Last year, a friend of my husband's had this at an all-day outdoor music festival that they went to.My husband usually hates the texture and feel of sunscreen, but he didn't mind this at all, so we got the name of it from his friend and ordered it.

While this is a superlative sunscreen in terms of its feel and ease of application, it just didn't do the job of protecting my husband outdoors.We just got back from a beach vacation in Mexico, and the first day that he used this, he ended up with a terrible sunburn from playing volleyball on the beach for one hour.Refusing to believe that it was the sunscreen's fault, he used it again the second day, and ended up with an even worse burn.He does sweat a lot, but this just didn't hold up to the sweat.I'd expect a sunscreen billed as "performance" to be able to withstand an hour of sweating, and this just didn't, so we used our stand-by Coppertone Sport spray the rest of our trip, and had no more sunburns.

If you are using this for non-sports-related activities, though, then it's great.It doesn't feel sticky or greasy going on, and has a pleasant smell.The spray coats evenly, and rubbing it in is easy.

Overall, it's a nice sunscreen, but just be careful if you do tend to sweat a lot.

I bought this sunscreen for my husband and myself for our beach vacation this summer.We play a lot of volleyball and spend a lot of time in the water.This sunscreen really did a good job of staying on through the sweat and ocean water.We reapplied about every 45 minutes just to play it safe, but we never got a sunburn!Plus, we love that it is safe from harmful chemicals.

I used this sunscreen in Florida and I think that's all that really needs to be said. The Sun in Florida is brutal and KINeSYS held up perfectly to all of the UV rays. I did not get burned at all and it protected me completely. I will say that it is the best sunscreen out there hands down, and it's alcohol free. I can't have alcohol in or around my body and Its so great that they are making a product like this for people like me. I would recommend this product to anyone! My girls are pretty picky about the sunscreen that gets applied to their skin. I have tried lots and it seems to bother their skin as they squirm when I put it on and complain.This one they line up and stick their arms out and rub it right in, no complaints!So far no pink so seems to do the job against sunburn too. Priced a little high but worth it since they will actually let me use it on them.It feels very light and nice on my skin as well.

Pros: good for sun protection, great tint, smooth and nice to touch.

Cons:

It made my skin extremely dry.

I have normal to oily skin and never felt my skin to be that dry. May be it is just my experience.

It feels ok at first (right after application) but in a couple hours you feel as if all the water had been sucked out of your skin.

You need to use a very powerful moisturizer under this product.

I was not satisfied with the #6 sunscreen with the Obagi routine so upgraded to the ZO sunscreen.Just enough moisture as to not cause application of mineral powder to be an issue.Love Love Love it

This finely milled powder feels very light on my skin and contains mineral sunscreen ingredients that don't burn and sting my eyes as do synthetic sunscreens.While I'm not a fan of mineral makeup, all other SPF sunscreens are irritating and this provides much needed protection without the distress.Until now, I've relied on my sunglasses alone.

Im a sunscreen junkie and have tried most all of them. This one wins for best consistency, best ingredients and most accessible (easily available in most dept stores as well but the price will be higher).I use it over my treatment serums and apply foundation over it (Guinot Youth Time) and it looks perfect and protects me while Im out and about walking and driving. Its a lightweight matte finish and can be reapplied throughout the day over makeup without looking greasy or smearing. Since I've been using it (about a month), I have noticed a slight difference in evening out the tone of my skin, though I don't think I look especially "radiant". I can't really tell the difference that way. The SPF is fine for me, since I stay out of the sun almost entirely, though I always think if I were going out I'd be wearing at least this SPF with makeup over it. It does smell very nice, and it's very gentle. I have oily/combination skin, with I think medium-sized pores, and don't feel it makes an especially good base for foundation, so I suggest a separate primer if using this product. That being said, I don't tend to look shiny. It lasts for EVER, though, because you only need a little bit and it does leave your skin smooth and well-moisturized. So if all you need is a light moisturizer, this is well worth the price. I would think it would be best for someone in their teens or early to mid twenties, and I think it would be very soothing for anyone with sensitive skin, though I can't be sure of that considering you could probably use hydrochloric acid as an astringent on my face and I'd be okay.

Finally, FDA did approve it 2 years ago, but still mostly you can buy it on line only.I have reaction on sun UVA rays, so I buy usually SPF 60-70, but this spray I buy for my husband. He loves protection it gives and he still get tan without burning.

I adore this sunscreen. It is completely unfragranced, which is great for sensitive skin. I also find that the formulation is really nice on my sensitive skin, as I have noticed no breakouts, redness, or any other issues. When I use sensitive formula sunscreen, my skin always tingles and burns right when I apply it. I thought this was just how it would always be, but LRP goes on really nicely on my face and feels like a milky sort of serum that is even soothing! The spray is nice for body application, but it's a thick spray not a fine mist. For my face I like to put 4 or 5 spritzes onto my fingertips and then apply. I love how it isn't super thick or lotiony, because I still can use my other products without feeling heavy. Will certainly buy again. Also if just using on face (I typically use a higher LRP for body),then this bottle will last forever! At least 4+ months worth of liberal application per bottle.

Sun Bum Zinc Oxide SPF 50+

My first reaction when I received this sunscreen is that the jar is really tiny for the price. The packaging is cute and the jar is a very convenient way of dispensing the product, but other than that, I don't have anything positive to say about this sunscreen. It is a thick, white cream that for some reason has a gritty texture as if some ingredient is not quite blended in. You can't use it on your face because it is so thick and white. I used it on my arms but they looked ghostly white after application. After a couple of weeks, I ended up throwing the rest out because it is so unpleasant to use.

The product was received in perfect condition.

But it was not what I expected, not very well protected me and gave me the sun allergy, and not only to me, allergy gave several people who used it.

I would not use this sunscreen again.

But I received the product quickly.

This lotion is perfect for guys with sensitive skin or acne (or both).
