Wowwhat a great sunscreen.Not only did this sunscreen pass the test for my husband and me, but it passed for my infant which is saying alot!I am very picky when it comes to my little guy and I would recommend this sunscreen to anyone.It is safe and protects even the newest, most delicate skin.I am sold!

Although I really wanted this sunscreen to work, it just didn't. I am the poster child for skin cancer with extremely fair skin, light hair, light eyes, and burn quickly when out in the sun, so I am obviously very concerned about finding the right formulation.

Based on my concern about harmful ingredients in chemical-based sunscreens, I purchased this product after researching not only its high rating on the Environmental Working Group's website, but what seemed like it glowing reviews from both the founder of the company and people who have utilized the product.

My initial time using the sunscreen, I burned. Thinking that I was, perhaps, not applying correctly or in enough quantity I contacted the company. I was told that literally tens of thousands of people had said the product worked amazingly for them, so it must be something I was doing wrong. Seemed like a defensive response and somewhat unbelievable, but I gave it another shot on a bright, sunny day where I was out on a boat for several hours. I applied in a thickish layer, making sure to reapply every two hours or less. Well, I was dismayed to find out that, again, I burned, as if I had not been wearing sunscreen at all!

Since this product is twice the price of others, I asked for a refund since the product did not work for me. Was told by the company, "We don't give refunds" and basically told that my complaint was the very first the company had ever received. Really? I find that very hard to believe. In any case, it seems as though the product is not living up to its hype and the company refuses to take customer concerns into consideration. Too good to be true.

I use this sunscreen on my 1 year old and 4 year old daughters.The sent is light and pleasant.It rubs in easily and is not greasy.I have tried many sunscreens trying to find one I like that is rated well on the Environment Working Group website as being safe and non-toxic.This one is my favorite.I like it over Badger and California Baby, which were harder to rub-in and greasy.

I like this product for my body, but not for my face.It leaves a white tint on the skin, and I'm a person of color, so it shows even more.It's fragrance-free.

The negative reviews here are based on the 2010 formulation.We took some of the feedback relating to oily and "whitening" to task over the winter months.The 2011 formulation is far superior.It applies virtually clear and is not oily.It is also much easier to apply and is very water resistant.
