This lipstick was ok but it was not what I was expecting, it is more pink and not as sheer as I thought it would be. It may be the lip gloss/stick for you, but it wasn't for me.

Just got this today. Tried it right away to see what the color looked like on (seems bright pink in the tube). Put it on my bottom lip, and as soon as I started putting it on my top lip, the stick of balm broke at the bottom, where it connects inside the tube to whatever raises it up and down. Now it doesn't really retract, and I tried pushing it with my fingers to join it back to itself inside the tube, but that didn't work. It's 55F here, so it was not that cold, certainly not hot. And I was not pressing it that hard to my lips.
Now I am stuck with a fairly pricey non-functioning tube of lip balm. I get the sticks instead of the pots because I don't want to get my fingers messy whenever I apply it. I probably willhave to scoop this all into some extra lipgloss pot. Sigh... So much for my excitement about using this product.
It does go on very thin (more like lip products that come in a squeeze tube than the waxier stick products). Smells nice. The color is a very faint pink now that it is on my lips. Seems like a nice balm--I would give it 4-5 stars if it hadn't broken.
