I read the instructions carefully before applying, and I still looked like a geishaI couldn't get the white to blend in. Not to mention they charge $7 + $5 shipping and handling for a product that is the size of two thimbles.

This product is really good, the powder is fine and the color will cover really well. Most liquid sunscreens will aggravate my acne rosacea and turn my skin red. This product does not aggravate my rosacea at all. The protection is really good, just remember that if you sweat or go into the water, you need to reapply it. It is only SPF 30, or if you are in the sun for a long period of time (more than 30 minutes), you will need to reapply.

It matches my skin tone, and I have a medium skin tone. This particular item will last you for about a week and is meant as a sample to see which color matches your skin. I bought all three shades to try it out and for me, it is this color that works for my skin tone. All Clear is meant for light skin tones, Perfectly Clear is meant for medium skin tones, while Almost Clear is meant for darker skin tones.

I would recommend that people considering using powdered sunscreen obtain samples of it to make sure the tone is not too light or dark for you and to make sure there isn't an adverse reaction to it. Once one decides if it is for them, then purchase a larger size.

Overall, it is a great product and a viable alternative to liquid sunscreen. I would recommend it to anyone considering the product and encourage them to try it out.

I bought the trial sized not certain if a powder sunscreen would really work. I used it over SPF-free moisturizer. I followed the instructions perfectly and was pleasantly surprised with the results. My skin didn't feel weighed down like conventional sunscreen tends to do, nor did it leave my T-zone oiler than it needs to be. It also stayed on a really long time (I could see it on the cotton ball when I cleaned my face at night with toner). The only complaint I have is that it's a little difficult to apply. Maybe it's because this was a shaker, but I had a hard time (at first) making sure my face was evenly covered but not white. It took a few trial-and-errors to really get the hang of it. I would buy this again but in a different form (like the brush or orb), which may make it a little less tedious to apply.

problem:

I'm a 65 yo male that has always had a ruddy complexion. I wore a cervical neck collar for about 6 years, plus losing about 100 pounds about 2 years ago. My neck was an over abundance of loose saggy skin.

I used both the day and night creams. I just wiped it on w/o paying much attention to how I did it.

In my late twenties, I tried just about every moisturizer I could find including rarified ingredient boutique lotions but my skin remained dry, hot, itchy, flaky, and I was seeing laugh lines around my eyes.I was about to give up hope until my mother, who likes to shop at dollar stores, came to visit and bought me this at the full $20 price.I have been using Oil of Olay Total Effects ever since.I am hesitant to even try the regenerist because I like this so well.On the occasions I do try other lotions, they never measure up.

My skin thanked me after the first application.After a few days, it looked better, was less red, less chapped.Within a month or two (or less, I don't remember after 7 years) I had no lines near my eyes, my skin feels soft and comfortable unless I abuse it.When I abuse it, this lotion makes it feel better.People consistently guess my age to be 5-8 years younger than I am even though I have grey hair.While they swear it's not because of the immaturity, it's either that or OoO T.E. lotion.

I almost never need more than a tiny amount the size of a pencil eraser to cover my face, neck and hands. (Keep the cap or it dries out.) I use this UV version in the morning and a non-UV version at night.I recommend it to anyone looking for a facial moisturizer that works as good or better than advertised.Absolutely worth the money.

2012 update: Still using this product and still highly recommend it, but sometimes switch it up with the Regenerist (comes in a similar container but squirts out the top) which I can now also recommend.Just had several people my age (near 40 now, when did that happen?), and the lady doing my facial tell me that I have wonderful, young looking skin and again guess that I'm years younger than I am.I have minimal wrinkling and my skin feels good.I don't have a problem using either product near my eyes. I do have some coloration problems after a tanning situationthe Regenerist may be slightly better for coloration issues, but I can't say for sure. I get an even silkier feel to my skin from the Regenerist.Don't forget to moisturize your neck and hands, everyone!

Like any woman, I scrutinize my face on a regular basis and when I began to notice laugh lines and small, long creases in my forehead at just 29 years of age, I freaked a little.Then I began shopping around for a good anti-aging moisturizer.Knowing how much I love Olay moisturizer (I've been using their original beauty fluid since I was 16) and how gentle it's been on my skin, I decided to see what they had to offer and came across the Olay Total Effects 7-In-1 Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF 15.Deciding to give it a try, I bought it on May 21st and was eager to add it to my regime the moment it arrived on my doorstep.

This particular moisturizer in Olay's vast line of products is purported to do the following:

1) Minimize the appearance of fine lines

2) Nourish the skin with rich moisturization

3) Enhance and even out skin tone

4) Gently exfoliate

5) Minimize and refine pores

6) Defense against free radicals

7) Subtle "lifting" of the skin for a more youthful appearance

It claims to do all this with sunscreen (to prevent the aging effects of UV damage), vitamins (B3, B5 and E, which all hydrate and improve circulation) and anti-oxidants.

Upon my first application, I noticed that it wasn't as light as the original beauty fluid, that it in fact felt thicker, almost like the consistency of your basic sunscreen (it even smells like one).However, I chose to look past this, as it is a different product with different intended effects.

What I couldn't look past was a light dermatitic rash over almost all of my face just a few days into a once-daily application.I immediately ceased use of this product today after reading the warning label (which specifically said to discontinue use if signs of a rash or irritation appear) and I'm disappointed that I have to surrender the entire bottle to my trash can (it's like throwing away money it's a little painful).

Knowing my personal history and the fact that I have slightly sensitive skin, I speculated whether this rash could possibly be due to the combination of sunscreen agents in the product (4% octisalate, 2% avobenzone, 1% ensulizole, 1% octocrylene, all of which can cause rashes in some people).I have used one other Olay product with sunscreen in it (Olay Complete UV Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 15) and did not have a reaction so it's hard to pinpoint the cause even when looking at the complete ingredient list of this moisturizer on their website (www.olay.com). Due to this unfortunate adverse side effect, I am unable to say whether or not this moisturizer's anti-aging properties are effective.

I shall let this product review serve as a cautionary tale to people with sensitive skin that the Olay Total Effects line may not be the right choice for them.It certainly wasn't for me.

I used this during my pregnancy with success. It was a great moisturizer for me and I did not have any chloasma issues during my pregnancy (and I was pregnant all spring/summer and exposed to sun). I was happy with everything in Belli's line that I used.

I've use this face washer through my nine-month pregnancy and I am still using it after our son was born. It's mild, smells good, keeps my face clean, and the best part, it's safe for baby. No acne bothered me through the pregnancy but I'm not sure if it's just because of hormone change or this face washer worked.

I was a firm believer that mineral sunscreen (ie containing titanium dioxide vs the chemical ingredients) was safer and was using it on myself and young children. It supposedly was to be just a physical layer sitting on top of your skin, reflecting the UVs rather than chemicals absorbed by your body to protect you. Boy, was I wrong. Titanium dioxide is actually absorbed by the body and affects your brain (studies published by different researchers in the US, UK and France).

MenScience Advanced Lip Protection SPF 30

I get chapped lips pretty much every summer when I head to the beach for some reason, and I usually just use one of those 99-cent tubes they have at the drugstore. They tasted gross and made my lips feel greasy, but they did the job. A friend recommended I try this product, and I have to say, it's the best lip protector I've found yet. It costs a bit more than those cheap chapsticks at the store, but it makes my lips feel better immediately, and best of all, doesn't feel greasy AT ALL. Now I use it all the time, even when I'm not at the beach.

So I received this item as a gift from Menscience with my purchase. I mean i could never justify spending $11 for chapstick! I usually use the Burts Bee chapstick, it does an amazing job works beautifully, keeping my lips chap free and smooth!

So on to the Menscience Lip Balm i have been using this chapstick for awhile now. It has a built in SPF 30 which is the standard oxybenzone and octinoxate. It also has Rosemary and Soy and Olive extracts. Interesting is contains some Cannibis sativa (hempseed) oil! First Impressions, it taste tastes and smells pretty awful. I know Menscience goes the Fragrance Free route for almost all their products and I do love that about them but I really wish they did something about this product. It does offer great protection and leaves my lips protected but the smell and taste is really unappealing. That being said I give this product a 3/5. Its totally not worth the price, and for the same protection you can go for other lip balms such as the Burts Bees

My dermatologist recommended this SPF 30 about a year ago, over the SPF 15 I had been using for several years. It is NON-greasy as advertised. Quickly absorbed by my skin. I use it on my face (not in eyes or eyelids), neck and forearms, where the sun is likely to hit. I use it every day after I get out of the shower when my skin still has some moisture on it after drying off. It can be used over the entire body, daily. Several months ago, I could not find it at any retailer: major or minor and any drugstore. I called J & J the manufacturer and asked if they pulled it off the market. They said no. I told them of my problem and they really offered no assistance. I they went to Amazon and found these twin packs for about $17 per pack. I ordered 12 or 13 twin packs based upon my usage and the current expiration dates on the products. I calculated well. Then my brother has a cancerous "thing" removed from his nose and the dermatologist did not even recommend a daily SPF lotion. I recommended it and he bought some twin packs, at approximately $24 per pack. About $7 more than I paid a year ago. Wonder is J & J are artificially increasing the price by removing it from certain markets or from the market, period? It is worth the price. I did check the ingredients and they are the same ones in the tube that I bought a year and some ago.

For starters I am die hard "Aveeno" advocate. I still use there products i.e., Positively Radiant Shaving gel & the Positively Radiant Body Lotion. I have always took good care of my skin & can be very anal about the products I use. I gave this product a try being that it was Aveeno and let me tell you it broke me out SO bad! It started a week or 2 after I began using it faithfully everyday & night &during my trip to Miami back in July. I thought maybe it was something in the water or food down there that made me break out so bad. I immediately tried every & anything you can name. I never called my

dermatologist because I just figured I can handle it. And it'll go away. Boy was I wrong her it is Oct 3rd, 2006 and I am still battling this prob. To wrap this up while I was trying every "excellent" product I still kept Aveeno as my staple moisturizer as it never dawned on me that this can be the cause. Then I began using Alpha Hydrox "Foaming Cleanser" followed by their "Souffle" I used these products by itself for about 10 days straight and my face was clearing up so nice. Then I realized on the back of the Soffle jar it says that you can apply a moisturizer/suncreeen on top of that. So I began using the Aveen again and within in 2 days slowly but surely my darn skin broke out again! I don't know if its the soy or brightener, all I know is this product will break you out really bad if you have acne prone skin. And had I not read the reviews on drugstore.com I would of thought I was going crazy but apparently there are several people that has had this problem. Stay AWAY from Aveeno Moisturizer!

Solar Sense Clear Zinc SPF 70 Cream For Face (Carded Jar), 0.5-Ounce Units (Pack of 3)

Zinc is the only sun block product I can use that doesn't irritate my skin.Now that it is clear I don't look horrendous with white smeared on my face.Couldn't find it in the drug stores so ordered 3 jars online.Came very quickly.

It is VERY HEAVY AND STICKY. If you want water proof, this is fantastic. It will take some rubbing in to get a clear product, but it works extremely well. The drawback is the viscosity and difficulty in rubbing in. This takes a lot longer than a quick swipe with a moisturizer and than is the sole reason for my 4 star rating. I prefer the stick version of this product.

Like the title said, it may be good when it comes to protection, BUT it's NOT as described: It's a bit glossy (not exactly greasy), and when it dries, it turns somewhat WHITE (possibly due to high SPF 70, not saying for the 50)! If you try to put it thick, you could forget it, it will be even whiter and glossier and it disperse outward. I'm not recommend this product. Just imagine it on your face. Sorry seller.

Zinc based sunblock works the best.I've used 3 different versions of Clear Zinc product and have been very satisfied with it.The stick one is especially useful to carry it around and to use it as lip balm and to use it on hands arms for protection from the sun while I drive.

Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisture SPF 15 4.0 Fl Oz Pro

This is hands down the best product I've ever used on my face. I'm 51 and my skin looks great to me. (That may sound egotistical but the point is I like the way it looks.) Granted I take high doses of Omega 3s and vitamin C, but I was a sun worshipper in my 20s and thought I would have wrinkly dried skin by now. I've found out that depending on the moisturizer I use, it can look dull and flat. Never happens with this moisturizer though. I am also going through those lovely hormonal fluctuations that can affect your skin, and again, with this product? No problems. Youthful dewy skin. One problem is that you can't get blood from a rock and it's hard to afford this cream, with the serum, the wash, etc...So I find myself using drug store brands because the money in the budget is a bit tight right now. While the cash crunch is temporary, my review remains the same, this is the best product I've ever used. I worked in the Cosmetics department of a famous retail store for years and used them all. This still beats all of those.

I've yet to find a product that diminishes my wrinkles, but this just makes my skin feel so healthy.I've tried many other products, but have decided to stick with this because of the quality of the product and the results of healthy looking and healthy feeling skin.

I also have extremely dry skin and this helps alleviate that problem too.

The sun screen worked well enough. It goes on very smoothly.However, for the price, the size of the tube is pathetic.I live in the south and this product would be finished in less than two weeks with daily wear.I would not buy this product again, you are just not getting very much for your money.

Really light & silky. Doesn't block pores. Recommended by my dermatologist . Quite expensive,but you only need to use a tiny amount. Worth the price.

I have been using this suncreen for 3 years now and wouldn't use anything else.It is expensive but soo worth it.I live in South FL and use this product all year long. I have never gotten burnt and only apply once for the whole day in the sun.Though the product is sold in a small size I never go through more than one a year.

First I admit that the package is unique and cute and I probably will keep the empty container. However the ingredients contains too much artifical sugar and it's so yucky. I hope the company couldcut the sweeter from the ingredients, and better yet make a natural ingredients version of it, such as the Badger's lip balm, or Pangea's, or even Burts Bee's.

We got these lip balm "balls" for our daughter for her birthday. She loved them. Each has an attached clip so that you can attach it to backpacks, purses, or even jeans. That way they don't get lost. Just rememebr to take them off when you put the pants in the laundry. It's handy and the lip balm is... lip balm. I don't know what else you can say about lip balm. The real key is the container. It's very convenient.

I have used this lotion since last spring.Just ran out of my bottle.Usually I try a different one when that happens, but I liked this one so much I ordered two bottles to get my husband and I through our winter tanning this year.Goes on very nice and the biggest part is it doesn't have a stinky aftersmell to it.I can go shopping afterward and I don't smell like most lotion do after tanning.But it does give a nice and dark tan, too.

I liked this tanning lotion. At the 3rd time tanning is when I saw a big difference I ended up getting a good base tan from this product. The only reason I rate it a 4 is because of the after tanning smell. It smells great as a lotion just not after tanning. I try to do allot of research and look up reviews to find the best tanning lotions before buying them. I just ordered "Conceited" by Designer Skin it just came out this year. Im hoping it is worth the buy. Ill make sure I make a review on the new lotion as soon as I test it out.

smells good, looks good, don't know that it actually works or not? it was hard to tell but it didn't exactly get me much tanner than i already was but the shipping was fast and it was worth the money i paid so props!

I tan often and I was not happy with this product at all. It did nothing for me. I usually buy Ionyx Step 2 (which has a lot of tingles) and it gets me dark quickly. I read this is a best seller for tanning lotions and I have no idea why. It did smell nice and go on smoothly like regular lotion just no addition to my color.
