I got this for my trip to Cancun, knowing I would get burned. Both my boyfriend and I got burned during a snokling trip. We applied this when we got to the hotel. It is very cooling. The smell is decent and unnoticable after dry. We saw significant reduction in redness and tenderness is most areas of burning by the next morning. Other areas must have been burned more severely as they stayed red and tender longer. We also applied a lot and multiple times before going to bed. Then continued the following days a few times per day. I am going on day 4 and there is still some burned areas that are pink, but I think it is much less than it was. Comparing to previous times I've been burned and applied aloe or lotions, this worked really great. We went through about 1.5 bottles (6 oz bottle) in 2 days to cover our arms, shoulders, back, face, and part of legs (of course my boyfriend was putting on more than would rub in and letting it sit, not sure if that is the way to go or not, I rubbed mine in). So far I haven't found anything better, and I bought this based on the recommendation of multiple co-workers. Sun burns can ruin your vaction. Use sunscreen, and when you burn use this as soon as possible afterward. I will buy again. It reduces burn greatly, but it certainly isn't a cure.
