All Terrain AquaSport SPF15 Natural Sunscreen Spray (3- Ounce)

I really like this product.It does not contain hazardous chemicals that can penetrate the skin, but it does protect against sunburn.Also it is water resistant, which makes it nice to use on the kids.I have used it during all day sporting events and no one has burned.It is nice and light, not thick and greasy like some other natural sunscreens I have used in the past.

The title of my review says it all--this stuff is incredibly oily. It basically feels like pure oil. The order of ingredients listed on the label is misleading, as it goes alphabetically, rather than by amount (ingredients are normally listed in order of how much of each ingredient there is in the product, from most to least).

The good thing about this product--the reason I bought it--is that it is zinc oxide-based, and free of chemical sunscreens (so it is safe and effective). Still, the texture renders it unusable for anyone who doesn't have severely dry skin. And the list of ingredients is deliberately misleading.

Some sunscreens work chemically by absorbing the UV. Others work by blocking UV. This blocks using zinc & titanium. Very good protection in a clear, non-greasy formula. It does make my skin look shiny and on days when that bothers me I matte it lightly with powder makeup. Usually I don't bother.

If very fast in reading the radiation, plus its shows the time you can be safely at the sun, according with you skin type and SPF you're using if used. In cloudy days it's very useful cause it's not always safe to go out without SPF, especially for kids.

It not only tells you the UV level.

You can dial in the sunscreen SPF (1 for none, up to 50), then select your skin type.

It then displays how long you can be exposed to the sun.

It counts down and then sounds an alarm when the time is up.

I say that it is "very smart" because, as a cloud goes over, it takes that into account; it even takes into account how dense the cloud is (ie, how much UV is getting through the cloud).

When a few months later I ordered this cream. It was disgusting. The oil had floated to the top. It was obviously really old stock. Had to throw away the jars.

I was very excited about the product as I have dry skin and I was looking for sort of a thick cream to help me during the winter. Well, this cream is thick but not as thick as I would like. It has a "runny" texture and the fragrance is killer. I went to a wedding in summer and I put this on as a moisturizer/base for my foundation and all my cousins were so annoyed of the smell. Another thing is that it clogs pores. I have always had clear skin but ever since I started using this cream, I get a pimple or two every now and then, I also have huge pores now. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Better substitute for me was Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream. I LOVE IT!

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen SPF 30+, Face, 3 Ounce

This is the best sunscreen for the face. I have tried many sunlotions and found that with most my face looked like an oily mess. There was no way I could wear sunscreen under my makeup every day. Especially here in Florida where we have very high humidity your face will start to sweat even more under a layer of sunlotion.

Thankfully Blue Lizard is different. The lotion goes on a little thick and gives you a white look for a moment, but if you rub it in carefully the lotion comepletely absorbs. You can wear this sunscreen under makeup and it doesn't give you an oily face. It has a faint smell but it isn't too overwhelming. Blue Lizard was also rated as one of the safest sun lotion brands without all the toxins that the more popular brands use.

This is a barrier sunscreen with zinc oxide in it.I've used something like it for years that also has a tint in it; that product is a one-step for me because I like the make-up aspect.However, it is much harder to find and obtain.I thought I'd try this to tide me over in between.Turns out I really like this stuff.It is light weight on your skin, and though white, it does absorb into the skin and leaves your natural skin its natural color.I think it actually improves the look of my skin.I add my usual make-up over it sometimes, but I usually feel good to go with just the sunscreen.Also, it goes on dry.The other product I use leaves a shinier finish that I need to pat down with powder, which I don't mind doing and which also looks good, but Blue Lizard is just easier for every day.Plus, I LOVE the name.My one complaint is that the product comes out too fast.It would be fine for body application, when you need more cream, but for the face they really ought to use a smaller opening.Just yesterday I had to take the extra and think of how to save it and wound up putting it into a baggie--quite messy.

My dermatologist recommends this product, as the ingredients are more inert than most other sunscreens on the American market. I use it every day as a moisturizer/sunscreen for my face/neck. However, it does need to be rubbed in thoroughly in order not to leave a ghostly appearance on the skin.

Avene High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50 1.94 oz / 50 ml

It is better than almost all of sun creams I have tried. I am very picky in choosing creams since my skin is sensitive. But this one was good, with respect to smell, coverage, and not leaving horrible acne' on my face, what some others did.

I've used some Avene products for two years and my experience has always been positive, my first was Hydrance Avene Rich Protective UV SPF20 Optimale and could not be better, it was a light sunscreen, perfect for everyday wear. A few months ago I wanted to try something with a higher SPF and bought Avene High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50. Actually at first I was not very happy, the cream has a consistency much denser and is more difficult to apply, but if you have the patience to do it calmly, the distribution is prefect. It certainly seems to leave some skin tone, but this happens if the product is placed excessively and there is no good Absorption. Keep in mind that this product is water resistant so that its consistency should be denser. I went to the beach in Costa Rica, with temperatures over 30°C, I bathed in the sea, in a pool, walked and sweated up and the product is just wonderful, the protection is absolute, out of the water, the appearance of the cream on the skin is a bit whiter, that's exactly the high protection, but as long as keep my skin healthy and avoid burns, do not care. I have used other creams and sunscreens for many brands, even more expensive products and really no comparison. European product (Made in France) is top quality and has an affordable price, worth every dollar.

Before buying any product and especially cream facial is very important to investigate its characteristics for not buying the wrong product.

Was looking for something tinted for my face. This tint is just to make the product a LITTLE less white on skin. NO WAY you could use it on your face. Very thick and smells terrible until it dissipates and soaks in, then smell get a bit better. It does soak in pretty good visually.But, you don't want to smell ilke this during the day. Definitly good for beach, sports, etc but not if you are wearing normal clothes in regular social situations.
