Reasons to buy this particular sunscreen:1.The EWG Skin Deep Cosmetic Database has given this particular Alba product a good safety rating of 2 on a scale of 0-10, with 0 being the absolute safest and 10 being the most toxic.The reason it got a 2 is because it contains several ingredients of moderate concern, namely benzyl alcohol and tocopheryl acetate.Make sure to look for the words "mineral protection" on the label, as some Alba sunblocks have even more chemical ingredients that are rated as presenting a moderate level of safety concern.
2.Its UVA/UVB protection and sunscreen stability have been rated as being good to excellent.
3.It is very affordable, in some cases 50% cheaper than comparable sunscreens on the market.
4.It is truly fragrance free, goes on relatively smoothly, and absorbs well into the skin.
5.It is water resistant.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the slightly thick consistency thinner for easier application to the face.All in all, though, this is a great choice!
