Very impressed with Banana Boat Sundial self tanning. All you have to do is turn a knob to create the intensity of your own tan. I use a lighter shade in the morning, under my make-up and a tad bit darker at night before bed. No orangy mess or streaks. This is fool-proof. My pores don't clog and my skin is soft. I've tried every sunless tanning product starting with Lancombe back in '86. Banana Boat got it right.
Out of the 3 bottles, NONE of them work correctly. The tanner does work when I can get it out of the bottle.the actual product is good but the dial doesn't worki am wondering how to return itI can't get the tanning solution to come out only the lotion. It happened on 2 of 3 bottles.What is the pint of this ridiculous bottle design?I guess you are supposed to "dial in" your desired tone, but the application is a joke.The two fluids (one a tanning lotion, the other a moisturizer base) are separated in the bottle, and you adjust the ratio of each one being dispensed. Nice theory, horrible execution.Inconsistent application, just means I have to manually dispense each lotion myself and "eyeball" the concoction, then make sure to thoroughly mix the two.If you don't premix them, then you get uneven skin tonesand that's embarrassing!
So, you can get by with this if you have a little patience and resilience, but for the more discriminate consumer, you might want to try something else..
