Zinc is the only sun block product I can use that doesn't irritate my skin.Now that it is clear I don't look horrendous with white smeared on my face.Couldn't find it in the drug stores so ordered 3 jars online.Came very quickly.

It is VERY HEAVY AND STICKY. If you want water proof, this is fantastic. It will take some rubbing in to get a clear product, but it works extremely well. The drawback is the viscosity and difficulty in rubbing in. This takes a lot longer than a quick swipe with a moisturizer and than is the sole reason for my 4 star rating. I prefer the stick version of this product.

I bought this for my dad after he had two skin cancer spots removed from his face. He has never used sunscreen in his life and now needs to for the spots to heal. He likes that it doesn't feel goopy and is easy to apply. The jar is the size that he can easily slip in his pocket for when he goes hunting.

Like the title said, it may be good when it comes to protection, BUT it's NOT as described: It's a bit glossy (not exactly greasy), and when it dries, it turns somewhat WHITE (possibly due to high SPF 70, not saying for the 50)! If you try to put it thick, you could forget it, it will be even whiter and glossier and it disperse outward. I'm not recommend this product. Just imagine it on your face. Sorry seller.

Zinc based sunblock works the best.I've used 3 different versions of Clear Zinc product and have been very satisfied with it.The stick one is especially useful to carry it around and to use it as lip balm and to use it on hands arms for protection from the sun while I drive.
