NO-AD 8 Protective Tanning Lotion SPF 8 -- 16 fl oz

I am so grateful that Amazon carries this brand since I can't find it in stores anywhere!I bought a bottle a long time ago and it has lasted me for many years (not out in the sun an excessive amount) and when I was looking for more, I realized stores don't have it.

I originally bought SPF 8 and this has worked in all situations (beach, pool, working in the yard, etc.).I am fairly light skinned and if I'm out in the sun a lot, I burn first and then tan for the remainder of the season.So, in using this SPF correctly, I avoid the burn and go straight to tan.

There isn't any smell, it's not sticky and I even put it on my face without any problems.It's an awesome sunscreen and when I saw there were different SPF's, I bought those too!!

Living on the Big Island, I spend year-round time at the beach, or fishing, or SCUBA diving.Sun protection is mandatory if you are resident of any locale where solar damage can occur to your skin all 12 months of the calendar, and Ihave found over many decades that No-Ad is simply the best suntan lotion or cream you can buy.You get twice as much for the same amount of money, vs. other lotions/creams, such as Coppertone, yet the protection is identical.I use SPF-8 for my legs and feet, which never burn, and thereby can maintain a decent semi-tan.For more exposed areas (i.e., neck, back, or face), I use SPF-15 or SPF-30, but always, ALWAYS use nothing but No-Ad brand.It is an unbeatable deal.

At first I was somewhat concerned about using an SPF 8.However, I didn't want to return from Mexico looking as if I had been nowhere sunny so I took a chance and I'm extremely happy that I did.I returned with a lovely, even tan that spelled "vacation!".I am relatively light skinned and fortunately I did not burn at all.I did use the No-Ad Protective Tanning Lotion (SPF 15) on my nose and other spots that are prone to burning and everything went well.No burns.No peeling.No dry skin.This product is great and the price/quantity ratio can't be beat.

2013 Designer Skin Naked Ambition Bronzer Tanning Lotion 13.5 oz.

I bought this lotion online first because it was cheaper than in the salons and I have had luck in the past with getting the ACTUAL PRODUCT.However, this WAS NOT THE REAL THING AT ALL.I ordered a second bottle from a good friend who owns a tanning salon and receives his lotion direct from 'Designer Skin'.Upon comparison I found the lotion directly from 'Designer Skin' was white (as most if not all paraben free lotions should be) whereas this lotion was brown.They smelled similar, but were definitely not the same.There was SOME kind of tanning lotion in this bottle because it still worked.Most likely it was a half and half mix of 'Naked Ambition' and some other junk lotion.I just get annoyed when I pay for something specific and I don't get it.For those who don't know, it is often the case when ordering online that the lotion is altered in some way or just fake.Sometimes the seller is bold enough to use a lotion that doesn't tan you at all.My friend with the tanning salon warned me about it, but the online deals are usually really cheap and I wanted this in a hurry so I (like a fool) ordered this one.Order this one if you want.Just don't expect to get the real 'Naked Ambition'.You're only guarantee is buying from a salon with a good reputation.

This is by far the thickest lotion I've ever used. Its very rich and cream like. Too much and you'll be rubbing for forever to get the product worked into your skin. It also makes it aggervating to get out of the bottle.The smell is subtle but fights that after tan funk really well. The color isn't insane and builds gradually which is nice if you're not looking to have that fake overnight tan look. Its like you've been getting a tan naturally. It seems to bead up when I first apply it and I find that I have to spend a lot of time tapping it into the skin under my eyes.I'm not seeing any benefits either. Granted, I've only used it for a week, but I would expect it to produce some results given the high price tag. Very disappointing. I'm beginning to think nothing reduces fine lines and crepiness under the eyes.

Lancome ususally works well for me, but this is one of the best creams I have experienced. It is light and penetrates instantly, and after a couple of weeks of using it I can already see a difference in the tonicity and elasticityof the skin right under the eye. You need very little of it and it would be even better presented in a tube, since the finger often picks up too much product. I sometime use a tiny spatula when I have time. I will buy it again.

I love Aloe Gator. I go out of my way to order it, and will use nothing else. Their original formula literally only needs a single application a day for all-day coverage. My husband and I have very fair skin, and so do our children, and we put the original formula on in the morning and would spend a whole day on the beach in Mexico, and never had an issue (cloudless sky, no less), seriously, the stuff is amazing.

I love this moisturizer! It was originally given to me as a sample and I had never used Mary Kay products before. It is light enough to wear under my makeup and absorbs quickly. I'm only 26 so I only had laugh lines and just a few fine lines starting near my eyes and all of those have almost completely vanished. I can see a difference in my face. This is a great Mary Kay product. Lightweight and non-greasy. Not a bad price when you consider how much some other moisturizers cost from Nordstrom's or Macy's. Never had a problem with irritation or break outs while using this and I do have sensitive skin. I highly recommend it!

I will say that when I last ordered this from Amazon, the seller (3rd party, not Amazon) was a scam artist and sent me an empty package and continually refused to admit that she may have actually made a mistake by not sending the item. Maybe she never intended to send it, I'm not sure what her deal is. Imagine my surprise when I opened up a roughly taped up brown paper package that contained 2 pieces of styrofoam packaging and nothing else! I was ready to take it to the police department because I could not figure out why someone would mail me that. The return address was some man's name in a city I didn't know. I ended up dealing directly with a local Mary Kay representative and just paid full price for this item. My point is to be careful when dealing with 3rd party sellers of this product or any product if they do not have a stellar rating. It is NOT worth it to save a buck! I have bought MANY items through Amazon and Ebay over the years and never had this happen EVER. It could be a fluke, who knows. Lastly, beware of expired Mary Kay products also being sold as new. Let me start off by saying that I like my bronzers DARK. Most of them out there are just too light for me. Black Elixir is loaded with DHA, so if you do not have a decent base tan I wouldn't use this. I also wouldn't use it more than once a week. I get about the same results with Black Elixir as I do when I get a medium spray tan. Black Elixir makes me a deep brown color, never orange or streaky. Don't apply it at the salon unless you have something to wash your hands with, or they will stain. I put it on at home, wash my hands immediately afterwards, and head to the salon. Smell is not as important to me as color results, but this lotion smells pretty good. However, since it does have a lot of DHA, about six hours after tanning, you are going to REEK of it. This is the best extreme bronzer I've tried that didn't give me the orangies.

I like that it includes organic certified natural plant extracts, but that doesn't make it "natural"; could I put green tea in cool whip and call it "natural"? Nope. So why call something loaded with synthetic compounds "natural"? Among the many, octocrylene produces free radicals and homosalate is a hormone disrupter which forms toxic metabolites. Yes, it DOES have some nasty chemicals, but to its credit certainly not as many as other drugstore brands.

The sunscreen itself acts as a better moisturizer than others I've tried. But, in every other regard, it's like everything else on the market--greasy, feels a little chalky, goes on streaky white,has 'nasty synthetic chemicals', etc. If you have oily skin, you might want to use something else on your face. For the price, I like it--but it's certainly not the "natural" sunscreen I was looking for.

I have used this body sunscreen since 4 years ago and I will not change it for any other. I have many allergies and with this one I get protection and I am worry free concerning allergies. Amazon price is great which is fantastic!:)

Purchased this product at a brick-and-mortar store for a beach trip because it was the only non-chemical sunscreen on the shelf. It was completely ineffective. The consistency was thick and sticky, almost like glue, so it was extremely difficult to rub on/in properly. Once on, it provided virtually no sun protection, either in or out of the water, despite frequent re-application. Both my daughter and I burned, two days in a row. My only guess is that Banana Boat, not being experienced with natural sunscreens, must have developed a bad formulation--maybe not enough of the active ingredients? I would give it zero stars if Amazon allowed. Instead, I would recommend Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen, Sensitive SPF 30+, 5-Ounce (another titanium/zinc-based sunscreen that I have used and that works beautifully) or one of the other sunscreens rated highly by the Environmental Working Group--I wish that's what I had done.

I wouldn't say this product is fantastic but I feel it serves its purpose.It is good when I need just a little bit of extra moisture under my eyes especially before applying concealer if my skin is a little on the dry side.I am actually searching for a better eye cream that is not too expensive but I have yet to find one that meets those criteria and better than this one.Overall its a good under eye moisturizer but don't expect miracles like disappearance of eye circles or anything.
