Some sunscreens work chemically by absorbing the UV. Others work by blocking UV. This blocks using zinc & titanium. Very good protection in a clear, non-greasy formula. It does make my skin look shiny and on days when that bothers me I matte it lightly with powder makeup. Usually I don't bother.
