Z-SHADE Organic SPF 30 Sunscreen
I'm on my second tube now and I use it everyday. It leaves a slight whitish tint, but much less by far than even some other-the-counter physical sunblocks I've used. It's thick, but it dissolves in nicely.A little goes a long way on your face. I just adjust to the circumstances. If I'm going out to stay out in the sun, I put it on heavier than if I'm just commuting and then staying indoors. It works because, no matter how I apply it and how hot the sun is, I haven't gotten any darker.
It's worth the price [although I would be happy to accept a price reduction :)].It lasts a good amount of time when being used for everyday protection, less if being used for all over, strong sun protection. The first tube lasted approximately two months after a trip to Hawaii and everyday use, including several 100+ degree days when I put more on and covered more of my body.I'm very pleased with this product and I just hope they continue to make it just as it is.
Clinique Face Cream SPF 50 with SolarSmart Sunscreens
This clinique product does none of those things it's perfect! The other day I was outdoors for 5-6 hours, and I have a nice tan on my face now. No breakouts, and no stinging eyes. It's worth the money, this is the best sunblock for sensitive skin around. My skin is fair and I use sunscreen every day, rain or shine. With age, I'm looking for something more moisturising and this stuff is perfect. It has high SPF, ingrediants that are good for the skin and it absorbs nicely without leaving a chalky look.Pricey perhaps but I have read that the SPF 50 body cream is the same and more cost effective.

This is an excellent product! I use it as a sunscreen for the whole family. It is even excellent for my daughter with sensitive skin and skin problems doesn't itch or irritate (like some sun lotions). Highly recommended!!!

The product is great.I love that it's vegan and cruelty-free, and since it comes in powder form, it doesn't make my skin greasy and shiny. But I seem to have a hard time getting the powder out of the container.I'll be brushing it on my face and thinking, is it even coming out?I have to shake it and tap it until I see a fine mist of powder before I'm sure it's flowing.I wish it just came in a simple container.

This has been my go-to sunscreen for years and it's excellent. Unfortunately, they've discontinued the "Light" color and the Medium is horrible for me and my son. (News flash: 7 year old boys don't really love looking like they have makeup on, BareMinerals.)
Please bring the "Light" color back! Until then, I'll have to go with the Paul Thomas Roth product, which smells horrible but gets the job done without looking like I have a Barbie tan.I used this all summer longa great powder to put on me and my kids after doing sunscreen. It also travels well to the gym as it is in a spill proof container!Recommended for anyone who is going to be outside and needs an extra bit of sunscreen/powder over their regular sunscreen or instead of it.
Elemental Herbs Sunscreen Sport SPF 30
I have tried this sunscreen on my face using one that was purchased at a far away health food store. It will last you several months. When I purchased it from the store the cost was around $14 including taxes. So if you purchase it on Amazon be aware that it should not cost you more than $15-$16, if they charge you more they are ripping you off. I personally would wait until you can buy this on Amazon with free shipping so that your total cost would not be more than $15 or $16. But it is up to you.
It goes on pretty well and does not leave a bad overly white film or dry up and leave patches on the face. It has 20% Zinc that they say is non-nano. If you want a sunscreen that is not over greasy and not overly drying or too whitening this seems like a nice one. It is one of very few natural sunscreens that you can use on its own without first having to put oil on your face or having to put a skin color tint/powder on your face to cover white. It spreads okay and does not force you to rub so hard like other ones. You of course have to spread it well around but you do not have to be as forceful as you do with other natural sunscreens that really make you rub your face.
This Sunscreen comes labeled as either a Sport or Kids Version...both have the same exact ingredients listing.
Here are the actual ingredients listing for this SPF 30 Sunscreen:
Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide 20%
Other Ingredients: Spring Water, Organic Green Tea leaf Extract*, Vegetable Glycerin, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride (coconut derived), Organic Rose Hip Fruit Oil*, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil*, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glyceryl Stearate (coconut derived), Methylcellulose, Stearic acid, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil*, Organic Shea Butter*, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Less Than 1% Total Formula Preservative Blend (Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethylhexyl Glycerin) *Certified Organic by USDA/NOP
Skinceuticals Sport UV Defense Active Use Broad-spectrum UVA/UVB Sunscreen SPF 45, 3-Ounce Tube
Happy customer here! This product was recommended to me by my surgeon to help protect a healing scar I have under my left eye. I surf a lot and get a lot of sun from that, so I also needed a sunblock that is waterproof. Other sunblocks I have used that are supposedly waterproof have been too oily and the water caused it to get into my eyes which would sting. The skinceuticals sport uv defense spf 45 works well. A little bit goes a long way. At first it is really white but it soaks in quickly. I did not have a problem with my eyes stinging when wearing this in the water. My dermatologist gave me a sample of this product and said she likes it because of the zinc oxide. Either way, I was skeptical as always with sunblocks (esp. those with higher SPF), because even the top brands are either too greasy-feeling and leave my face super shiny even when they are "oil-free," or leave a whitish tint that makes me look like a ghost or like I'm wearing make-up two shades lighter than my complexion. Anyway, not only does this product leave zero residue and shininess, my skin absorbs it immediately. No waiting around to apply my face powder when I'm in a rush. It's pricey, but I don't think I can ever go back to other brands.I've worn sunscreen religiously for many years, but recently had to give up wearing any that contain avobenzone, which is common in over the counter sunblocks. I can't even have it on my face without my eyes burning, and if any gets into my eyes they get red and irritated immediately.
So, after reading reviews, I decided to try this zinc oxide based Skinceuticals cream instead.
The good news is, it's much less irritating to the eyes than other creams I've tried. It does have a fairly thick consistency and leaves a whitish film when first applied, but absorbs fairly well after about half an hour.
My problem with this product is that after wearing it about a week, I noticed an increase in whiteheads the type that form under the skin and can't be gotten rid of easily. Worse than that, my skin began to flake and peel. After 3 weeks of applying it daily, I am giving up on it the flaking and peeling have become really severe.
From the other reviews, it appears that most people tolerate Skinceuticals well, but if you have sensitive skin that breaks out easily this may not be the best choice for you. This is the best sunscreen on the market. It provides excellent skin protection. It never runs into the eyes of the wearer, regardless of how sweaty one gets.It is fragarence free and applies easily.I highly recommend this product.SkinceuticalsSport UV Defense Active Use Broad-spectrum UVA/UVB Sunscreen SPF 45, 3-Ounce Tube

I'm an early 30s something natural redhead who occasionally gets a color glaze (non permanent) or two a year to boost the color.I switched to this shampoo after a friend recommended it (I'm FAR too cheap for salon brands of gentle shampoo, so I was using Organix Hydrating Teatree Mint Shampoo 13 fl oz (384.5 ml)).I was shocked at how great it has been.First, I didn't want to spend the few dollars more on this shampoo, so I got the Rite Aid brand knockoff of this product, right next to it on the shelf. It smelled great and was nice, and I used the entire bottle happily. However, I've been wedded to the same silicone-filled conditioner for my naturally curly hair, which I blow out straight every day(Herbal Essesnces None of Your Frizzness Smoothing Conditioner By Clairol, 10.17 Ounce), pretty much since the moment it came out on the market.I go through a bottle of it every three weeks, because I coat my hair with it.
Last month, decided to take the plunge and get both the non-knock-off shampoo AND the moisturizing conditioner.Holy bejesus is it making an amazing difference. My hair is soft, smells awesome, and shows almost no frizzies.I do notice that I occasionally have to put on a silicone product to smooth it after a blowout, but that's to be expected with hair as long as mine and in an area of the country with seriously fluctuating weather. However, most of the time I can do a blowout and just use a dot of PureOlogy Shine Max 2.5 Oz and I'm good to go.One of the best things I've noticed is how great my scalp feels no itchiness, no tightness, and less breakouts on my forehead under my bangs.Even though this shampoo and conditioner combo are on the pricier side for me (given the product size, especially), I'm hooked. It's really extending the length of my salon glazes, which are not cheap. And I go through less of it than the relatively thinner, cheaper conditioners like Herbal Essences.I also work out almost every night of the week, so this combo is gentle enough to let me wash my hair every night, but also gives me no product build up or greasiness for the times on the weekend when I skip shampooing.Lastly, if you've been to a smoky bar or generally around cigarettes, this is the only shampoo I've ever used that can get that cigarette smoke smell out.
The reason I am switching from the generic brand of this shampoo to the branded product is really the smell.Rite Aid's product just does NOT get that amazing herbal/Rosemary scent quite right, and it is heavenly. For me, that's totally worth the extra few bucks, and if you order from Amazon, that price difference is far smaller.
Two (enthusiastic) thumbs up from me.I bought this because I was looking for a Sulfate Free Shampoo and this had great reviews. However on using this I was shocked ! This seems like a heavy concoction of damaging chemicals (without SLS just so that ignorant people looking for Sulfate Free shampoos rush to buy this like me) with an artificial, medicine like smell and it left my hair extremely frizzy, thin, brittle and almost damaged. This evidently has a high degree of silicones to produce an artificial shine. I tried going back to my other usual products and then coming back to this to give it second, third chances but every time it was the same shocking result. It is inconsequential that this does not have SLS. It was far more damaging to my hair than even cheap shampoos with SLS. The point is don't buy a cosmetic product just because it touts the absence of a major 'undesirable ingredient'. Even if it did not have that one ingredient it can be a bad product if it has other harmful artificial ingredients badly engineered in to the finished product. Just see the ingredient list at the back of this product it has more chemicals (mostly unheard of) than any other shampoo I have seen. So the 'Sulfate Free' label is a highly misleading bait. Always try the product yourself and buy from a retailer where you can get full refund. However, having said that, each individual responds to cosmetics differently and so this just may work for you but this DEFINITELY is NOT a safe, natural and universally beneficial product. If there were negative stars I would have rated this with that.

I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo when I saw this one. I always had a hard time finding one that doesn't dry out my hair. I saw this one and Organix hydrating teatree mint. I end up getting both. I used the Loreal first. With its first use I noticed a complete difference in my hair. (I'm a african american by the way) First off a little goes a long way and I saw that it was thick and covered my hair nicely. Once I rinsed it out my hair was so soft and not striped. I followed up with my staple VO5 conditioner. When my hair dried I could still smell the shampoo which smells awesome. I would definitely recommend this shampoo and as a added bonus to my hair i notice less shedding....alot less.Shiseido Shiseido Sun Protection Compact Foundation Refill - Sp20

I recently moved to the tropics, and thought that wearing makeup was a thing of the past. Then I discovered Shiseido Sun Protection Compact. I rate it as the best foundation for wearing in hot climate with high humidity, as it doesn't slide off your face (like liquid foundation does), and the SPF offers protection from harmful high uv sunlight.
I also like that it can be applied with a wet/damp sponge this allows a natural and even matte coverage without looking heavy or cakey, and feels light on the skin. Also great for people (like me!) who find foundation causes skin break outs/blackheads its non-comedogenic. 10 out of 10.

I love the powdery foundation and I have been using it for years! It goes on smoothly and it does not lay heavily on the skin. This supplier is cheaper than Shisheido itself! If you want it quickly, go to the mall and buy it at the Shisheido counter. They do not have expedited shipping. And the shipping is confusing. According to their email, it should take about four weeks to get to you, but it take about a week.Want Shiseido Shiseido Sun Protection Compact Foundation Refill - Sp20 Discount?
Great product! Easy and practical, really efficient regarding solar protection and I live in Brazil, a sunny country! The only thing I recommend is wearing moisturizer under the compact foundation as it leaves the skin a bit dry.Jesus Fish Tanning Stickers 100 Pack
As a G-D fearing, bible believing, witness for the LORD Almighty, I like to proclaim my Christian side for HIS GLORY. Therefore, I buy the biggest pack of these fish I can find, and plaster them all over myself before I tan. Then, when I go to hand out tracts, the heathens see the school of Jesus fish on my forehead and know I am serious about the LORD.
I work hard to get my atheist husband to see the light of His goodness. So sometimes, when he is sunning by the pool, I slip a few of these on his back while pretending to apply baby oil. Sure beats my old method of drawing the fish with 100 SPF sun block. He caught on to that right away.
I make my children use these as well. Sure, they get beat up in school now, but good Christians know that when we are persecuted, we are actually blessed! "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." I want my children as blessed by the LORD as possible!
Australian Gold SPF 15 Continuous Spray Clear, 6 Ounce
As for the SPF, I haven't burned yet and it is pretty good with being water resistant. You do have to re-apply after about an hour though (as with any brand). The spray kinds don't last as long as the lotions but i'm tired of the lotions and missing areas and getting burned so that is the trade off.
I did get a little bit of pimples on my shoulders from it the first 2 times I used it. Not sure if I was allergic or if it was something else. Its not greasy and soaks into your skin fast. I like it overall but wish the scent was better.

I used to work for a beauty shop as their body piercer and one of the stipulations of working there was that the owner and beautician got to use you as her test subject for new products.. not to mention hair styles and eyebrow waxing was mandatory haha.. but
when she used this DISTORTION on my hair I fell in love.. not only does it smell amazing but you can Spike your hair MessYour Hair do whatever you want with it.. and even if someone smacks you in the head with a shovel it stays fixed.. but a soft fixed.. think BRAD PITT from FIGHT CLUB in fact she was basing my hair on his from that movie when she used this..
I'm glad to see that it is available here..

They are a bit hard to rub in, and if you have brown skin, you end up looking purple/white where the lotion is, but
we haven't minded that too much (could be a problem if you are conscious about looking fantastic on the beach).
But we don't think that it worked too well in the summer Australian sun, which is quite brutal. It wasn't a total disaster-it did offer some protection -but did not work as well as we had hoped. Not sure why. We applied it thickly and often.
Some folks have commented on the smell, I think it's fine. It's not roses, but it's not offensive either.:)
