I don't use styling gel but I order this for my 85 year old mother who loves it.She says it is the only product that doesn't flake off and leave her with "dandruff".She has fine, fly-away hair and Tri keeps her hair from straightening out in humid weather (not that she gets much of that in Colorado!)
