Z-SHADE Organic SPF 30 Sunscreen

Z-SHADE Organic SPF 30 SunscreenI searched far and wide for the right sunblock for me.I'm allergic to chemical sunscreens and blocks and am concerned about the types of chemicals I use.I read all kinds of reviews, went to all kinds of websites (including the Environmental Working Group (EWG) website), consulted with my Dermatologist, and read ingredient list after ingredient list. When it was all done, I liked the ingredients in this product.I liked that it was a blend of both zinc and titanium and that it contains antioxidants as well.It was also important to get micronized particles and not nano-particles.This sunscreen fit the bill. The price was a little bit of a turn-off, but it wasn't totally outrageous so I ordered it.

I'm on my second tube now and I use it everyday. It leaves a slight whitish tint, but much less by far than even some other-the-counter physical sunblocks I've used. It's thick, but it dissolves in nicely.A little goes a long way on your face. I just adjust to the circumstances. If I'm going out to stay out in the sun, I put it on heavier than if I'm just commuting and then staying indoors. It works because, no matter how I apply it and how hot the sun is, I haven't gotten any darker.

It's worth the price [although I would be happy to accept a price reduction :)].It lasts a good amount of time when being used for everyday protection, less if being used for all over, strong sun protection. The first tube lasted approximately two months after a trip to Hawaii and everyday use, including several 100+ degree days when I put more on and covered more of my body.I'm very pleased with this product and I just hope they continue to make it just as it is.
