I bought this from my tanning salon but since it has no reviews online I shall be the first!!! lol I loveeee this lotion it is my second favorite designer skin product after luminary!!! It will get you SUPER DARK, SUPER FAST. It has no silicone in it but it is super moisturizing and makes your skin look and feel great. Also it smells SOOO good before tanning and after tanning which is really important and the price isnt disgusting. Also alittle goes a long way so u dont need to layer on

I really like this lotion! It smells great, even after tanning. The consistency is perfectnot sticky, not greasy, just very moisturizing which I love. I decided to put a sticker on my hip the first day I tried this lotion, just to see how much difference it would make, and after 15 minutes of tanning I had a noticeable tan line. After just one session! I also love the fact that I saved so much money by purchasing this online rather than from a salon. I'm definitely a fan of this lotion and would buy again. :)

I got told by the guy at my tanning salon that ordering from amazon especially for tanning lotion is a big risk he said my lotion will probably be crap and not actually be the right lotion...he said he ordered luminary off of here and it didnt tan him...well he's still not even a lil tan so i think it was him not the lotion lol. Well I've read great reviews on the product so i bought it and I love it. The smell is what gets me.fruity and perfume scent to me.Tans great also. Im especially happy with it shipping to me. It came to me 2 days earlier than expected. and it was in a box with bubble wrap so it was nice and snug, I also got a sample of Angel moisturizer with it. I'm all around very pleased. The same lotion wasat my salon. I think the guy at my salon was just mad I didnt buy from him and but some $$ in his pocket. Im happy with my purchase and I WILL buy from amazon again.

not a bad lotion, it actually helped tanned my pale husband. The smell is so so, the bronzer is good for a beginner. I would say this lotion would be a good start for the tanning season, but would need something stronger once the base tan is present.

I am confused to why this product doesn't have one, it makes me think that it is Not brand new... or possible someone tampered with it! Do not let the word "gel" deceive you.This product has a soft, balm-like consistency and is great for curls.I have long, very thick natural curls and the Pure Shine Gel controls and shapes curls without "crunchy" effects.

I am only giving this four stars due to the lack of "shine" that the product promises and that it is expensive (a little does NOT go a long way and I have to uses several pumps to get the desired results).Because of the cost, I save the Nioxin Pure Shine Gel for Sundays and special occasions and use John Frieda Frizz Ease Corrective Styling Gel all other days; it is almost as good (it is not as "soft" as Nioxin) and a lot cheaper.

Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 Ounce Tube

I really liked this sunscreen when I first started using it.The application is smooth, the texture pretty good, scent is pleasant.It doesn't make my face pasty white or greasy, and stays put well for the most part.I have used it several times playing sports and it offered good protection.However, this stuff breaks me out badly, and I tend not to get breakouts from sunscreen.It's a pity since otherwise I really like this product.

I was recommended this product by my dermatologist after I developed sensitivity to sun-exposure and became allergic to most adult-formulation sunscreens I tried. I was very relieved to find I do not have any issue with this product at all, even on my face. As this is an adult-formulation there is a mild lemony fragrance (there is no Aveeno fragrance-free adult formulation) but it is inoffensive. Despite the presence of fragrance, I prefer adult-formulations over baby-formulations as the latter tend to be thick/gloppy/leaving white residue and not suitable for daily wear e.g. with work clothes etc. whereas adult-formulations are designed to be primarily easy-to-use. I am dark-skinned but this product rubs in easily and invisibly, unlike certain other brands' high-SPF formulations. However it does show some whitish spots when splashed with water e.g. when walking in the rain. I like the dry-touch finish feels like matte foundation which helps to reduce friction e.g. in the inner crease of elbow where my eczema flares up the worst. I find I need to reapply around 4 hours after first application, especially in areas where it is prone to rubbing off on chair arm-rests etc. i.e. wrists/forearms. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it highly.

Received this product today along with 3 other brands of lip balms/tints.I currently use Chapstick, Carmex, Blistex, and CO Bigelow balms and tints several times per day.I just ordered Terra Tints SPF8 Sienna Tinted lip balm, along with Burts Bees lip shimmer, Hawaiian Tropic SPF45 balm, and Out of Africa shea butter lip balm. This Terra Tints product is useless.I can't even describe it as pasty like other reviewers, my tube is so hard that it won't glide at all.It sticks to my lip and would sooner rip my lip open than glide across them. After attempting to apply it by touching the balm to my lip and spinning it in a circular motion in several places to get it on my entire lip, it was so "sticky" my lips wouldn't move when I tried to rub them together to distribute it.When I finally got it applied well enough to see even tint my lips felt like I dipped them in candle wax.They felt dry and tight and coated with a hard film. My natural instinct was to keep licking my lips because they were so dry and coated with crud, and it had the chemical taste I associate with cheap lipstick. I will be tossing this in the trash.All seven of the other products I mentioned are all products I would use or buy again, some I like better than others, but this one has NO redeeming quality and wouldn't/couldn't use even if I was desperate for lip balm!

I have been using this lip balm as lipstick for several years. It goes on so smoothly and has a dark natural color. I just love it. This last lip balm I ordered seems to have an ingredient missing as it is very stickly. This is not the usual though.

As others have written, this moisturizer feel grainy when first applied, but that feel goes away without leaving any residue. I like the ever-so-slight tint, (I'm guessing from the sunscreen). Its not heavy or oily. Absorbs into skin well and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth and protected from UV rays.

I agree with the review that states it does not reduce existing wrinkles (not sure any product really does) but there is a smoothing effect once applied. Your skin appears hydrated and healthy, and maintains a silky feel. You will also love the light scent. I have sensitive skin and these products are non-irritating. I wear this moisturizer alone and under makeup.

Its a great product line that works for me, I just wish the products were more affordable. I open up the casing to get to every last drop of this stuff before throwing away.

I put this on and fell in love. It comes out of the tube and goes on your face COMPLETELY DRY and non-oily. It doesn't burn. It doesn't irritate. When it is put on and rubbed in, you can't even see it on my face (for the record, however, I have very pale white skin I don't know if you would see it on a darker complexion). And, I can wear any makeup over it flawlessly. When I go to remove it, it comes off with facial cleanser. I don't have to wash my face 10 times to get it off. I would tell anyone to try this. I have always looked for the perfect dry, non-oily sunscreen, and this is it. The only drawback is that it comes in a very small tube and is expensive (although, I never quibble about paying whatever it takes for sunscreen that I like and will use regularly). I need a huge bottle of this so that I can use it on my whole body. COOLA, if you are reading this, make me a huge bottle of this stuff, cost be darned!!!!

I purchased this product because I was looking for a nice face sunscreen without any chemicals. I like that it has a matte finish, but for me it's almost too matte. My face is really oily, but this stuff makes my face feel a little bit tight and dry. After several hours it feels a little bit better, but the matte-ness never goes away. It feels light and doesn't make my face sweaty when I'm in the sun, which is great, but there is definitely a bluish tinge.My skin is fairly light colored, but not super pale, so it shows up more that it probably would for someone with very fair skin. Once I put it on my whole face, though, it looks fine.I'd say it's probably about as good as you could get for a mineral sunscreen!

The only other weird thing I will mention is that it makes dry skin flakes and any pore clogs very evident.I think the minerals reflect light off any raised surface on your face...I have a lot of blackheads and gunk in my pores (no matter what I do) and this sunscreen makes it all show up a lot more. If you have very smooth, normal-type skin without large pores, I'm sure this product would be perfect.

Overall, pretty darn good, but the price might prevent me from buying it again.

Pros:Natural, simple ingredients. You can take this product off at the end of the day with warm water and a wash clothno soap needed.Great if you are trying to simplify your skin care.

Cons: This is extremely drying.I have sensitive/acne-prone skin and the first few times I applied this directly to my skin in the morning (did not use soap, only splashed my face with warm water), it sucked all of the moisture out of my face and my chin was a sea of dry flakes.It hurt to try and smile/talk/make any facial expressions whatsoever.The only way I could use this at all was to very liberally apply a face oil (I use Mei Camilia seed oil) first.And even then my face would be too tight to move for a few hours!***I think the matte product is only appropriate for very, very oily skin.*** I can't see this working on anyone with any other types (normal, sensitive, etc). I noticed that my skin has started over-producing oil to make up for the drying effect--I'm not usually shiny by the end of the day but I have been since I started using Coola.

I've moved on to John Masters Suncare Natural Mineral Sunscreen (more moisturizing) but may one day return to Coola to try their non-matte face sunblock.

This stuff is either new or not very well known because it's really hard to find reviews about it, but I am so glad I found it! This really is the best matte sunblock there is. It feels a bit whipped in texture when you pump it out. It dries almost immediately and has a mild cucumber scent. It's perfect for oily and/or acne prone skin. It doesn't seem to leave any white cast when rubbed in well, but then I'm pale so I couldn't tell if it did. It is a little pricey for the size, but I really don't mind because I only have to use about a pea size daily. Try it!

Beyond Coastal Natural Clear Sunscreen SPF 30+ -- 8 oz

I like it b/c when you wear it, it is not caked on like other organic sunscreens. You don't have to apply too much. I just apply a nickel size for my whole face, rub it well before it dries up so it doesn't clunk. It feel sticky and sometimes it can make your face look lighter than it is. If you are medium dark complection, it may show a little more. I am bronze skinned and my partner who is dark brown applied it and said it worked well and did not make the skin look abnormally light. It all depends how much you apply. I would recommend it b/c out of all my research, this product is among the more affordable sunscreens that contain the lowest amounts of chemicals.

As you can see in their advertized picture, they are selling a Beyond Coastal Natural Clear Sunscreen SPF 30+, 8 OZ. I received a sunscreen that is different from what is shown and described here. As ordered, I was supposed to get a Beyond Coastal Sunscreen that is labeled "Natural Clear Sunscreen" on itsbottle with 8 Oz of sunscreen. I already ordered twice from this seller specifically ordering Beyond Coastal "Natural Clear Sunscreen" (One in 4 OZ and the other in 8 OZ). Both items I received were wrong. Instead of getting what I ordered, twice I got Beyond Coastal "Active Sunscreen" in a 4 OZ bottle, which makes this seller's description very misleading.

I started doing the Red Light Therapy bed at Showbiz Tan probably about a month or so ago. I had a few VERY dark scars that I wasn't too fond of, also after my pregnancy my face wasn't as "pretty" as it could have been. So I started doing the red light bed, I have only gone 15 times.. (I ran out of the spray and don't want to use my sessions without it) The dark scar that was on my arm is almost invisible unless you are right up on it. My face has cleared up to the point I don't even have to wear make-up (unless its eyes shadow and such)... I picked this one up on Amazon only because my red light therapy salon recommended I buy it from them for a grossly overpriced amount of money.

I picked it up online for more than half off, and the results took a while to be noticed.

The spray itself smells really funny, almost like old jacuzzi water, and you are meant to spray it onto your body before entering your red light therapy session.

I was using it mainly on my face and on my stretch mark areas. It worked really well, but took about 4 sessions for me to really see the results. I had been doing RLT for a few weeks before buying this, without really noticeable results, and with this can of spray, the results were more noted.

Example:

Stretch marks thinner in appearance, but still evident after 2 uses.

After 4 uses, I saw them shrinking, but they of course were still there.

All in all, it will not remove your stretch marks, but it will shrink them making them less embarrassing.

I got it as part of the starting kit from local HT for $80. I was able to use this spray about 2 times with pressure, about 4times in total. That translates to one week from starting red light. That is way too expenssive to keep using. Also, no matter what application method I used, I had an asthma attack every single time I used it, and my family members were complaing of strange breathing difficulties those days as well.

I was soooo looking forward improving my skin tone, but this is not the product for me. Now i use the 2in1 collagenetics for prep. Such a better value, having used it for 16 total body applications (today I had my 20th session) and still have some in the 9oz tube.(i got it for $16 from a dif web site)

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock

This is absolutely the best sunblock I've ever used...and I've used plenty! I'm a redhead (not at all compatable with sun) and enjoy scuba diving in Cozumel (where there's LOTS of sun). I apply it in the morning before diving and it lasts all day...I don't even reapply between dives.

Another thing I like about this product is that because it's a mist, I can apply this sunblock in about 15 seconds. The first time I used it, I put enough on to make my skin oily...don't do this! First of all, this product is not oily and you'll think you don't have enough, so you put on more...don't! It's a mist and you just lightly go over your skin.

Finally, another plus is that most sunscreens make you feel hot...they seem to keep your body heat in...this one doesn't!

Very glad we had bought this for our vacation to the beach!I forgot the tops of my feet and when they were burnt to a crisp I realized how well this worked!My husband spent several hours in the ocean and it did not wear off after 5 to 6 hours!When it says water resistant it really is waterproof & sweat resistant!

However, if you are looking for a tan, don't get this.The 45 spf is too strong to get a tan quickly, I barely had any color after a 7 day vacation in my swimming suit!

This is the best sunscreen I've used so far. I'ts light, doesn't go on white and cakey. I don't even feel that I have it on like other products. It doesn't smell bad.

It still makes my face shiny, though. What I don't like is that you have to shake the bottle and it makes a loud sound. Not very handy when you're up applying it at 5:30 in the morning.

VIVITE Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30

I started to use this product as it was recommended to me by my Dermatologists four/five months ago.This small tube last very long. It is not bad for the price at all. I paid $49.00 for this product at my dermatologists office. I got a better saving ordering it in Amazon.

Also, with this product you only need a peasize to cover the entire face.It is a great moisturizer for the skin to keep it soft and younger looking.I use it daily especially during the day.

FYI The only thing I would warn anyone who may buy this product is that, if you have a new bottle and it pumps out the product then later on nothing would pump, please do not unscrew the pump. Tap the bottom of the bottle first then you can pump the product. Believe me, I learn the hardway. I remember not seeing any instructions about the bottle itself. I only knew about it from my dermatologists after mentioning to her the trouble I have with the pump on this product and that is when she informed me that all I need to do is tap it at the bottom.

This is a moisturizer that has it all and works very well for my skin.I am 47 and I am fanatical about good skin care.I've been using this for 2 years.YOu don't need to use a lot, so it will last over30 days...probably over 60 or more, depending on how you apply it.It absorbs well, is only slightly greasy when first applied, then that goes away. I liked that it has a retinol product in it and do notice the texture of my skin is much better when I use this product.I ran out for a short time and tried to use up another moisturizer, but really noticed the difference between the two.I also like that it has a 30SPF.The packaging is nice in that you can see how much you have left!!The only thing I don't care for is the way it smells.It's not horrible, but I would prefer no scent or a very light one.This has a chemical'ish scent, but it does dissipate very quickly and it isn't really strong.

I have tried several moisturizers and this is the only one to work for me. Some moisturizers will be thick and creamy but will still leave my face dry. I will apply my loose powder and my face will still be flaky. This one works. My face is never dry or greasy. Perfect!

My wife and I switched to Vivete products at our dermatologist when the price of SkinCeuticals became to high. Vivete is cheaper and seems to do the job so far, I have no allergic reactions to their products. Like other customers, I feel the pump on this bottle is ridiculously bad. They should just have a cap on the bottle and be done with it, it would enable them to sell it cheaper anyway. It is a good daily face lotion, has SPF 30 sunscreen included, seems to do a good job on fine lines. No scent or color, which I prefer anyway. I was surprised to find on Amazon, saved me the 30 minute drive each way to the dermatologist, and the price was good.

I have had the same problem with the pump not working properly when I tried to use my first bottle. I figured out a way to get it to work and I hope it will help others. I am currently on my fourth pump problem-free bottle. If the pressure is lost and nothing comes out when you pump it, remove the silver cap on the bottom of the bottle. This cap pops off easily. Then, using your finger or some other device (I use my toothbrush handle) push the interior white plastic bottom up towards the pump which pushes the lotion up towards the top. Push it until it seems like it won't go any further. This gets rid of any air pockets in the lotion. The lotion should pump out now. I always store it upside-down so that the lotion stays at the top of the bottle and no air pockets are created. I usually only have to push the bottom up when I first start a new bottle or when it is almost out.Hope this helps!

Many of the "natural" sunscreens still have the chemical sunscreens in them that are carcinogenic.This one does not and is rated quite well at the environmental working group website for safety.I've tried 4 or 5 truly natural sunscreens that use titanium or zinc oxide.Some were horrific, this is one of my favorites.Just a warning the Burt's Bees Sunscreen was the worse if you're looking around at options, it went on so dry you couldn't spread it, it clumped, sweated off almost immediately, and it didn't work, I burned terribly.So, finding one that works for you is important.

But, I regress.... Any natural sunscreen with zinc oxide or titanium oxide will go on white.But, this one rubs on nicely and eventually as the sunscreen heats up it will become less white and eventually barely noticeable. The price and quality is very reasonable on this product.

The truly natural sunscreens like this are not overly water proof but once again this one was much better than most of the other's I tried.It at least could handle some sweat and wadding around in the water.If you were full on swimming I'd recommend reapplying often.

Over all, it worked well... I did not burn, it goes on reasonably well for a truly natural sunscreen, it's mildly water resistant unlike some that can't even handle sweat, and I did not burn while using it.I will buy this again when I run out.

This is a great product. Application is easy, it is totally scent free and it has a wonderful, smooth texture. Irecommend this highly and I plan on purchasing more.

Disadvantage: Hard to work into the skin, especially if skin is sweaty or wet

I recommend applying before you go out in the sun, and then it is effective at preventing sunburnit really stays in your skin, and lasts a long time. Reapplying is difficult, especially if you've been swimming or sweating.

This sunblock smells nice no chemically icky sunblock scent. However, I would compare it to a bit thinner than Crisco! It is some thick stuff.It is very moisturizing, but it seems to take a while to wash off, it is so thick.
