, I did not blend it correctly and it looked grainy and whiter than other patches of skin.I tried to blend it, but the thick consistency did not allow me to do so.I ended up trying to take it off but it was very hard to get off, especially with a cream cleanser.The Alabaster is way too white for ivory skin and I ended up looking sort of vampirish if you blend it well enough you can tone that down.It doesnot cover small spots well it did not cover redness on my cheek and when I tried to use extra foundation to cover it, I could not blend it over my imperfections.This foundation is very thick and very grainy.Think of putting caulk on your face.It seems to get a little mask-like in consistency.I did not like the small toothpaste tube it came in.I would not be beyond ordering the Portofino color to give it a second chance.I thought maybe it was because the color was all wrong.The reasons I would give it a second chance are because I have no doubts that it would definitely stay on all day, even through humidity.There is no bad smell to the makeup.Blended very carefully it does make the skin look smooth and perfected.Additionally, I partially blame myself for buying a color that I believe is too white.This is not for people who want a sheer, natural coverage.If you are scared of it not coming off or being hard to get off, you would not like this either.Durability and stability are important for me because of the different hot to cold conditions I'm in all day and for sweating.This is very different and takes a certain amount of skill to blend in just right.Not recommended for most, but if you need foundation with staying power, be sure to pick the right color.Want Illuminare - Ultimate All Day Foundation/Concealer Discount?

My skin is not a sensitive type and tolerates all of the facial creams. After only three applications my skin not only feels like it been scratched/pocked and in flames, but I have now rash all over my face.
I am in mid 30s, and I never had any kind of rash or major skin breakouts even when I was teenager. I find this product as something dangerous to try, unless you have nothing else to loose and/or this is your last option.
I didn't save receipt (and really sorry about it now) as I never reacted to any facial creams.
I am highly disappointed in this product!

I don't have sensitive skin at all and this stuff made the skin under and around my eyes burn and peel.I was beyond disappointed.I was mortified and looked like a maniac with red, peeling, irritated skin for about a week.I do not recommend this product for wrinkles around the eyes.

As everyone knows, 'you get what you pay for.' Never was this more true than in the case of this sunblock.Sure, it costs over $2,000 per bottle, but it's well worth the price. I am a huge neutrogena fan and have been for 35+ years.Neutrogena sunblock is wonderful.We consume all forms of Neutrogena sunblock.This wet application version is the latest addition to our arsenal which is wonderful at a water park, where frequent application is necessary and the kids are constantly sopping wet.This item is the bomb i bought it in stores and it helped. It's really SPF 70 because it's great! Other sunscreens stick and get white after you spray it on and it sticks to your body. But not this one.

This was my all time favorite moisturizer, but Avalon Organics changed their formula.It is now literally like white, sticky paste that you cannot rub in.YouCannot put makeup over it because the makeup mixes with the paste.So this was a HUGE waste of $30.It is literally unusuable.I am furious at the company for this dreadful change.
I have been using Avalon Organics now for a few years and this moisturizer is light and feels great under my mineral make-up. I sometimes even use it at night when I am not near my eye cream. It has done well in all other climates too where I wash my face with different types of water (Sometimes same products on my face do differently during my travels). The lavender scene SOMETIMES irritates my skin but I think I am rather used to it I may switch over at some point after reading Paula's book on "Don't go to the Cosmetics Counter without me" she did not even review the Avalon Organics line to my surprise but I do think the scents lately are just a bit strong and the SPF is rather low so even though it has those issues, I give it a 4 out of 5 because it is extremely reasonable in price and seems to have done really well on my skin over the last few years. Always explore with facial products. Every face is unique!

I never write these reviews, but once I read the ones that were posted, I felt I had to.I have been using this product line for six years, and I LOVE the results.It is a bit more expensive than brands you can purchase at a local Target or Walmart, but not nearly as pricey as some department or "designer" brands.I always buy the three-pack from amazon because it really is a good deal, and it lasts a lot longer.About 18 months ago, I went to purchase the Cell Mate SPF 15, and when the order arrived, it was different.The packaging was different and the container said SPF 10.I thought I'd give it a try since I love everything else I use by this company.IT WAS HORRIBLE!!It left a thin, white film on my face (as the other reviewers have described), never seemed to soak in, and even smelled different.I kept using it because I had spent the money, but I hated it.When I went to re-order, I checked and double-checked to be sure that it was SPF 15.I only ordered the single package, and it was back to the orginal formula.I just purchased a three-pack again and couldn't be happier.I don't know why Kiss My Face or amazon switched the products for the one shipment, but if you are looking for the original, this is it.The package does look different, but the product is the same!
I don't care for this product in the slightest although it IS organic and contains no parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrance or animal ingredients. Nor was it tested on animals.That's all great and the very reason why I purchased it in the first place ~ even though it is outrageously pricey.
First of all I agree with reviewer run4cancer regarding the ghostly white film which never gets absorbed into the skin.The pale face is very unattractive and makes me look sick.My worse problem however is that this darn stuff makes my face itch like crazy and I simply cannot use it.It's maddening and I can't figure out why I react this way either.I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the formula, or I haven't been up until now.The itchiness is so unbearable for me, I had to give away the other two tubes which came in the pack and threw my tube away.Even the two ladies I gave it to hate it.Such a waste.That really hurts considering how much Kiss My Face Organics Cell Mate Facial Creme & Sunscreen, SPF 10, 1-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) costs.It is way too expensive and I had to be nuts to buy it.
This product may be organic and high quality but I hate it and can't recommend it.I have been using Cell Mate for the past 7 years. I don't know why they changed the formula but it is terrible. This leaves a thin coat of white moisturizer behind that does not blend in or disappear. the entire day you will walk around with a ghostly white glow.
Very few sunscreen products have a fresh, fruity floral fragrance. It is quite delicious and contains floral water of Lavender, Chamomile and Geranium Oil.
The creamy white lotion absorbs quickly and keeps your skin nourished while you are out in the sun. I applied this all over before going out to sit in the sun and I actually did tan a bit with this product. My skin will normally refuse to tan very much if I use even an SPF 15.
If you love products with essential oils, this one will completely impress. It made me feel so relaxed, like I was tanning in the middle of a lavender field. This is a product you can use daily or use before you go out in the sun to read or garden.

Eucerin Every Day Protective Moisturizing Body Lotion, SPF 15, 13.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)
Updated 2010/0927I changed my rating from 5 to 3 because I found that over time my skin began to react to the lotion causing red rashes that would last a few days but then clear. Since I'm prone to skin allergies, I didn't associate it to the product right away as I had started off so well using it daily without any problem for me, I generally get a reaction right away if I have a sensativity to a product so I thought I had hit gold. Though my skin had a good first response to the product, in the end I had to stop using it as well as the face cream version which also caused the same allergic rashing under the eyes. So in general it was ok for occational use, but, in a daily use situation, I had problems with it over time. I can't recommend it anymore for that reason but as I note below, I've had allergic reactions to all the other SPF products as well.This one I had the least reaction to, but in the end, I had a bad reaction from daily use.

I was looking for SPF protection but have skin sensativities and had been allergic to everything I tried previously.My dematologist recomends Eucerin and I use several versions of the product regularly now and find it works better for me then anything else.Eucerin in general, feels a little greasy when it first goes on, but for me after about an hour is absorbed into the skin and is extremely effective in preventing cracking, drying, and irritations. It has NO fragrance added to it, which for me is essential.The SPF protection is a great idea and I was very glad to find this product.I'd recommend it to anyone with sensative skin looking for sun protection.This is light enough to where anytime, all day, going to work, etc., as a daily after shower moisturizer.
I live in Las Vegas, and I have really sensitive skin.I have found this to be a really great product.I was using the Original Eucerin Moisturizing lotion and got this to help protect from the intense Las Vegas sun.I use it every day after I get out of the shower. The first thing that I loved about it is that it goes on super smooth making it really easy to put on and leaving your skin smooth too.Yes it does leave a slight residue, but it is not greasy or unpleasant to me, like I said, it leaves the skin feeling very smooth. Mostly you feel the residue on your hands after you put it on, but it washes off with soap and water.And I have never noticed a residue on my clothes.I haven't had a problem with dry skin since I started using it, which is always a big problem where I live.And it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.There have been times when I have been outside for a couple of hours at a time and it has protected my skin very well.
The only con I have is that when you first put it on it has a slight mediciney smell.But that quickly goes away and I never notice it after I put it on.
So, I find this to be exactly what it says, Every Day Protective Moisturizing Lotion.If you actually planning on being outside for an extensive time, or in the water, I would recommend something more intensive or waterproof.But this is perfect if you never know when or how long you might be outside.I love it.
This leaves my skin feeling very greasy and I don't like the scent.I like Lubriderm much better.Very disappointed.I may obsess a bit about sun exposure (and yes, I know about the Vitamin D studies), but it's still the right thing to protect your skin this lotion is made by a highly respected company, has no nasty chemical odor, smooths on/absorbs and just does its job.I cannot find this anymore in local stores, so Amazon is my go-to (again).I love the combination of moisturizer and sunscreen.This lotion also has little to no fragrance which is a plus.

Alba Botanica Sunscreen Facial
As an Aesthetician (in training) I am constantly searching for products and reviews to see what will not only benefit me but my future clients. I'm also very eco-friendly and conscious about the environment. Most people are allergic to two things 1.) fragrances and 2.) preservatives. Avoiding products with both of those things will prevent you from breaking out with acne or hives. This sunscreen is really lovely. I enjoyed that it was not greasy ( one of my biggest pet peeves!) and had a decent SPF. If someone every mentions that they don't wear sunscreen because they want to get a tan tell them that you still get a tan with sunscreen minus the damage from the UVA and UVB rays!
I am an avid believer in using sunblock, even during non-summer months, and this sunblock works great.There was a story on the news recently about a man who wore Coppertone sunblock while barbecuing.He got singed by the grill and the highly flammable sunblock made the fire spread on his skin.This man has third degree burns from using sunblock!So I was determined to stay away from products like Coppertone and get something a little more natural.This doesn't make my skin itch.I don't feel like there's a thick film of product on me. The smell isn't too heavy or competitive with the fragrance I wear. Best part is that there was no white residue anywhere after application.You do have to remember to re-apply this every couple of hours but it's small enough to fit in my purse so re-applying does not constitute a great inconvenience for me.

This has a lovely consistencylike a rich but not too greasy lotion. It does not irritate my sensitive combination skin at all. It also doesn't leave that whitish cast on my dark skin. I have hyperpigmentation but want to still do my sports.This is so far the most user friendly sun block if you need to be in sun a while and want to wear out in public.
It is thick and like smearing on pork fat to put on and bit difficult and unpleasant to remove.
Can turn white and look a bit unsightly if in water or sweatnot for the vain.( A while in the water makes this wear away)
But I still faithfully use and one of the best products for someone with my sun sensitive skin condition.
Daily application for Kids for School in Costa Rica stays on and does not affect your eyes no tears.
We use it for swimming, beach, fishing and daily when in the sun.

I kitesurf and it's a pain to come out of the water every hour to add some more sunscreen that will wash off anyway banana sport etc.. they all wash off.
But Aloe Gator, granted it's al ittle greasy to apply and doesn't wash off that easily, but that is the all purpose for me.
I can now apply this to my face in the car and I am good to go for at least 6 to 8 hours.

This is the best sunblock I have ever used while engaging in outdoor water activities.It goes on a little greasy, but is quickly absorbed and doesn't leave any kind of tacky or oily film behind.As long as you apply it as directed (20 minutes before entering the water) this stuff protects for hours.I've used it while surfing, body boarding and just hanging out at the beach.I used it in Florida just a couple of weeks ago and was on the beach for over 8 hours.I only had to reapply once.Highly recommended.

I have been looking for more natural sunscreen products. I really enjoy this dry oil. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy. The scent is strong and will last on your skin like a perfume. I really like this spray lotion. It has the convenience factor of a spray, but comes out a little more lotion like so that you can still rub and apply into your skin. Unlike other sprays in which you feel like you have to physically spray every area that you want blocked, but still aren't sure if you put enough or too much. Like a lot of pre-teens, my son is quick to get pimples in the humid Florida weather. He is also outside a lot and needs sunscreen. I highly recommend the AcneCare Clean Screen for preventing the sometimes greasy consistency that comes from other sun screens. As a mom, I enjoy the product as well. It soaks in fast and leaves our skin smooth and not sticky. 5 stars from our entire family!

This it the third spray lotion we've bought and have used the last couple of months.We're trying to figure out which we like using most on our two pale daughters.As for Coppertone water babies 50 spf Quick Cover Lotion Spray, it isn't our favorite to date.We have been used to even spraying with Kids bull Frog 36 spf and the Bananaboat 80 spf but the Coppertons seems to spray more in blobs.Also, you have to run this one in after spraying unlike the others.it does prevent sunburns but we like the other sprays more and will probably be buying the others instead.

I first found this at Sallys beauty supplies. I bought in a pair the Volumizeing Shampoo and conditioner.I bought the LARGE 1 lb 33oz. size. This stuff really works and whats even better it leaves your hair soft
and smooth like a shampoo for split ends would. It's never even close to sticky and I will be useing it as long as they make it. My baby fine straight hair really does have volume now. I've never used any product that works this
well and I've tried at least 6 or 7 different brands. Honestly.. I've never written a review for a hair product but because there are so many middle aged women in their 50s who discover one day.. hey wheres all my hair I used to have???? This is your answer and it's so resonably priced it's rediculous. I paid over twenty dollars for Bumble and Bumble and it's a small little over priced product that doesn't come close to working as well as Biotera.
Buy it.. You will be happy you did. I promise. :)
