Just got this today. Tried it right away to see what the color looked like on (seems bright pink in the tube). Put it on my bottom lip, and as soon as I started putting it on my top lip, the stick of balm broke at the bottom, where it connects inside the tube to whatever raises it up and down. Now it doesn't really retract, and I tried pushing it with my fingers to join it back to itself inside the tube, but that didn't work. It's 55F here, so it was not that cold, certainly not hot. And I was not pressing it that hard to my lips.
Now I am stuck with a fairly pricey non-functioning tube of lip balm. I get the sticks instead of the pots because I don't want to get my fingers messy whenever I apply it. I probably willhave to scoop this all into some extra lipgloss pot. Sigh... So much for my excitement about using this product.
It does go on very thin (more like lip products that come in a squeeze tube than the waxier stick products). Smells nice. The color is a very faint pink now that it is on my lips. Seems like a nice balm--I would give it 4-5 stars if it hadn't broken.

NIGHT CREAM WITH ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS (AHA)
I notice that it did not even have a scent to it, which is good because i'm not too fond of that. This product made my skin feel nice and smooth the following morning, I even notice my spots were lightened. It works great because it is gentle and most products with AHA make my skin turn red after use, but this did not. I really like it! I used it for more about a month.

This is an intensifier so it's not meant to have cosmetic bronzers. I work at a tanning salon and am also smart tan certified so I'm very familiar with types or lotions and how they work. Intensifiers are meant to give you a more natural looking tan and darken the natural melanin your skin produces instead of "staining" your skin. I've used this lotion and it's alright. It does what it is intended to do, but it's not my favorite. To the other reviewer of this product the lotion is meant to be white, and you can achieve a dark tan without the use of bronzers.

I work outdoors, over the years I've tried EVERY sunscreen on the market.This product is the best.It keeps working even if you are active outside.There is no scent and leaves just a slight feeling of "sticky" when applied.That's sunscreen for you though!I use a different high end product for my face however.

Glad to see more and more physical sunscreens available at the drugstore.Physical/mineral based sunscreens work for my sensitive skin while chemical based sunscreen gives me hives. This sunscreen works well and feels good, also the odor is not strong and so I recommend it.The active ingredients are Titanium Dioxide (4.3%), Zinc Oxide (3%)
Other physical/mineral based sunscreens can be pricey. I got this small 3oz tube at CVS for ~$11 in the spring but just saw it there on sale today for closer to ~$9 and now on Amazon subscribe and save its $7.65, so I might sign up for S&S as I will continue to use this product.

I absoultely adore Ed Hardy lotions! Before this lotion I used I'm Fabulous and it got me super dark but I ran out so I went ahead and bought this one. It gives you really nice color but the smell is HORRIBLE!! The description of this lotion says its supposed to smell like "Fresh Citrus" and it does but since this lotion has warming and blushing properties it stinks like pepper. For anyone who uses tinge lotions and knows that peppery smell that they give off that is exactly what this one smells like but with a hint of orange. As for the warming sensations this lotion is supposed to have, I felt none. Also, you need to make sure you rub it in super good and wipe your hands off after because it will leave stains between your fingers and anywhere else that the lotion didn't get rubbed in. SO....Overall, if you want some color results and don't care about the smell, then this is the lotion for you. If you are looking to get dark, like me, I would say to go for I'm Fabulous.

Beyond Coastal Active Spf 30 Sunscreen
On a recent boating trip my husband got sunburned, even though he had been wearing a 45 SPF Banana Boat sunscreen. He was told Beyond Coastal was more effective and used higher quality ingredients than other sunscreens , thus a little more pricey. He used it, loved it, and brought some home. I used this on an all day trip to the beach with no shade. The kids were in and out of the water and in direct sun all day and no one got burned, even though I didn't re-apply after swimming. I have not been able to find it in the stores so I was very glad to find Amazon carries it and will be stocking up. I love the fact that they use all organic ingredients and their products areparaben and paba free so I feel great about using them on my kids. I even use it on my facethe SPF 30. They also make a very soothing after sun lotion, which we've tried and liked.

PROS:
*Rubs in really well, and doesn't leave you white unlike most "physical block" sunscreens. In fact, this rubbed in better than the other tube of regular "non-natural" sunscreen I used (Coppertone Water Babies, Pure & Simple).
*Not greasy, shiny, or heavy. Comfortable to have on my skin all day.
*Waterproof, as promised on the tube.
*Protected me well. I had no sunburns.
*Natural ingredients. No parabens etc. Good EWG ratings. Though note, this is still a chemical-block sunscreen, and not a physical block.
CONS:
*Stock up, because you'll have to use a little bit more of this sunscreen than your regular "non-natural" sunscreen, because this sunscreen is thicker. But note, thicker does not mean harder to rub in. This was much much easier to rub in for me! (See 1st bullet point.)
*Slight smell, which bothered my slightly but may not bother others. I don't know if it's the shea butter (which I don't like) or something else in the ingredient list. The smell stayed on my swimwear slightly too, until I finally came home from vacation and washed my swimsuit in the washing machine on gentle cycle.

This stuff rubs in great!It has no smell and leaves almost no residue.Unfortunately I have found that it wastes no time migrating into my eyes.When it does boy does it burn!

So I have been working my way through the EWG suggested sunscreens and I have to say this is my favorite. It has very light smell that reminds me a little of cake batter. The four ounce size is a great deal. The sunscreen is a little more lotion like than the mineral sunscreens and it rubs in very well and does not turn me the white-blue that California Baby and Loving Naturals leaves me. It is stays on and lasts a long time. I am pretty pale and burn easily and this will last me a solid 4-5 hour bike ride, if I am not wiping off my sweat all the time.

There is propylene glycol in this product. Why in the world would they put an ingredient that is used in anti freeze for cars, in a product to be ingested by humans? According to the famous scientist Hulda Clark, propylene glycol causes cancer and is found in all cancer patients. If you care about your health I wouldn't advise buying this product. As far as I'm concerned the FDA doesn't care about this or they would have had products like this banned. But, cancer is a billion dollar industry and from what I've heard, there is now a revolving door between the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA. People need to look out for themselves and be aware of the ingredient labels on everything they put in there body because the FDA is not doing it's job and frankly I don't think they want to. I even see propylene glycol on the ingredient labels of pies, cakes, and other baked goods at my local grocery store. This is at any of the well known grocery stores. What is happening in this country? Beware of propylene glycol. Also, beware of bottled water. The scientist Hulda Clark has said that every brand of bottled water she tested was laced with Benzene, which is obviously coming from the bottling equipment which has a residue of whatever they are cleaning the machines with. This in turn gets in the water when it is bottled. This scientist says they should be cleaning the machines with something safe such as alcohol. why doesn't the FDA enforce this? Like I said, cancer is a billion dollar industry.

When you can only get these one with a colored tint you don't want in the stores, this is a great buy!I really wanted to love this product, as all my friends did. I read the reviews on Amazon ans it sounded great. When I bought this, the price wasn't awful and the lip balm contains we is nice and slim. However, the actual product was just ok. My lips are frequently chapped and my lips were nice and soft after using the softlips. Unfortunately, the taste was very chemically. I really did not like the taste. Overall, this is a pretty good productI've been using the soft-lips balm since the winter of 2010 and my lips love them! Before, with other brands: chapstick, burt's bees, even lip balms from Sephora, my lips would get so tired of them after a couple of weeks and would not retain any moisture. I don't have that problem anymore.
I love how portable the container is, I carry one in the car, another one in my makeup kit. My fiance also uses them (he loves these too) the vanilla scent is very soft, totally okay for guys and gals to use.
