I have been using this for years and it is the best on the market.I have fine curly hair and this doesn't weigh it down.

Like with all hair products, it's always a hit or miss. I have slightly wavy hair that's about medium thickness. This product did nothing for my hair. It made it poofy, dry and frizzy. I was looking to get some wave definition and I got none with this product.

So as I would say with most hair products, try before you buy.
