I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!!!!!! It has such a wonderful summer light citrus scent and soaks into my skin quickly leaving it so silky soft and glowing like those swim suit models in the beach photos. Doesn't make you look greasy or shiny. Just a perfect glow of radiant skin. My fiance loves the way my skin feels. The winter weather has done nothing to help my skin do anything but dry out. Plus I recently started tanning so that's adding to skin damage. Colette Lovely Glow is amazing. I recently joined a swimming class and the chlorine leaves my skin very dry. With just a few sprays of this moisturizing oil, it absorbs quickly into my skin and replenishes the essential oils. Aside from the pledge cleaning smell this product has, it truly does soak into the skin fast and help soften it. Will definitely help keep my face soft in these winter months, and keep my skin healthy in the summer!EDIT: What I have actually found interesting is that if I apply this to my face before I go shower, I end up feeling way softer when I come out of the shower. This is a plus because I don't look greasy, but feel soft and smooth after the shower instead of dried out as usual!
My only concern? There is so much citrus in this oil! So, worried about what that was doing to my skin, I began to look it up.
All Listed Ingredients On Bottle:
*Citrus Reticulata: I have found this is the plant name of Mandarin and Tangerine oils. It apparently is very good for stretch marks and moisture, so pregnant women may find use of this.
*Citrus aurantium dulcis: The Scientific name of Orange extract! This helps you digest Vitamin C better into the body, and we know Vitamin C is a good anti-aging vitamin. This oil extract is also good for anti-inflammation.
*Tocopherol: This is Vitamin E. Enough said.
*Citrus medica limonum: This is a lemon, so that is where the lemon scent comes from. It fights blemishes, improve oily complexions, antiviral properties.
*Citrus paradisi-macf: This is Grapefruit Seed Extract. I have found no moisturizing elements to this seed (but I believe it has Vitamin C and E in it), but rather anti-viral and immune boosting elements.
*Citrus Maxima: This was difficult to find. It is called a Pomelo, an Asian fruit. Apparently it helps strengthen skin and is rich in collagen.
Remaining: Olive leaf extract, Aloe, Green tea leaf extract, blanco (if anyone knows what blanco does, let me know, but I think it is just a coloring agent. Hopefully not bad for skin!)

Blue Lizard Australian SUNSCREEN SPF 30+, Sport SPF 30+, 5-Ounce
As someone who is very fair-skinned and has had a tendency to develop actinic keratoses (pre-cancerous lesions that are caused by exposure to broad-spectrum ultraviolet light), I have tried various kind of sunscreens. Most recently my dermatologist recommended this product, at least partly because it screens across the ultraviolet spectrum, unlike some that only screen out ultraviolet A. This Australian product manufactured in Tennessee is relatively expensive but I think it's worth it. For one thing, it contains zinc oxide (that stuff that lifeguards paint their noses with) along with two other sunscreen ingredients and for another it is formulated to stay on your skin without easily wearing off. My own experience is that I can be in the sun for most of the day with only two applications; I feel it is more tenacious than, say, Coppertone Sport Sunblock.
One strange and possibly merely bells-and-whistles feature is that the clear plastic container immediately turns blue (and I'm told the baby lotion version turn pink) on exposure to UV. This is helpful, I suppose, if you're not sure whether to put the lotion on, say on a cloudy day. But those of us with sun-sensitive skin know that ultraviolet penetrates the layer of clouds which are no protection against skin damage. Still, it's kind of cute to see the bottle turn a bright blue as you watch.

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Face & Body Lotion SPF 55
I am obsessed with sunscreen and have probably tried 20 different ones in the past few years. This is the best sunscreen I've ever used! It's an SPF 55, it doesn't cause my skin to breakout, it is waterproof/resistant, so it stays put when it's super hot out, and it is not greasy or oily, but dries with a relatively matte finish. Due to its high zinc oxide content, it works really well to keep the sun off my skin. I usually tan with most sunscreens, but not with this one! I Love it!
Outstanding, smooth, silky, with the right ingredients! Better than (and less expensive than) Clarins spf 40. Do your research! Ill never go back. This one is better than the one made only for the face because it is more silky/smooth and still has high SPF and broad spectrum coverage. This one uses zinc oxid instead of titanium dioxide. Excellent. Make sure you use product with one of the above ingredients to cover UVA and UVB! I've done my homework = ).

I have always used unprocessed shea butter, but found that it didnt absorb easily, and was often difficult to massage onto my skin, given that it's thick. This product is easily applicable, absorbs quickly, and has a more subtle smell than the butter itself. It keeps my skin moisturized all day (as shea usually does). I would recommend this product. I will buy this product again.

I am one of the few unlucky people who usually have breakouts as a result of facial cleaners (for example: I used proactiv for a little while... as a result I now have scars on my face due to cystic acne which I have NEVER had before), but so far no reaction... My face feels wonderfully clean. The little scruby isn't hard plastic like I was expecting, but more rubbery. It's very comfortable to use and you feel the cleanliness after you rinse. Pro's of this cleanser: I like this cleanser because it does get rid of my acne. I suffer from cystic acne and no other Salicylic acid product really cleans out my pores like this does. I used olive oil as a skin treatment a little while back and it left my face a swollen, painful, bumpy, red mess. I was having trouble getting the acne to go away until I tried this product. This Loreal line is supposed to get your face realy completely clean but I feel that only the Anti-Breakout does that. The Salicylic acid removes dead skin cells and leaves my skin super super smooth. It is the only cleanser in this line that I've noticed truly leaves my pores completely cleaned out. I don't even need to use pore minimizing or black head removing products because this works so good.Cons of this cleanser: There really isn't many cons to this cleanser. I just recommend not getting it in your mouth or eyes because it doesn't taste good nor feel good. There is something in it that makes your skin feel tingly that does this. Also I don't recommend using the scrubblet. It DOES NOT. clean your skin. I tried using the scrubblet but when I got out of the shower I noticed that makeup was still on my face and my pores were still clogged so I took some cleanser and put it on my hands and washed my face in a upward motion because your pores are pointed down and this will push the cleanser up into your pores to clean them out. Also when I used my hands the cleanser removed dead skin cells much more effectively. My skin was super clean and smooth. I advise against using a wash cloth or any exfoliating item to clean your skin with this cleanser because as I stated before acne medication exfoliates and removes dead skin. Now if you want something to use that unnecessary little scrubblet for use it to apply lotion. Just put a dab on the scrubblet and rub it over your face till the lotion is absorbed. The scrubblet will massage your skin which will make it healthier. A con to this cleanser is if you use chemical free and organic products then this product is not for you. I would like to switch myself but it is too expensive and chemical free and organic products don't work for my acne.

Bad skin is genetic in my family. My mom had it and so did my father. My brother had it worse and then it was my turn. My acne was horrible and I tried so many things. I tried proactive and that stuff didn't work, I tried the Avon system and nothing. I tried so many things that I lost count. Finally, my mother and I were at wal-mart looking at face washes and we came across this. I liked the scrublet it comes with. I can really feel it getting into my pores and getting rid of the oils and dirt that builds up in my skin. It's a deep clean without the harshness of a scrub. This stuff smells great. It doesn't smell fruity or flowery, but it smells good. It's not harsh like other acne treatments. It's gentle just like it says and it won't dry out your skin. A month after using this my skin had remarkably improved, and now, after who knows how long of using this stuff my skin is acne free. This product is borderline miraculous for me.I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face (flaking skin, similar to dandruff) and have been looking for a good facial cleanser that works for a very long time.The salicylic acid in this product does wonders for my flaking issues (it is the same active ingredient in anti-flaking shampoos such as T-Sal).I don't have acne problems, so I can't speak to its efficacy there.
On top of the cleanser itself, the scrublet that comes with it is very handy (thanks to the ingenious design that nests in the bottle) and does a great job in helping remove the scaling.Combined with a good moisturizer, this has my skin looking better after a week than any product I have ever used.
If you have flaking issues on your face such as mine, this is an outstanding product at an extremely palatable price.Perhaps there were other products out there that could have done the same job, but this one is a revelation for me.I pray they keep making it.

For years I have had to put up with the sub-par effects of Blistex Silk n' Shine, mostly because there was not a good alternative. This is the alternative and you will not be sorry you switched. The SPF 30 is perfect for the long days on the ski slopes, or days at the beach. This is also ultra-hydrating with out having heavy oils like other products that contain coco oil, or coconut oil that can clog pores.The hydrating effects of the product also last for a while, two to three hours even when out doors compared to an hour at best with other Blistex products. One small issue is the taste. Everyone says "Well you aren't suppose to eat chapstick!" but most do end up getting a little taste every now and then. For supper tasters that are sensitive to bitterness, this may not be the best product-but for the rest of us it is just fine. Finally, everyone needs to know about the smell (since it sits right below your nose), and I love it. It is a cross between chocolate and vanilla this is not over powering.

First, let me say that I am addicted to lip balm.I apply it throughout the day, everyday.I bought this Blistex for vacation since it has an spf of 30.My regular Chapstick only has spf 4.This product was completely useless on the beach since it melted.Even in warm weather pieces broke off when applied.Also, it tastes horrible.Luckily I brought my regular Chapstick and just reapplied it more often.I do use and like some of the other Blistex balms, but i'll never buy this specific item again.

I have been using Dermalogica Preclenase for a few years now and find it an important step in my facial care, especially when I wear makeup. Before Precleanse, I would wash my face and use toner after; there were always traces of makeup on the cotton. So I would wash and tone again. I tried other makeup removers but didn't like them. Enter Dermalogica Precleanse. First, a little goes a long way. I put about a dime sized amount in my palm, rub in my hands, and rub on my face eyes, lips all over. Next, I wet my hands, and rub all over the oil which completely emulsifies, taking with it all makeup and oil, even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Finally, I splash with water, one pump of my facial cleanser, wash, rinse, and tone (completely clean cotton no matter how much or what type of makeup I've worn.It even works with stage makeup! While this product may seem a little pricey to some, Precleanse is well worth the cost. It works like a dream and a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts most of the year. No matter what brand of makeup, cleanser/toner, or other facial product you're using, you need to give Precleanse a try if completely clean facial skin is what you want. I'm super happy to find that Amazon carries it buying my second bottle this year (and I use it everyday).
Well, after a few days of pre-cleanse (I've been using it for 6 months now), I must say I LOVE this product.The oil is so gentle, soothing, and effectiveand completely removes ALL traces of make-up without harsh exfoliation or scrubbing.Other cleansers still left residue on my face (which if you scrub with a washcloth you will see), left my already dry skin drier and tighter.

First of all, I'm 18, Black (skin color about the same as Will Smith's), with slightly oily skin and prone to acne breakouts of course.At first when i thought about buying this product, i was like, "It's probably not gonna work anyways" but i bought it anyway to at least give it try, seeing as i've already tried damn-near everything. Came pretty fast, one day before estimated delivery date, and i put it on my nightstand. A few hours later, i said "Why not?" and decided to use it. Of course nothing happened the very first time i used it(Duh!), but after only a week of using this, i can honestly say that i'm already seeing results! Most of my acne scarring is fading from when i was a PREteen with HORRIBLE breakouts all over the place(lol), and a sunspot on my left cheek is fading as well from when i sit on the driver's side of the car, but that isn't as serious as my acne scarring, just a little discoloration. As an addition, i *THINK* this cream is keeping my acne at bay! (What?!!) I can also honestly say that if i run out this stuff before i get my desired results, i will buy another jar. I just wish it smelled a little different.
Also as another note, everyone's skin is different, and this is NOT miracle cream and won't work in a day. You have to keep using and using it until you get the results you want. I usually apply it when i wake up in the morning, and before i go to bed at night.
i've only used it for a few weeks now, but i've found that more recent scars have started to fade. as for older scars that have set in, i have no opinion.
now it has been 3-4 months since september and I have to say that it hasn't done anything to fade old scars. it only works to prevent scars.

This product worked GREAT on my skin. It got rid of my dark spots and made my skin look smoother. I started using in March while I was still in college, and when I got back home in May for summer break EVERYONE that I was close to, basically my best friends and family, all were complementing me on how nice my skin looks now. I have used the most expensive stuff including Triluma ($190.00 a tube because insurance is no longer pay for these stuff), NOTHING WORKS!.I have very bad plasma (pregnancy mark) right under my eyes. the plasma are so dark that even thick double matte foundation of Estee Lauder couldn't hide them.But OH GOSH, this stuff works.The acne soap is wonderful too. The only thing I am worry about is that these stuff has 2%Hydroquine, if I use them too long, would that have any effect on my health.

Okay I'm very cautious about my skin because It's very sensitive, oily and I had spots on my face from past breakouts that I wanted to go away especially because I'm going on a trip to Atlanta Ga and it's for modeling so I really want my skin to look nice so far Iv'e used this product twice and it works very well it's not oily it doesn't cause more breakouts for me and it's working fast like really fast I'm going to put more on tonight before bed and wash my face in the morning and I'm shore my spots will almost be gone because I can barely see them now I had to write this so other women or men will know it is good you can also put it on your body as well it works fast there too lol I hope this helps because I was cautious at first but I really like it!

I hate smelling like I just got done tanning or like a burnt peanut. This stuff makes you smell like you just put on some yummy lotion. Even though the stuff with bronzing in it makes you darker (try jaded it is good stuff but it stinks real bad) If you don't want to smell burnt but get a nice color this is a great product.

This sunscreen is great. Really, really great. Here's why:I don't have sensitive skin, although it is rather dry. The only "sensitive" thing about my skin is my eye area, which burns like the dickens if anything above SPF 15 gets around it. I decided to give this a try, though, because of the name: Liquid Silk Sunshield. How cool does that sound? The past three mornings that I've put this on my face (and my eyes), I've been blown away. There's no stinging or burning or yelling or throwing things! It really doesn't burn! (Okay, it did burn the first time I used it, but not the normal "I want to die" burn. Just a little bit of "Meh" burning, and it only lasted a couple of seconds.) It doesn't even smell like sunscreen after you put it on. But make sure you pay attention to the "liquid" part of the product name. It is seriously, 100% liquid sunscreen. It's not a moisturizer (thankfully), and it's not even greasy after it sinks in. It's just pure, wonderful sun protection in a bottle.
I went looking for a suncreen with at least SPF 30 but without the heavy feel of most sunscreens.I happened to find L'Oreal Sublime liquid silk subshield in Walmart of all places.I picked it up since the package promised a "sheer lightweight feel" that is "instantly absorbed" with SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection.Boy does this deliver.Completely absorbed instantly (even when applied over "old lady" face cream), doesn't effect my other skin care products and doesn't feel like I'm wearing any sunscreen at all.Noteit is important to look for the words "liquid silk sunshield"since they also make Sublime Sun in a traditional lotion form.
This will be my sunscreen for as long as they make it.I couldn't ask for more in a sunblock.At this writing it is out of stock on Amazon; but I hope it eventually becomes available in their Subscribe and Save program.
Update Finally available on amazon but not prime eligible.Unfortunately the price when shipping is added is disappointing.You can get it at Walmart for $9.99.If you don't want to shop at walmart (which I understand) you should be able to find it for less than the total $15 here even at a grocery or drug store.

Pros: good SPF, doesn't leave any white cast, not sticky.Cons: contains high percentage of alcohol which stings like hell on my sensitive skin probably because of topical retinoic acid night cream.

I have sensitive skin, so I bought this since I trusted the brand. I should have looked here first. My face was swollen and red as a tomato within a few hours. They obviusly haven't thought to add sunscreen to the cream that's good for sensitive skin, in fact, they seem to have chosen particularly noxious chemicals and the whole product is basically a low-quality suntan lotion. I got this in a shipment as a freebie, full container. I noticed bumps around my mouth the same day but didn't realize it was from the creamtill day two when I saw bumps EVERYWHERE and these are the tiny ones that if you touch them they pop and are painful :0(I usually stick to Neutrogena and Oil of Olay, this is a sign I shouldn't use cheap freebies I'm not familiar with.
