I really liked this sunscreen when I first started using it.The application is smooth, the texture pretty good, scent is pleasant.It doesn't make my face pasty white or greasy, and stays put well for the most part.I have used it several times playing sports and it offered good protection.However, this stuff breaks me out badly, and I tend not to get breakouts from sunscreen.It's a pity since otherwise I really like this product.

I was recommended this product by my dermatologist after I developed sensitivity to sun-exposure and became allergic to most adult-formulation sunscreens I tried. I was very relieved to find I do not have any issue with this product at all, even on my face. As this is an adult-formulation there is a mild lemony fragrance (there is no Aveeno fragrance-free adult formulation) but it is inoffensive. Despite the presence of fragrance, I prefer adult-formulations over baby-formulations as the latter tend to be thick/gloppy/leaving white residue and not suitable for daily wear e.g. with work clothes etc. whereas adult-formulations are designed to be primarily easy-to-use. I am dark-skinned but this product rubs in easily and invisibly, unlike certain other brands' high-SPF formulations. However it does show some whitish spots when splashed with water e.g. when walking in the rain. I like the dry-touch finish feels like matte foundation which helps to reduce friction e.g. in the inner crease of elbow where my eczema flares up the worst. I find I need to reapply around 4 hours after first application, especially in areas where it is prone to rubbing off on chair arm-rests etc. i.e. wrists/forearms. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it highly.

Aveeno makes great products, and this sunscreen works well, but--if you are active and don't shower after a long humid day, this sunscreen will give off a sour smell.
