This is a good one to get if you actually want to get tan, it is not a block.

Use it on your body and the SPF 15 on your face, plenty of protection.

St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Tan Applicator Mitt

This mitt is a must have when applying St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. It creates the most perfectly applied tan, and keeps you from over or under using too much product.

This is the exact same mitt that is sold with some of the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse kits. It actually made by the St. Tropez company, this in not a knock-off version.

While the mitt works great, for the cost I do wish it lasted longer. I take very good care of the ones I use, always hand washing them after each use. But they're sort of cheaply made and definitely don't last more than one short summer. It's very thin, but I suppose if it was any thicker the tanning mousse would just get completely absorbed into it instead of onto the skin. One mitt lasts about as long as one bottle of the mousse.

Definitely don't try and throw one of these into the washing machine. Between getting tanner all over your clothing, it will just get torn to shreds. Just use a bit of and hand soap on it and rinse it out in the sink. Then set it out to air dry.

If these were priced a little less or lasted longer they would be a 5 star product.

The application mit is a very smart concept for the St. Tropez tanning mousse. It works well and does what it is supposed to do. I would definately recommed purchasing one to make self-tanning easier. However, it's slightly lower quality than I expected. It's rather cheaply made, and I think when I finish my first bottle of mousse, I might need a new mit. I supposed this allows for the mit to be offered at a low price, but it seems it might be cheaper in the long run if the mit was better quality.

I have been using self tanning products since the mid 1990s. I have been an avid St Tropez products user for several years now. Despite the cost, I think St Tropez tanner are where its at.

I recently purchased this mitt to see if it would help me not have to spend so much time blending the product in. (I like to wear it during the day so I need to make sure the tint is even). Anthony Sport for Men After Shave Repair, 3-Ounce

Rarely does a product truly impress me. I am happy to say this product did well. My face is extremely sensitive. After I shave, I always have razor bumps. The Anthony Sport after shave repair lotion provided IMMEDIATE relief the moment I applied it. This is very rare that a product does what it promises. I will do away with my Nivea and Gillete after shave lotions and exclusively use this from now on.

If you do NOT mind a bit of a strong citrus smell, this product will be fine for you. The smell will not last for too long, so that's a good thing since it was a bit strong for my taste. But the product itself is awesome. Made my face feel soft as a baby's butt. LOL.

I was looking for a change from my typical brand of after shave (which is L'Oreal Men's Expert Comfort Max). The only reason I wanted a change was because I was getting bored with the other.

My preference is to use an after shave that combines soothing with healthy moisturizing and sun block, with a light or non-existent scent.

Problems:

1) The product description says this has UAV and UAB sun block. When I received the product, I noticed this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the packaging or the container. Hmm. SO I'm not confident it actually has sun block.

2) The scent is a little heavy for my taste, but that's a personal preference. It's not offensive.

3) It doesn't do a very good job soothing my face after shaving. And I shave very easily. In fact, some days this just burns.

It's not worth returning, but I wouldn't order it again or recommend it to a friend.

Alba Botanica Sun Mineral Sunscreen, Aloe Vanilla, SPF 30 , 4-Ounces (Pack of 3)

I, like so many, was worried about the effects of chemical sunburns, and had been trying to find a mineral sunscreen that met my qualifications: paraben-free, water-resistant, didn't turn me into a white ghost, actually protected me from the sun, and was affordable.

An astonishing number of mineral sunscreens, while being better than chemical, still have parabens present. Since I try to avoid them in all of my personal care products, I didn't really want to make an exception for sunscreen. This sunscreen even has a snazzy little label on the front stating that it's paraben-free.

As a skim boarder, I'm out of the water but getting wet all day. This means maximum burn capability. On my most recent test, I followed the label and reapplied every 40 minutes after being in the water, and every 2 hours while out. No sunburns on my pale Irish body proves them right.

Now, I don't know about you, but even as the devout hippie I am, I don't really go for that whole zinc on the nose look. Trying other mineral sunscreens, I found that in general, you had to pay ungodly amounts for sunscreen to not end up looking white as a sheet. I don't really need any help in that direction at the beach, and this sunscreen satisfies thatonce you rub it in. Yes, the only caveat to this sunscreen is that it really needs to be rubbed in, otherwise it is greasy and white. I have found that the easiest way to solve this is to schmear as much as you need hitting all parts of a certain area, say, your face, and then doing a second round of vigorous rubbing to make it all absorb. If you have wiggly kids that won't sit still, then this may be a problem.

Since I put on sunscreen every day multiple times, and work outside, commute by bicycle, and spend my free time hiking or at the beach, I go through a whole lot of sunscreen. This is very affordable, and can even be found at other retailers such as Whole Foods when I'm out of town.

The scent is unassuming and pleasant, which rounds this out into an all-in-all fantastic product.

Ok, so I branched out into the "natural" zinc sunblock since everyone is raving about the paraban free sunscreens. Ended up with terrible streaky burns from this. Something is very wrong with the consistency, it doesn't spread right, and when you first squeeze it a watery substance comes out. I'm a freak about sun protection and making sure there is more than enough on, but this product failed miserably. So, I spent about $15 dollars for a really bad burn on my first day of vacation.

After reading studies last summer that indicated that many standard, chemical based sunscreens actually accelerate cancerous tumor growth, I started a search for a mineral based sunscreen that would be effective and somewhat affordable.After much research, I settled on the mineral sunscreens from Alba botanicals.

This is on my Christmas stocking stuffer wish list every year and I think I have at least 4 of these (purse, desk at work, car, home, etc) so that I always have one on hand.

Blistex DCT works well and keeps my lips moisturized, even throughout the winter.Occasionally, I need something a little stronger and so I use Blistex Lip Medex (which I also recommend), but otherwise, this is a daily-use product.It doesn't gloppy or sticky and wears well over lipstick.

My only complaint is really not a _complaint_ but more of a frustration just who did Blistex have in mind when they designed those little jars?I invariably end up putting this on the end of my fingernail instead of my fingertip once the level gets too low in the jar.Sounds petty, I know.Fortunately, I like this product enough to disregard this small inconvenience.:)

My wife bought these for me and they are without a doubt the most comfortable thing I've ever put on my feet. I prefer to be barefoot and that's exactly what these feel like. Soft, comfortable and lightweight. Before I got them I read some reviews and they said if you wear a half size to go up a size and they were correct. I wear a 10 1/2 and I bought an 11 and they fit perfect. After wearing these for about a month I thought 'What happens when these wear out and for whatever reason they stop making them', I immediately bought another pair and put them back for when these do wear out. I may even buy a couple more pairs just different colors.

These are a great looking pair of sandals.The fit was very snug and very hard to put onat first but after wearing them for a while they loosened up and were easier to put on.One caution for Senior Citizens would be that the soles are not rubber so they are very slick and could cause an accident.

IVY-DRY DEFENSE CREAM Size: 5.5 OZ

As a mountain biker in coastal California, I'm surrounded by the scourge that is Poison Oak. Over the past 14 years, the early years often resulted in doctor visits for pills and/or injections to ease the uncontrollable, horrible leaky symptoms. As the years went on, I developed regimens to help reduce the chance of contamination. Tecnu immediately after the ride, and scrubs like Tecnu Extreme or Zanfel if ANY itch showed up after a couple of days or so. Tecnu by itself was never a guarantee that I wouldn't develop a rash. But as part of my regimen and diligently paying attention to itchiness, I managed to dramatically reduce my issues with the vile weed. Trouble is, I never knew if I didn't get it simply because I didn't have contact.

The point of all this is I've dealt with oak for a while, and nothing seemed to protect me completely until I discovered Ivy-Dry Defense. I tried another product before (Ivy-Block) which worked well, but was much messier (left a white film all over). Ivy-Defense has sunscreen, and absorbs nicely, fully disappears. I've been using the stuff for a few years now, and it's become a solid part of my ritual, to the point where if I forget to put it on, I'm bummed.

The important take-away for me is that before I started using it, I'd get the occasional bout of oak. Since I've started using it, I don't. I still always follow my ride with Tecnu, and if I'm concerned about major exposure, a scrub as well, but I don't get oak anymore. I couldn't say the same when the same ritual didn't include Ivy-Defense. Good enough for me.

This product works incredibly well for me. I've tried many different products to both prevent and treat poison oak over the last 20 years and this is, by far, the best. I've had the rash from poison oak so many times that it now seems that I'm hyper-sensitive. Despite using products like Ivy Block, Tecnu, etc., avoiding contact with any plants that I could see, and wearing multiple layers of clothing, my legs and forearms would be covered in a poison oak rash after working outside. Wintertime was especially troublesome because it's hard to identify the plant and try to avoid coming in contact with it (the leafless stems are just as potent as the plant with its leaves). Now, I liberally apply this product, wear two layers of clothing and, after working outside on 4-5 different days, I haven't had a poison oak rash...thank goodness! Ivy-Dry saves me from the horrible itching and "weeping", a trip to the doctor, and ten days on cortisone. It's definitely worth the money!

These didn't really work with my face/head, but they make my wife look like Marcie of Peanuts fame. That is totally cool!

I bought these glasses to use the lens on a costume, and it turns out these are very well madetook me and my friend about 20 minutes to pop them out.

2009 Caribbean Gold Heart Throb Dark Tanning Accelerator 8.5 oz

Smelled like captain morgan spiced rum when putting it on.. There was no after tan smell .. Just smelled like I just got out of tanning bed. Worked somewhat not as good as others as far as bronzing would def try carribean golds other products but will not buy a bottle of this. Great moisturizer tho.
