I can't believe this product! Not only is it free of harmful ingredients but it works wonderfully! I used it when we were hiking on the dunes of Michigan and most recently on a pontoon for 4 hours mostly in the sun. Both days were sunny and in the 80's. I never had to reapply. Of course, everyone is different and I would use common sense when using any sunscreen product.
It applies easily and doesn't leave a white film. I will definitely use this product from now on!
I recently ordered several Devita products when I was looking for some all-natural skin care to use.Most recently, I've been using a Keihl's light lotion with SPF 30 that I really love, but I wanted to get away from parabens.
Of the Devita Vitamin C serum, the facial moisturizer, and this that I ordered, I like this product the least because it is pretty thick and I have a hard time rubbing it all in.I still really like it, but prefer the other products, which are perfect for my skin care needs.
Once it does rub in, though, it doesn't feel like you have a heavy coating of sunscreen on, which is great.It also doesn't have that awful smell that chemical sunscreens do.It leaves a sheen on my skin, unless I don't carefully rub it all in, in which case it will leave a white residue.
I will definitely re-purchase this when I run out since I love having a natural sunscreen lotion for everyday use.I just wish that the formulation was a bit lighter.

This was my favorite sunscreen ever. Unfortunately it's been reformulated and no longer absorbs flawlessly. No, it now goes on like cake frosting. It will sit on your skin and leave a white cast. If you attempt to rub it in further it will roll off. This is very disappointing. I've been using this for 2 years and now have to find another mineral sunscreen that doesn't go on like paste. DeVita took what was the best mineral sunscreen on the market and lowered it to the same level of all the other pasty mineral sunscreens.

I'm a physician, 60-ish and live in the desert. Sunblock is critical down here. I've tried most of the "safe" sunblocks on EWG's website and this is the only brand that uses a non-nano barrier (19% zinc), goes on easily without a lot of rubbing, doesn't leave my skin white, lasts for hours, and is "safe". I've used both this Solar Body Block and their Solar Protective Moisturizer. I use it mainly on my scalp, face and neck. The Body Block is cheaper and feels the same to me as the higher-priced moisturizer. I'm also impressed that it doesn't have an odor and doesn't sting my eyes when I'm sweating. It really works, too. Five hours of golfing in the summer desert sun or hours in the sun at Lake Powell no redness. And I'm buying more today through Amazon.

I really like the Devita Solar Body Block. I feel it's a great SPF lotion that goes on smoothly & absorbs quickly. Sometimes natural SPF lotions are greasy. This one isn't. I highly recommend this product.
