Yes this has a strong tingle. But that is what it says on the bottle. You should probably start out with a milder tingle if you are a new tanner or if you have never used tingle lotions. It is too bad that people give great products like this poor reviews when the product only did what it was supposed to do and the user was not being responsible. This is one of my 'go to' products. I have over a dozen lotions that I rotate and when I hit a wall, this one breaks through and gets me dark. Newbies need to start with a warming lotion, not an intense tingle.

This stuff will burn your hide off. I used it in a 10 minute stand up and i'm glad i did. I was able to move around more freely when one area got too hot. Longest 10 minutes of my life! After the session I was as RED as a beet for the next 3-5 hours. So only use this if you are not going anywhere. It's almost like an instant sunburn. I don't like to shower immediately after using high-end lotion, it's a waste of bronzer, but 5 hours after use I showered and I was brown. I will use this product again. wheeewwww is this ever a tingler!! I am not a sissy or inexperienced tanner and this one was too much for me.Made my skin itch and burn hours later. Had to rinse it off in the shower. Wow!!
