This stick is so creamy, glides easily on the skin, and it doesn't look cakey at all. I make few strokes and then blend with my finger. I wear ochre and it's more for yellow undertones. Even though the stick is tiny I need the smallest amount of any foundation I've ever tried. It looks oily and shiny, I use a bit of powder on my T-zone.

A good friend was given this sunscreen while she was pregnant, by her dermatologist. She recommended I try it and I love it! I usually don't wear sunscreen and have olive skin that doesn't burn too easily but I am getting older and worry about my skin, wrinkles and cancer! I still tanned beautifully but never burned. My mom is extremely fair skinned and always burns. I made her use this sunscreen and she actually tanned a little. Her skin only burned on the tiny area behind her knees where she forgot to put the sunscreen! Also most spf products irritate my eyes and this one never did. I purchased this recently because I needed a new bottle of sunblock for my kids (ages 1 & 6).I was going to buy the Neutrogena Wet Skin lotion but we go through a lot of sunscreen and I didn't think that the little 3oz bottle would last us very long.I also use Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock on my face, but wanted to find a sunblock I could use on my back/arms/etc... so it couldn't be greasy.
I have been looking for a nice self tanner for the summer and this one is fabulous! It goes on very smooth and does not make my skin oily or greasy. I love Caribbean Sol because it's easier on the reefs when snorkeling than regular sunscreens are. It kept me from getting a sunburn remember to reapply after awhile, just as with any other sunscreen .Caribbean Sol is the light scent is nice.

My whole family laughed at me and people at the resort kept looking at me.This stuff makes you look dead.We purchased two other Biodegradable sunscreens for our recent trip and this one was by far the worst.Try the Coral Safe brand, we liked it the best...Unfortunately it cost the most.I guess you get what you pay for.The Sologuard easily washed off in the ocean and I got sunburned pretty badly.I applied it according to the directions.We didn't have this problem with the other two brands.I wouldn't buy Solguard again.Want Caribbean Solutions Sol Guard 25 Discount?
Shame on me for trusting the title of this product "Caribbean Solutions Sol Guard 25".I did not read close enough to notice that it was not SPF 25 as the name suggests but is actually SPF 4!It will be safe for the reefs when I snorkel in Hawaii and French Polynesia but no matter how safe and wonderful it is, it will not protect my skin properly.
I use PCA Skin Hydrator Plus SPF 30 every morning after washing and toning my face. I dont use the same brand for washing and toning b/c it gets too expensive, but i wont compromise on my moisturizer. I wash and tone my face once in the morning and once at night, but only use the moisturizer in the morning. I have seen a vast improvement of the T-zone area. I continue to purchase this product again and again.

I read rave reviews about this stuff and was eager to try it on a recent trip to Hawaii. As a bit of background, we regularly travel to tropical locations such as Hawaii, Florida, and Fiji. I have not had a burn in years due to the generous application of sunscreen. On our recent trip to the Islands, both my partner and I got absolutely fried using Sun Stuff. We applied it so liberally and frequently (at least once per hour) that we looked like ghosts because we were in and out of the water. After the first day we went to Long's and bought Ocean Potion, a regular old cheapo sunscreen. Worked like a charm. After we got back I e-mailed Purple Prairie about this and I got a very smug and indifferent response that supposed that I had mis-applied it (hadn't) or was on a medication that made me very sun-sensitive (wasn't). Needless to say I will never buy anything from this company again (wasted forty bucks on two big bottles of Sun Stuff) and I am warning everyone I know about this product. Maybe it works in Minnesota, but it can't protect from tropical sun AT ALL!!!

After looking for a natural sunscreen that just contained zinc oxide, I decided to buy this one. It comes out in a thicker texture but not too thick. One has to rub this sunscreen on in order to avoid white streaks and the sunscreen does have a slightly tacky feel compared to other 'dry touch' sunscreens, i.e. one will notice that one is wearing sunscreen. Overall, the sunscreen seems to work, and neither myself nor my daughter have gotten burned. I like that the product doesn't contain harmful chemicals and is almost odorless, but it still leaves too much of a white residue for me. Over the past few years I've become a safe product junkie. The EWG Skin Deep Cosmetics Database is my primary resource for information regarding products and their ingredients. It is through EWG that I came upon Purple Prairie's SunStuff SPF 30. This product is safe (it received a 1 rating from EWG, 0 being best) and works at protecting my very fair skin. I use it daily on my face and chest. I have yet to receive a sunburn, even during my long runs in the outdoors. The product is not greasy and has a mild scent (it smells like what you would expect a sunscreen to smell like). However, I don't know how well this product would work for darker complected people. It does leave a ghostly hue on the skin if not rubbed in well, but I found that mixing a few drops of argan oil into the sunscreen works very well at making it easier to apply.
Bull Frog superblock fell short of my expectations after using many other Bull Frog products. The lotion does not rub into the skin easily leaving thick white splotches on the applied area. The lotion is also quick to transfer from the skin to anything touched and leaves a nasty white residue that is difficult to remove. The lotion also runs on the skin when the applicant perspires.

I bought this item ... well more than just one at once because I was going to Cancun for the third time and I know what happens when you are not well protected from the sun there. When I received the package I was not totally satisfied but I figured that for the price it was not worth it to return the items. Some bottles came with proper packaging and others had no seal on the top and one even had some tape on it ... so there went the tampering with the seal policy.

I just started tanning a couple weeks ago, and I used this for the first time today. When I first opened the bottle, I noticed that it smelled like Coffee, when I put it on, it went on really easily and smoothly. Although you do need to make sure you rub it in all the way. Anyways, I usually do a 10 minute platinum session when I go, and as soon as I got out of the tanning bed I could already tell my skin was darker, like waaaay obviously darker. I like it a lot, and it doesn't turn you that no bueno orange color. All in all, I like it a lot and will definitely use it again :)
