I purchased a test packet from my salon and LOVED the scent and the way the lotion was not too dark and "bronzy." I avoided purchasing at the salon being that the lotion was $60 and I figured I could get a better deal online.. I was wrong. Granted this lotion was only like $15 but it was the biggest waste. It took forever to arrive and when it did the lotion comes out almost white. It has no bronzer in it which is how I can tell it's a fake. You might at well just buy a cheap regular daily lotion at Walmart and use it because I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. It looked to me like the person selling it might have bought it discounted, used all the real lotion and filled the bottle with some kind of regular lotion. Needless to say I won't be buying from this seller again and nor will I buy lotion off of Amazon!

I was using a different brand sunscreen, but it was making my sons eyes all red when it got in his eyes. So I went looking for a no sting etc lotion and found this one. I read all the reviews and this seemed to be the best one. It does not sting or make his eyes red. I tried this sunblock and absolutely did not like it. First of all -very greasy. Extremely greasy!! And the next day I got rash on my hands. This is very disappointing, I am not allergic person actually and I was very surprise to see "natural" sunscreen caused it. Do not buy it!

Sunology has developed a product that is all natural.What I like the most is the lasting/staying power and the very mild pleasant smell.Definitely not an overbearing sweet smell.I hope they produce a lip balm sooner rather than later.I'll use this sunscreen during the long 5 hour golf rounds!

This lip balm goes on smooth and smells good. It has a mild smell. Some lip balms with sunscreen turn up white on the lips! But this one does not. It glides on easily and feels great.I like the attachment deviceit is now attached to my keys. I used to always leave my lip balm in a drawer or in the wrong pursenow it goes everywhere with me. This will be especially important in the winter months when it becomes cold. Also when it's time for a new lip balm all that I have to do is buy a new stick and place it in the clip. I have been using self tanners for 20 years, everything from Estee Lauder to Banana Boat and this stuff is my fav! True, it's not really a self-tanner, more of a skin stain, BUT it does not streak like regular tanners and lasts about 3 days if you don't exfoliate it off in the shower.It truly fades much more evenly than other bronzers and is less streaky if applied like I do. Also, have you ever applied a self-tanner and then accidentally dripped water on yourself? Streaky, drippy city. NOT this stuff. Once it dries, you're good. No worries about someone splashing you at the pool or getting rained on. (Talk about embarrassing. "Excuse me, is that your tan running down the rain gutter?" HA.)
Here is the best way to apply it:
Get yourself some cheap rubber gloves (the kind for doing dishes, about $3) and cut them off at the wrist. Wear them to apply this Bronzer and you will save your palms from turning dark! Wash gloves when you are done and save them for the next time.
This stuff also works great if you mix a little bit of moisturizer lotion with it for dry areas like knees.
I just hope they don't discontinue this...if so I am buying a case!

Found this product just as they were discontinuing it.It's too bad, because I love it!I am very fair, and I like to be able to get a "glow" without the hassle of instant tanners (orange hands, waiting for it to work, etc.).Plus I can see how it looks as soon as I apply, and there's the option to wash it off immediately if needed.
The tan doesn't come off with normal day-to-day activities, even with sweating or if it rubs against clothes.But...the downside is it comes off if you go swimming.

I purchased this because i use to tan a lot and also working at a tanning salon. While I worked there so many women came in saying that they have skin cancer yet hopped right into the tanning bed anyway. i stopped tanning. i found an awesome self tanner that is amazing but its a pain to put on every few days so i figured with this i can put it on when i pt on my lotion after my showers. this stains your hands SO BADLY! its hard to spread onto your skin. I also feel like the color is almost nonexistent. if you dont put enough time into putting this on and making sure its 100% perfect it would probably be very streaky. since this is a three pack i will have to use the rest. If my opinion changes on this I will update my review.

Innisfree is perfect for me! I wish I had a picture to show the consistency, but it's extremely light and thin. Don't take the word gel so literally though. I was expecting something clear, but it's actually a transparent white. The nice thing about this product is it doesn't cause any break outs because it is so light and moistful. I have ordered enough shea butter to know what to expect.This stuff is crap.It had a sale sticker that was faded out.God knows how long it sat around before I got it.The white ring is a sign it was exposed to heat.I will still use it, but only on my feet and only after I remelt it and put it in a decent container.Next time I will spend the extra cash and get the good stuff.
I liked this product.I bought it to make personal care products moisturizer, lip balm, deodorant, etc.I was concerned because I'd been given some shea butter that I now realize must have been a bit rancid and I'd read some complaints about the shea butter having an unpleasant odor.This butter was a nice golden color and had a very milk scent.I have mixed it with other butters and oils, but it was also fine just out of the container.

I have had good luck with this sunscreen. This product claims to cover a broader UV spectrum than most sunscreens. I have fair skin, and used this product in Florida this past spring and did not get burned.As the other review stated, this is a thick sunscreen, and it starts off feeling greasy. The trick is that very little of the product is needed to be effective. Before rubbing onto the skin, this sunscreen must first be warmed and softened by spreading it between your fingers on both hands. If this isn't done, the product spreads very poorly, and you will go through a lot of it very quickly. As the manufacturer states, only the thinest layer of sunscreen is needed to block UV rays. It's thickness also keeps it from washing away from sweat or swimming. It has a consistency similar to hair styling mud; I did not find it unpleasant or overly greasy. I have actually used it as hair styling mud, which works quite well.
Although I did not suffer any breakouts (and I'm prone to them) I could see that happening with some people. The company claims the product does not cause breakouts, but if you have problems you may wish to use a separate product on your face or other sensitive areas.

I have had melasma (cholsma) for years. If you do not know what that is, it is basically hyperpigmented skin. As soon as the sun hits my face, the hyperpigmentation darkens horribly. Although only a cosmetic problem, having dark patches on the face is embarrassing.
I have tried every sunscreen known to man and this is the ONLY sunblock that has not worsened my melasma. I will always have it but I know it will not get worse. I have longed to be in the sun again, and now I can thanks to this sunscreen.
I would recommend this to anyone but anyone suffering from melasma there is not a better choice out there for you.

I just bought a tube of this sunscreen at Whole Food and rushed home to test it out. I am a triathlete and I have race this weekend and have been searching for long wearing sweat proof sunscreen. Up to now I have been using Badger sunscreen and love it. But I don't believe it will last for three hours in the sun, while swimming and sweating and I have won't have much time to reapply during my race it.As for this sunscreen, first it has excellent ingredients and although it has a high amount of zinc, it rubbed it in very easy, unlike other natural sunscreen. But as soon as I put it on, the smell was overwhelming, not sure it's revolting or just takes some time getting used to. So I'm going to leave it on and if it still bothers me in few hours than I'm going to return it. It's quite possible that this sunscreen could be a great product, aside from the smell, perhaps it just needs a light fragrance like lavender added to it?? If I keep it, than I'm going to use it this weekend and see how it goes. If anyone has suggestions on better product for athletes please let me know.

So, this is the third time I have purchased this sunscreen, which I think goes to show how much a like it.I am super Type A about ingredients, and this sunscreen meets all of my rigid standards, both health and environmental concerns.Also, am equally important, it works really well.It lasted all day every day through all-day long hikes and bouldering in the desert landscape of Joshua Tree.I only apply once in the morning.I am not saying I recommend this for everyone, if i get a little sun I tan, not burn, but I barely have any tan from 2 full days in desert sun this last weekend.A little of this sunscreen goes a long way.It is very thick, which can take some getting used to.And I know some people don't like the smell, but I don't have any problems with it; I barely notice it smells at all.Overall, it is the best sunscreen I have found on the market.

We are lake people and sped every weekend at the lake or in our pool from March until October.This is all we have used for about 6 years.It sprays on which makes applying to your back, shoulders and legs so easy.It smells good and it dries very quick.Although it says it is very water resistant, you still are better off to reapply it after you get out of the water and after you dry off.If it is sprayed on while you are still wet, it has a white runny look that has to be rubbed in like a regular lotion.Used alone, we have never had any problems with it staining our clothes or swim suits butif you use it over any type of self tanning lotions, sprays or salon tanning misters, it will come off on your clothes.We learned this after a trip where we had used it.Big mistake.Use this spray by itself and not combined with anything that contains self tanners.If you have a spray tan, then you probably do not want to use this product as it I s a tanning spray with some sunscreen to help you keep from burning.It is not a sunscreen...
I use the same product for 2-3 years now. I never had this problem before. But then again I only use it with bathing suit and the product is usually dry by the time I had to put on sunscreen.
It is very easy to apply this product to every bit of my body by my self which is very importatnt when you go on a vacation alone. It is a nightmare to try to apply ordinary sunscreen on your back :)

Eucerin Kids Sun Lotion 50+
My son has eczema and can only use Eucerin lotion without breaking out. When summer came around I wasn't even thinking when I bought sunscreen and soon noticed he was breaking out again. I searched the internet and realized that Eucerin actually makes a sunscreen. I could not find this any where at the stores, but thankfully found it here!

I tan very easily virtually never burn, but as soon as i switched to this lotion (only because we got it for free at the tanning place) I burnt on every single place that was touching the tannin bed. At first i thought it could've maybe been for how long I went for (which I had always done it before with another lotion), but today I went for less than usual and STILL burnt. I would not recommend it.

Menscience Advanced Lip Protection
So I received this item as a gift from Menscience with my purchase. I mean i could never justify spending $11 for chapstick! I usually use the Burts Bee chapstick, it does an amazing job works beautifully, keeping my lips chap free and smooth!So on to the Menscience Lip Balm i have been using this chapstick for awhile now. It has a built in SPF 30 which is the standard oxybenzone and octinoxate. It also has Rosemary and Soy and Olive extracts. Interesting is contains some Cannibis sativa (hempseed) oil! First Impressions, it taste tastes and smells pretty awful. I know Menscience goes the Fragrance Free route for almost all their products and I do love that about them but I really wish they did something about this product. It does offer great protection and leaves my lips protected but the smell and taste is really unappealing. That being said I give this product a 3/5. Its totally not worth the price, and for the same protection you can go for other lip balms such as the Burts Bees

What a marvelous product this is, and it's so vastly under-rated (and not so easy to find, either).I discovered it last year when my husband was hospitalized with an illness that created a nasty side effect:apainful red and bumpy skin rash on his arms and legs.His dermatalogist (who is truly a godsend to us!) suggested that we use this product religiously to relieve even the toughest skin reactions and allergies.At first you might think it's rather costly, but let me reassure you, the one pound container will last you quite a while.I would definitely recommend getting the pump to use with it, also.Otherwise you'll have a mess on your hands when you reach the bottom of the tub.
This product is great for the most sensitive skin, and also can be purchased in bar-form for use in the shower.For really severe skin rashes, try soaking gauze in warm water (as warm is can be tolerated), lay it on the area that's bothering you, and cover the entire area with warm towels.Leave these on for at least thirty minutes to get the most effect for the treatment (you'll probably have to repeatedly warm the towels so the gauze stays warm).You'll be rewarded with soft and greatly revived skin.If you repeat this treatment twice a day for a while, you'll see dramatic improvements in the condition of your skin.The redness will be relieved, and the dry texture will become softer and more supple.
While my results may not be achieved by everyone, I still believe that, dollar for dollar, this is a "must have" product to keep on hand.

I have a lot of minor blemishes and the stuff worksbut it takes a lot to feel sufficient when I'm using it. It soaks up quickly. Where I expected to use a small spot, I'm often using 3 or 4 dabs instead. It goes kind of quickly. It's not a bad product at all. The container makes it a litle difficult to travel with though. There's no getting that pump into my carry on luggage...If you're looking to save a little money, and some space, retinol cream is a great alternative.
