Caribbean Solutions Sol Guard 25

I love Caribbean Sol because it's easier on the reefs when snorkeling than regular sunscreens are. It kept me from getting a sunburn remember to reapply after awhile, just as with any other sunscreen .Caribbean Sol is the light scent is nice.

I couldn't find this product in local stores, on the cruise ship or in the ports we visited, so I would purchase this sunscreen again when going on a snorkeling vacation.

ON EDIT :August 21, 2011... I purchased more Caribbean SolGuard SPF 25 Sunscreen before my last cruise and it worked as well as it did the first time I purchased and used this product.I love this stuff!

Hard to tell whether it does its function or not. We bought this one for a snorkeling trip. We kind of felt that it got all washed out quickly. Regardless, extra chemicals are not good for reef systems whether biodegradable or not. So we decide not to use sunscreen for our future snorkeling trip.

Bought this so that we could snorkel in Mexico where they will disallow any sunscreen that is not biodegradeable. This one was met with approval and while it worked for this purpose, I would not use it to replace normal sunscreen as it is a bit difficult to apply and appears white on the skin.

My whole family laughed at me and people at the resort kept looking at me.This stuff makes you look dead.We purchased two other Biodegradable sunscreens for our recent trip and this one was by far the worst.Try the Coral Safe brand, we liked it the best...Unfortunately it cost the most.I guess you get what you pay for.The Sologuard easily washed off in the ocean and I got sunburned pretty badly.I applied it according to the directions.We didn't have this problem with the other two brands.I wouldn't buy Solguard again.

Shame on me for trusting the title of this product "Caribbean Solutions Sol Guard 25".I did not read close enough to notice that it was not SPF 25 as the name suggests but is actually SPF 4!It will be safe for the reefs when I snorkel in Hawaii and French Polynesia but no matter how safe and wonderful it is, it will not protect my skin properly.

I will say that it smells nice and seems to go on well.It seems like a nice lotion but a bust as a sunscreen.It is also a bit expensive for the size of the bottle.
